Alexander just didn't want you to look ridiculous all on your own, silly Yin. But really Yin's moves were very interesting, and pretty fun to mimic, and by the time they had both finished with that he was actually doubled over in silent laughter, wishing just for that moment that he hadn't taken the drink that had stolen his voice away for now, and that he could actually talk to the weremantis, though really, at this point, what would he even say?? Wait wait wait... Our bodies belong to the night? Alex was beginning to wish he'd brought his eyephone with him, so that he could record this moment and watch it again and again. But then he remembered the picture he had taken of Yin when he had been turned into a ghoul and nixed the idea. He would just have to lock this particular image into his mind forever, engraved, and never likely never ever mentioned ever again. He didn't think it could even get any better, but then the other boil just had to keep going, and while it was just so completely out of character, Alex had a fleeting moment to wish that Yin actually would loosen up like this for real, without some drink making him do so. Nobody was really even paying attention, they were so wrapped up in their own goings on. Oh jack. More glitter. The zomboil ducked and covered, though continued to grin, and eyes widened in amazement when Yin began his next dance, one that seemed...well...slightly more recognizable as actual dance moves to the zomboil, who instead of joining in, this time couldn't help but just stand and watch in utter amazement. When it was over, he might have mock swooned, and then straightening up before he fell over for real, began giving Yin the applause he deserved.

The dance was over- Amrita was free! Christof was proud of himself, sitting back, letting her take care of herself. She looked beautiful, even with her face in tatters- he was tryin gto put his finger on what was so... DIFFERENT about her... before it hit him. His eyes focused on her feet, her hands, as she laughed and walked away from her friend, his heart racing. He should go say hello. He should tell her how beautiful she was, how lovely her dress looked, what a great job she had done with the place, but terror made the massive hunchback huddle back, wide-eyed and anxious. She was probably swamped. Maybe he should check on Barth and Calder. He concentrated on making sure the napkins were straight on the table.

An applause. Oh the applause. It was all that Yin really wanted in life. Of course, he would have preferred it to be more thunderous, perhaps filling a stadium or auditorium, but it was Alexander cheering for him and that counted more than anyone else cheering. But still, if he had not mistaken things, Alexander had been perilously close to falling just then. He bowed at the applause before moving closer, putting a steadying arm around Alexander. "Alexander, you are as desirous as a freshly killed rat to me," Yin told him with an edge of seriousness coloring his words. "Please, assure me that you are okay. The show cannot go on if you are unwell. Life would simply not be worth living. Are you feeling faint?"Loudly he spoke to those around them, moving his arm around them to show people to move back. "Give him air!" Yin demanded. ----------- He relaxed and let her move him into the right position, fingers laced with hers, the other resting low on her back. It was easy to follow her movements, to sway with her and move, but he did keep his eyes focused downward to help guide his steps. The thanks was entirely unnecessary, and he bent down to speak softly into her ear. "I'm the lucky one," he admitted to her. Anyone here would be lucky to escort her, and yet she had chosen to put up with him. And he didn't even know how to dance very well. Actually, this was all very relaxing. Being able to make sure that a priestess was having the perfect night, focusing on her needs. It was something that he hadn't fully even realized he had missed so much until he was experiencing it once again. [quote-"Beejoux"]

"Abso-jackin' lutely," Roch said, pulling her into an easy slow dance. "How's it goin', Yaya? Havin' fun?" he asked as they swayed. He had decided a long time ago that listening to the words of a slow song was just plain stupid--so he ignored them.

Tavi could tell that Zel was awkward in the hug, the semi-rough pat gave it away, but he was please that the other boil was comforting him. Even if he was ashamed to admit it, he needed someone like Zel, someone that tried to comfort him even if they weren't so good at it, someone like Davii. Games? Food? He wanted both of those and if Zel would go with him he wouldn't be lonely and they could find Yves too! Tavi was starting to cheer up a little, images of a good time filling his head and being as spoiled as he was he didn't once figure that Zel might have had other plans. Pulling back from the hug a little he gave a huge sniffle about to answer the questions Zel had posed only to stop with his mouth half open when hearing a familiar call of his name.
Yves? Turning towards the call he nearly starts to cry again, but manages to hold it back. Pushing a hand up he rubs at his eyes with the heel and clings to Zel's shirt with the opposite hand. Listening to the horseman he wasn't exactly sure what the boil was talking about but one part he caught and he nodded to, "y-yes! I was tricked by that wolf." Tavi replied, because in all honesty he had thought this. Whining a little he tries to push himself back to the better mood since he really wanted Yves to have a good time more than anything!
Glancing to Zel with Yves he blinked innocently, not catching that Yves thought that they were partners. Letting loose of his friends shirt he adjusts his collar and puts on a tough look before marching closer to Yves. "But, but Ghouls before Boils! Er..I mean Boils before Ghouls!" Tavi quickly corrected himself then giggled a little, though the laugh was more forced than free. He wanted to be in a good mood, he really did. Thinking the games would be a great escape for them all he grinned to both boils and wiped his eyes yet again before announcing, " LGPSG!" Of course the kitsune didn't bother to explain his own made up acronym but he did add, "which games do you guys like, I wonder whats there?" Wiggling a little he pulled his tails around his waist and removed the purple beads that were strung around one. Looking to Yves he moves to him and motions him down a little, "here here remembered I said I'd give you some s-so put these on ok!"

Amrita was indeed busy...well, if you counted looking for your own shoes as being busy. Damn Roch for making her take them off! Now she'd never find th---Oh, there they were. The ghoul stooped to pick them up, her hand clutching tightly on a nearby post for balance, and as she struggled to put the heeled boots back on she noticed something else. The massive hunchback at the food tables, fussing.
It never was hard to find Christof in a crowd.
Her gaze dropped back to her shoes quickly, putting them on a little slower now to buy herself some time to think of what to do. Honestly...she didn't know what to do. Should she go over to him? But she was dressed like ---! Oh jack why did she think this outfit was a good idea?! Ahhh... Her shoes were back on her feet and she had no more excuses; she had to go say hi. Besides, he was too close, he must have already seen her.
"You don't have to do that, you know." She reminded him a little sternly, once she was close enough to be heard.

Oh, she was slathering it on pretty thick, wasn't she? Giggling like a little school girl being doted on, he allowed her his hand to be doted on, and couldn't help but shrug his shoulders a little girlishly, before grabbing the girls hand a bit and gave her a great curtsy, fluffing his dress up a bunch.
"I am here, as requested, for the partnership of yourself during the prom. It's a rather crazy event, isn't it? Last year I came with glitterbombs and a much thinner dress, I admit." He answered, looking down to her as he walked lightly with her, (well, she floated? It was a complicated subject on that one. Must be cheaper without needing pants.) "I admittedly spent a few days wearing the dress and trying to get through doors and whatnot - it's the bell of the dress I have the hardest part with." He admitted lightly, looking around.
"Is there something that you are interested in? Refreshments? A dance or two, possibly? If you catch anything funny while we're in the crowd, let me know, also. He offered.

Were Gabby and Efflo still dancing on the dance floor? You bet they were. The two were taking turns trying to keep the other one from making a scene, which in turn was probably more of a scene than either of them alone. But eventually, the effects of the drinks were wearing off, even if Gabby didn't realize it - he probably wouldn't try to say another word for several hours. A slow song. Thank Jack. He drug Efflo into his arms, clamped down, and kept the boil's sparkling dance to a strict minimum.

By now the effects were waning quickly, and as his glittering personality faded, Efflo was left embarrassed, horrified that they were still prominently displayed on the dance floor. The tune changed and Gabby pulled him close, though he really didn’t have to. By this point Efflo was practically throwing himself at Gabby, to bury himself in the boil’s arms, as if by doing so he could somehow hide and become invisible to the world. He couldn't believe the things he had said, as his mind raced over the events of the past half-hour. The poor undead wasn't even aware his voice could reach such a decibel level, and he was surely going to be a little hoarse tomorrow. The comedown from a sparkle-high was not something to be trifled with. Nio Love heheheheheheheheh spot the pun

He bent low to murmur beside her ear, and the thrill of his words made her hesitate for just a second, one foot lagging behind the other so her next step wasn't the elegant slide that it should have been. She blinked, eyes flicking up before dropping again. Positive there was more emotion reflected in that silver and gold then she would willingly share. Instead she slide a little closer, the hand that had rested against his arm trailing down until it was a soft weight against his chest. It was a little too close for the neat little sway they had been doing, but just dandy for the unexpected flutter in her chest. It wasn't as though she hadn't realized her feelings for the stallion were growing, but every so often something little would remind her, and she would avert her eye, nervous that the play of vulnerability across ebony features would disrupt the peaceful balance that they had forged between them. It didn't matter her feelings, really. Whether it be her bed that he came to, or her body he protected, she wouldn't ask him such serious, binding questions. Not unless she could be sure of the answers. It was safer to do nothing, to wait, or to continue on as they were. She was a practical mare, sharing his company made her happy. Tonight, his company was her's. Beyond that? Worries for another day. When she thought she had her control of those delicate features again she looked up, meeting deep red eyes. ------------------------------------ "i'm having a great time, thanks for inviting me to help out the band." It wasn't just the dancing, though certainly that played a part. The ghoul had found a kindred spirit in Terra, and she simply adored the rest of the boils. The opportunity provided an excellent means to make a few more friends, and that was invaluable. "How about you," she asked, grinning as they swayed and moved around the dance floor, Yaya taking the lead so their rotations were sharp and crisp. The long tail of her braid wrapping about the both of them.

Zel looked up at the horseman who approached and opened his mouth to reply to him when the full implications of his statement hit home. His eyes widened about three sizes and he immdeately stepped a proper distance away from Tavi, hands coming up in front of him to wave in denial. "No, no, no... Tavi here isn't my erm... date. He lost his date and I was just making sure he was okay - he's a friend of mine." He chuckled sheepishly and looked down at his phone, debating on shooting Amarus another text to let her know he was getting dragged off to the games by Tavi. It would be the proper thing to do as a boilfriend he supposed... But... If she came and tried to drag him away from Tavi before Tavi was completely fine - it would ruin his friend's night and Zel didn't want to wreck prom for the poor boil. This internal debate went on as Tavi spoke - even though Zel was paying attention. Chewing his cheek a little he finally brought up his phone and fired off a quick text again. Face your demons Text to Amarus: Hey Ghoulie, your boil again. Friend is dragging me off to go do some boil-to-boil bonding. You're welcome to join us - gonna be at the games! Still want you to save a dance for me. <3 <3 <3 He hoped to Jack that was enough hearts... "Yeah, alright, let's go!" Zel chuckled, turning his head to Yves. "You coming? Since you seem to know Tavi I assume you're friends? Alright, let's go!"He turned toward the game area and made his way out the main tent. [EXIT]

Mot chuckled a little bashfully at Bella, rubbing his neck in a gesture of humbleness. How was is he seemed to befriend such forward ghouls? Oh well. He did so enjoy their boisterous company. "Ah, Gene? Well, she hasn't arrived yet. Something is keeping her. But of course I'll have a dance with you." His head turned to Hel, to whom he also gave a light chuckle. "I'm sorry, Hel. You do look stunning, despite the obvious overexposure of your bosom. But I am somewhat accustomed to that... And I will have a dance with you as well, but.." Something about her attire put him off. It wasn't that it was men's clothes. It was terribly familiar though... "Hmm.. never mind. It is nothing. I would love nothing more than to dance with you both."He smiled, reaching across the table for Helmut, "Which is it you're reaching for, little lady?"Due to this distraction, he had yet to be able to 'save' his two female companions from the clutches of Lou.... Yet. >:I

"Well... honestly? I prefer not havin' a date," Roch told her, letting her lead. She was the better dancer, anyway. "I can dance with whoever I like, don't haveta worry about them doin' stupid s**t in the middle of the dance--and there ain't any drama. I got a lot of pals I wanna grab for a dance, and no jealousy problems. Plus, seriously, I'm on stage half the night. Only so much time to grab with my pals."

Helmut's fingers froze when she saw someone's shadow, just before a hand reached over hers. Her ears were down again and her eyes wide in terror, sliding her gaze to the side to risk a glance at the tall boil who was trying to help. She chewed very carefully on the mouthful of sliced piggle in her mouth, and tried to swallow it as discreetly as possible.
"Those please" She pointed at the purple fries and hot sauce, which was just out of the reach of her claws.

N'awwwwww~ Ickle babbu! Mot smiled softly, using his long limbs to his advantage and pulling the desired plate closer to Helmut. It wasn't often he came across such timid students. All his friends were always... well. Present company proved an example. "There you are." Good deed, complete! "Maybe next year you should consider requesting step stools for the vertically challenged of Amity, eh?" He jested lightly with a grin.
