I giggle as I feel this warm sensation. I try to figure out what I can do with it, so that it's not just gathering there until The Mentor speaks again.

He slowly put his hand to the earth and tried to see if he could feel the area around him farther by using this new thing he had been taught.

That explained it. That was why I didn't see the mana before. Instead of flowing with my blood, it was moving inside the void the Mentor had said to envision. It feels like it can and wants to steal anything it can from everyone and anyone, but instead of testing that out, I decide to try altering it's flow and concentration. I try to get the mana to gather in my right hand, just to see what happened. Even just to see if I can.

I open my eyes and look around, trying to view what creature that I managed to summon. It struck me a little odd that no comment was made about it, however, though perhaps the whole point of the exercise was learning at our own pace?

Neeché:
The warm and energetic feeling of the mana makes it seem like you could easily manifest the energy as fire. Other than that, it is hard to determine any more uses other than physical manifestation by yourself. You do remember that The Mentor mentioned another stage of training after you are comfortable with moving the mana around.
Krin:
Touching the grounds lets you detect the massive amount of green mana coming from the earth and also from the trees that are nearby. From what you can tell, green mana seems to be the most abundant. However, this doesn't seem to extend the range of your sense at all other than letting you get a feel for just how much green mana there is in the area.
Valden:
The mana moves very easily for you and floods into your right hand. The high concentration of mana in one spot makes your hand start to feel a little numb from the overpowering sensation of the mana. Other than this physical sensation, nothing else seems to be happening yet from moving the mana all to your hand.
Mystra:
When you open your eyes to look around, you notice that the creature you summoned is merely a rabbit. It is looking at you intently and curiously, in a way that somewhat unnerves you. With your eyes open, you also see that the Mentor is over at another area with some other learning apparatuses and some of the other students that seem to have joined him on their own accord. Apparently you are learning at your own pace now and are free to move on when you feel ready.

He smiled this would be useful in its own right, he decided to try and now manipulate the earth around him a bit, mainly right in front of him, he focused and tried to create a small replica of what was most important to him, what ever that may have been, he wanted to see if his mind was different from his heart and he figured this was the easiest way.

I smile at my little success and let the fire disperse back into mana. I then open my eyes and look around, ready for more.

I am glad that the mana seems to move and flow with no issues. With mana of that sort, it would probably be dangerous to not have control. After a moment, i decide to try to move a small amount of the mana to my other hand, trying to project it through the air to my other hand, without opening my eyes, trying to feel the mana if it moved.
(I wont be around over the next few days, as I will be without internet. I apologise, I will try to hook up to local internet whenever I can. sorry all.)

Krin:
The mana in the earth starts to converge slightly at where you are focusing, but doesn't seem to affect the physical ground or create anything. The energy simply hangs around there doing nothing. You aren't sure if it is because your mind is needed to give form or if there simply isn't enough mana to have an effect yet.
Mystra:
While you have a natural affinity with plants, you simply lack the ability to effectively commune with animals and your attempt to charm the rabbit is completely fruitless. However, the rabbit seems somewhat attached to you anyway and gets a bit closer to you.
Neeché:
The Mentor and 5 other students are over at an area that is set up like a firing range. At the close end there are some odd stones you don't recognize while the far end has a bunch of targets and dummies set up. There are still plenty of open stations where you could seemingly join in.
Valden:
In contrast of how easily you could flow the mana into your hand, it seems very reluctant to leave your body, even just to take a short trip through the air. However, a little bit does manage to leave and go through the air to your other hand, leaving a stinging feeling in your right hand as it leaves.

He sighed and punched the ground, wanting his fist to be covered in rock, he figured if he was gonna use the earth he might as well use it for stealth or as a weapon.

I clench my hand into a fist at the stinging, but I am satisfied at the results since I was able to sense the man's shifting through the air. As a quick test, I let the concentrated mana return to its natural flow, then try to slow that flow, while simultaneously trying to extend this sense of mana outwards, to see what I would see.

The rabbit is an albino with no really distinguishing features. The Mentor notices you speaking up and walks on over to you. "Ah, impressive. You've figured out how to do basic summoning all by yourself?" He asks in a surprised tone. "You just keep impressing me more and more... feel free to join us over there for some more formal magic training when you're ready." he adds, pointing over to a sort o firing range set up not too far away, which he then starts walking back to.
Neeché:
At the station, there are six different stones. They are Oval shaped and have strange designs etched into them. Shortly after you approach, the Mentor walks up to you. "Ah, ready to move on? Let me explain what's going on here." He says as he picks up one of the stones. "These are special stones that have been designed to hold and produce a very large amount of mana of a certain color. It should be easy for you now to detect it. Each one contains mana of it's corresponding color. Almost everyone has an affinity for one or two different kinds of mana, so pick whichever color or colors resonate with you most aand practice with them. Right now, we're starting with basic manifestation and target practice. Each color of mana can be easily converted into it's corresponding physical form, such as fire for red mana or water for blue mana. So, what I'd like you to do is pick a color to work with, extract that mana from the corresponding stone, manifest it into a physical form, and try projecting the resulting spell at one of the targets down range. Understood?"
Krin:
Once again nothing seems to happen and you just end up punching the ground normally. Luckily the dirt is soft and you don't end up hurting yourself, but you'll probably need more instruction before you can do anything else it seems. The mana inside your body quickly returns to its natural flow. You are also able to slow down the flow as easily as you were able to direct it. As you focus on projecting your sense outward, you start to detect the different colors of mana coming from the world around you, mostly sensing yellow mana coming from the air and green mana coming from the earth.
