Michael lied on a bench in the courtyard, his dark green sweatshirt standing out against the brown wood of the bench. He had his hood pulled over his face, and his legs stretched out far. He was asleep, but he remained so still it would almost appear as if he was unconscious or even dead.
Within his mind, however, a great turmoil was erupting. He was standing on a floating plateau, the purple rock somehow still despite its lack of attachment to anything. Around him, the sky was black with bright stars shining light all around. A monster stood before him, black and menacing. It let out a roar, charging the teen with unstoppable fury. Michael let out a roar in return, breathing out a breath of green flame.
Back in the real world, Michael let out a loud sneeze from his sleeping position. A large puff of cherry blossom petals appeared from nowhere, descending upon him and littering parts of his body with the bright pink petals. He didn't wake up, but to anyone looking on, they'd see a boy covered in pink petals randomly napping. A very abnormal sight for a normal day.

((Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Thursday was really bad for me, and I just didn't have the will to post more than that once, and then yesterday was a football game, so I didn't even have time to sign on. I'll try and post soon, but you can keep going without me for now. Just sort of assume that Aurora is listening in quietly, and maybe petting Altan or something.))

Ever looked up at the clock in the library and gasped. "Oh! I should be heading to class. It'll take about ten minutes to get to the Familiars class since it's outside and by the forest. Plus, I have to stop by my room and get my book bag and Raven."
She stood up from the table and then smiled at Raigin. "Thank you very much for meeting me here. Do you want to meet each day at this time outside of the school's entrance to practice?"
She wondered if Aurora, Altan and Ares were going to come with her to the class.

Raigin stood smiling, "Very well, however I should probably bring up orur little lesson to the Head mistress so she doesnt think im attacking you or something." he said calmly.

Ares laughed. "That'd be interesting, but yeah. Good idea." He stood and and stretched, slipping the library book back where it belonged. "Ready Ever? Aurora?"

Ever's eyes widened. "What?!"
When the librarian scowled at and shushed her, Ever blushed and bowed her head to her in apology. Then, she looked back at Raigin and glanced at Ares as well. She made sure her voice was softer this time.
"Tell the headmistress? Maybe you should tell her that you're tutoring me on how to communicate with plants, but please don't tell her why I want to learn. She'd put a kibosh on the idea as soon as you said the word poison or deadly."

Raigin laughed, "I only polan to tell her the truth im teaching you to speak to plants at the school entrance why you want to learn is of no importance to me or her so I wouldnt bother her with such details." he said with a smile.

Ever breathed a sigh of relief and then smiled at Raigin. "Thank you. Thank you so much, for everything. I'll meet you this time tomorrow, then, at the school entrance outside. Have a good day, Raigin."
She bowed her head to him in thanks and then looked at Aurora and Ares, nodding to Ares' previous question.
"I'm ready. You all can go straight to the class or follow me to my room while I pick up my bag and Raven. Up to you."
She smiled once more at Raigin and then at Ares, Aurora and Altan before turned and leaving the library, heading in the direction of her room.

Michael sprung up suddenly, awakening from his mysterious dream. He found himself covered in flower petals, and the only thing he could say was, "Oh, not again."
He rose to his feet, feeling his muscles stretch as he rose to his amazing height of 5'9. He began brushing the petals off, looking to make sure no one noticed him covered in petals. After triple-checking his clothing for any hidden petals, he moved towards the classrooms.
Which one to help out at today, I wonder...Perhaps Familiars? I do like seeing all of the creatures, although it would suck if they attacked me. Meh, I'll go for broke. Familiars, here I come!
And with that final train of thought, he proceeded to track down the Familiars class.

Aurora thought for a moment. "I have no need to stop by my own room," she said, as her room was near Evermore's, "so I will see you when you arrive at class." She stood, Altan jumping down next to her, and curtsied slightly to the group. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Ares, Raigin." Then she and Altan walked out of the library and down to the Familiars class. It did not take long to reach the little area, and they greeted Professor Markums with small, polite smiles (and a curtsy from Aurora) before sitting down.

{{Alb, you and I can still do your scene with the earlier Familiars class and Professor Markums. It will be retroposting, which is fine. smile The current scene is a couple hours later, the next Familiars class period. And if you want to have Sam have the class with the other characters, you can always have her go to the headmistress and request to transfer to the later class time. smile Up to you!}}
Ever nodded and smiled to Aurora as she left, though she was a little confused. Hadn't she known Ares before now? Why had she said it was a pleasure meeting him?
She shrugged and then grinned at Ares. No time to think of that now. Had to get to class!
She ran to her room, not checking to see if Ares was following her or not, quickly grabbed her bag and picked up Raven, who was talking on and on about some different arrangements she had made in her dollhouse, and then raced down the flights of stairs, outside, and over to the classroom by the forest. Well, as much as you can call an outside area a classroom.
She smiled and nodded to Professor Markums and then sat down beside Aurora. She put her bag on the other stump next to her to save for Ares if he wanted to sit next to her and Aurora. She then looked around to see who all had made it to class today.
Her eyes widened slightly when she saw Michael, the barista at the night cafe on the second floor, coming toward the class. He was joining, too? Awesome! She hadn't seen him sit in on classes before. Of course, he probably had. Just not ones she had been in.

Professor Markums smiled at the students and familiars that came over and sat down. She absolutely loved teaching and interacting with the students, almost as much as she loved magical creatures.
When she saw Michael, one of the Bai Ching workers, approaching the class, she smiled brightly at him. "Michale, hello! I'm glad to see that you want to sit in on my class. Please, take a seat anywhere you'd like. There are no assigned seats in this class."

As soon as Ever sat down, Raven looked over at Altan next to Aurora, hopped over to Ever's other shoulder, the one closest to Altan, and started speaking excitedly to him before class started.
"Altan! You won't believe what Ever did for me! She conjured me a dollhouse! I have my own house, just for me! With a working fridge, a bed, couches, two floors, so many things! I've never had a house of my very own before."

Really? Altan asked, smiling in his catlike way up at the fairy. His tail slowly swished as he spoke, conveying his contentment. That is wonderful, and very considerate. It must feel nice to have a place after not having had one. Altan wouldn't know the feeling; he'd always had a home if he ever wished to visit it. It was a quaint little house on the inside, and only accessible by him. It was his sanctuary, so to speak, that was set in a different place. He could, of course, invite others in, but he rarely did because he rarely felt the need to, as it was infrequent that he visited it himself.
((Basically, he has a little pocket-dimension thing that works rather like a genie's lamp, but with no 'door' in 'our world' and no wishes or what-have-you.))
