Isn't it?! So great. Makes me want to watch Hook again!
So dad throws out my trash can, which is cool except when I needed to dig through it to find my receipt. gonk Apparently, EVEN THOUGH the manager put in $20 on the gift card I got (after the employee messed up) STILL there is no money in it and right after I throw the receipt away. ):<<< Why, universe, why?
So I figured that I'll look through my trash later tonight unaware that my dad, though he has rarely ever thrown my own trash away, decided to throw my trash away ... into the big trash can.
With my moldy pumpkin.
And grass.
Even though the grass was suppose to be in a separate trash can.
So I had to dig through EVERYTHING just to get the the bottom where no receipt was found. Why? Why? crying
But why would I need a receipt anyway? Even if my brother used up all the money, a receipt wouldn't tell them much besides the date I got it on and that I did buy it. Do you think they will believe me? I mean, the card isn't even used...
Ugh....I HATE gift cards....should have just given him $20. srsly. mad
But I also got 10k words in Nano today which is cool. yay?

It's November and it's 90 degrees outside. Wtf. I want to wear my new coat! D:
And *throws fit* I don't want to go be social, I want to stay in my nice cool living room and play MapleStory since they finally fixed the Halloween event. D: D: D:

'His Face All Red' is pretty wicked indeed.
In a similar vein, Hughbert is rather spooktacular. (Yes. I went there.)
I wish I lived in a world where Halloween, not Christmas, was the dominant holiday.

I'm iffy about both Halloween and Christmas as they both are crazy commercial fest that distorted the real meaning of the celebration. Altho, on that regard Christmas is definitely the most distorted out of the two. Also, I always have this pinch in my heart when it comes to Christmas...

Christmas is my favorite holiday! heart I love the holiday spirit, the music, the whole feel of everyone out and buying items.... I love giving to others. That's my favorite part! I'm such a weirdo.
That Hughbert was pretty cool (I love the drawing of the cat). Very nicely done for that artist!

The new hair they leaked in the EI report is pretty nifty... except for the eyebrows. What the hell does Gaia have to ruin half of the salon hair with hideous, angry eyebrows?

This cat is concentrated cuteness overload.Speaking of cats, my loyal 12 years-old Carbone is still on my lap and still looks the same (with the Tarsier eyes and all). Although I'd rather have her on my lap rather than on my keyboard. Lady Pyre: I don't get the eyebrows madness along with the hair changing. We should be able to choose their shape and then their color will change according to the hairstyle. I want the mohawk, not the eyebrows that comes with.

Just found out the my brother is getting a divorce, I'm in school too long to have noticed that it was turning this way. I haven't heard much about the living situation for the three kids. They've been coming over to grandma's and Papa's more often while I'm at school though. The kids are having a hard time transitioning with the divorce, especially the oldest. I don't know what I can do to help them through it.
Other then that I've been studying my a** off. I don't have enough lab hours though. I need to work on it. Today I learned a little krav maga defensive blocking, and fighting. I don't feel as defenseless but I'm still no fighter.

I've never understood what the big trauma is behind divorce. I was HAPPY when my parents got divorced. I'm actually the one who told my mom to file. She was trying to "stay in it for the kid." rolleyes
No more fighting? Hurrah!

I used to wish my parents would split up. Nothing was scary or alarming, I just had this deep, abiding sense that they were completely wrong for each other.

I'm sorry to hear that, Ryo. ): My aunt's neighbors are also going through a divorce and it's hard on the kid. I guess, in Pyre's case, it's not all the same for everyone. XD
I feel like a failure. I wanted to get Nano done today but everything is going on: my friend called me up out of the blue and wants me to visit her house for some unknown reason (she can't explain it? She said it's 90% visual? What?) Plus, I haven't heard from her in over a year. It's just kind of random. I also don't like that my friends AAALWAYS want ME to go over to THEIR house but never to my house. Never. ):< I don't have enough gas money to visit them and THEY have JOBS.
Ugh rant ugh
Sometimes, you guys, friends ... you just wonder why they're friends. Haha.

One of my uncle went through a horrific divorce and his wife was such of a b***h that all she cared for was my uncle's pension money.
Oh and on top of that, she didn't give a crap about respecting my uncle's visit time to his son. So he barely saw him since the divorce.
Fortunately for my uncle, he's with a very nice woman and she helped him to sort through this.
So yeah, divorce can go wrong big time...
