Firion looked over, only to see a lifeless body. No, he remembered this body. He took a closer look to see that it was Re'nah, the jackal woman who saved them from the Dark Elf's undead army. He turned back to the others for a moment then back at the body to see Sierra take the body away. He kept his gaze on Re'nah while he muttered something in his foreign language.
After everyone left the castle he followed behind, but instead of following the others back to the caravan he turned away and walked down the path to the blacksmith, he wished he could do something more but... all that seemed to matter to him was the object he had been working so hard to create. As he made his way through the city, watching as bodies were carried away, a familiar voice echoed through his mind, "My dear Firion, please dont be dissapointed with yourself... nothing you could have done would have brought your friend back." the dragon didnt respond for a moment before he sighed, "Yes... I know Plisoiv di Tobor*, but I wish I could have done something... at least said something before she passed on..." the feminine voice could only remain silent as her follower responded, "I know how you feel... you lost so much, but you can't save everyone. Even I couldnt save the one I loved." she said in a gentle, but sad tone. The dragon didnt respond, "I'll leave you alone for the time being Firion, but don't carry her death with you. She is at peace now..." with that she left his mind and left Firion walking alone down the city.

Sierra had not noticed that Hunter was at the entrance til he spoke, she looked up at him, and watched as he made his way over to a chair, then looked back down to the ground. "I have already shed my tears," She looked away and over towards the cot Re'nah rested upon, "Back at the castle, and I simply feel it my duty to watch over her til she was given the burial she deserved." She sighed and looked away, "However I would like someone to watch over her, magic wards or no I do not trust that dark elf."
Sierra was about to doze off when Zanth entered, she looked up at him he apologized and saw the tears streaming down his face. "There is no need to be sorry Zanth, though she is before us now she has passed on long ago. However now she has passed on to a more peaceful place where the dark one cannot reach her." She leaned her head back against the pole she had been leaning on in silence then dozed off to a light sleep once more.

Hunter just nodded as Sierra spoke to him and then Zanth as the goblin made his way into the tent and joined them. When she had finished speaking he turned to Zanth and saw the bandages and well as the tears.
"She's right you know," He said in a low whisper and nodded towards Sierra, "You don't have anything to apologize for, you didn't cause this disgrace to our friend and her memory."
Hunter sighed and turned back to face Re'nah's body. "If anything I should be the one saying I'm sorry," He muttered through clenched teeth, "I couldn't help her both times and barely saved your life in the fight with the hounds...I-I'm sorry"
The only outward signs of Hunter's emotions were his clenched fists and the two small lines of water running down his face as a couple more small tears escaped from his eyes when the memory of the derelict town and the nightmares flooded his mind

Her bronze-gold colored scales glittered in the sunlight as she glided over the castle looking down where the once glass covered throne room lay. A growl came from her chest as she looked upon the destruction that had been wreaked within. She let out a great roar of anger, then turned and glided towards the city so much has happened here, she wondered if she had gotten here sooner if she would have been able to change the tide. She spotted the populated area covered with tents and a large number of wounded she circled once overhead then. Spiraling downwards she began her descent, when she was close enough she transformed into her more humanoid form. After her transformation she fashioned her wings so that she floated down to the ground, upon landing she folded her wings tight to her body and wrapped them in a fashion that it would appear as a long leathery looking cloak. She walked down the line of tents and spoke aloud, yet quiet enough not to disturb those wounded who were resting. "I would like to speak to whoever is in charge here."

Zanth shook his head. "You saved me when you could have left me there, don't apologize for that." He said wrapping an arm around his stomach as if to hide the bandages. "I don't know what happened to her before, but whatever happened wasn't your fault and you couldn't change what happened no matter when you did...this is the fault of the Dark King, and it always will be, he is the one to blame not yourself." again Zanth almost told the both of them about his betrayal, but he just couldn't find the courage. Instead her stood, weaving to the right a little before balancing himself and moved out of the tent.
He almost made it back to his tent when his head snapped up and saw a large Dragon flying towards them before turning into a woman who called for the people in charge. he looked around as everyone shifted around, he knew they were looking for Grandmother, but she was gone again, and Vestakia was asleep. Zanth stepped forward. "I speak for Her, she is attending other business at present. But perhaps i could be of help?" He asked trying to keep his voice steady and strong.

Soturi had also noticed the people's movements as the searched for someone who she assumed was their leader, then she heard someone speak up and she turned to see one of goblin-kind speak to her. Turning she made her way over to him and studied him closely before answering him, seeing that he was telling the truth she nodded and her expression softened a little bit. "I am Soturi, blade smith and warrior from the Dragon Isle of Serpents Fang. The King's son's themselves have brought word to us that we are to prepare for war, and I am one who happened to arrive first." She waved around her, "What has happened here? Where is the King?" ((I didn't know if the sons would have known about their father the King's disappearance soo....))

Hunter just listened as Zanth responded and before he could say something back the goblin left and he turned back to watch Rae and Sierra when his ears twitched as he heard the dragon wings in the air and the voice calling out for the person in charge of the caravan, he hadn't seen Vestakia or the old elf anywhere so he walked to the tent's door and was about to respond when he saw the goblin stand up and claim temporary leadership
Well, this should be interesting,Hunter thought to himself as he watched the dragoness land and walk over to him, Let's see if he has what it takes to talk tough. He just smiled to himself as he listened to the conversation, ready to step in if she asked about the himself and the other champions that were with him.

Zanth could tell the Dragon was studying him and he almost curled into himself, his moment of bravery faltering slightly but he just took a mental breath he would have to pretend he was still the old trouble making Goblin from three years ago, the one who would hear of a hunted home and run right into it to see if he could spot the specter for himself. he stood a little straighter, wincing as his wound twinged, but he didn't care right now. "Lady Soturi." he began with a bow in the formal way of the elves ignoring the pain again. "I am Zanth Ravenwood, Son of Lord Nevian Ravenwood and friend of the fairy folk of the Forgotten Forests." He responded back to her formal introduction, though his face was grim. "The Demon King has taken him, We-myself and the escaped champions, couldn't do anything to stop him, a portal was opened and his creatures attacked us as a distraction while he subdued the King, I was injured at the time, so I was not there myself, but people talk." he offered the best explanation he had, and it was all the truth, he just left out his involvement but he was pretending to be someone else, Zanth Ravenwood, not Zanth the traitor so it was easy to pretend he didn't do anything wrong.

Soturi listened as Zanth introduced himself and explained what had happened here. She had heard tales of the Demon King and what he was capable of, but she did not think he could be powerful enough to capture the Dragon King and take him away. She gave a half smile to the Goblin and slightly dipped her head towards him, "Greetings to you Zanth Ravenwood, this is most disturbing this news you tell me." Her smile faded, "So the King has been kidnapped..." She looked up to the sky as she thought for many moments, "I was told there were to be a meeting with our allied kingdoms, I wonder of them if they had been taken as well." Soturi returned her attention to Zanth with a questioning look then spoke once more. "But first I would like to know more of these escaped champions you speak of, escaped from what or who may I ask?" She had a thought that perhaps they were once prisoners of this Demon King, but she would like to know the details before assuming anything.

"They escaped from the Demon King's Arena, there were five champions, but two perished before they even made it to Argonos. There is also a lycan here, Vestakia, she escaped from his castle dungeons." He told her, still leaving out that he had also been down there, he still hadn't told the others either. it was understandable how Vestakia had escaped, they would question how he did it on the other hand, a weak goblin creature. "I'm not sure about the Elven Ambassadors or the Dwarven king and his sons as I was not there myself and I have just recently woken, but I am sure from my knowledge of the Dark King that they are dead." he replied solemnly. "Perhaps the Champions could tell you more..." his attention turned to Hunter who he saw standing at the entrance of the tent and he waved him over for a little help with the situation, Zanth could only give her assumptions without it looking suspicious how he knew so much without one of them telling him everything. he had known of the plan and every detail in it.

For the first part of who Hunter assumed was the humanoid form of the dragon and the owner of the voice he had heard earlier and Zanth's conversation he just stayed where he was and listened to it, he wasn't much for the formal talking and introduction of leaders, but it just seemed to be something that they had been doing a lot of lately...especially with the dragon-kind. It was when Zanth was explaining not just his story, but Hunter's and the others champions as well that made his ears perk up, eyes focus on the conversation and fur at the tip of his tails stand on end.
When he made the gesture for Hunter to join him, he just shook his head and gave a slight nod towards the tent that he was standing inside, but that didn't mean that he wasn't going to say something to help the goblin.
"The goblin is right Lady Soturi," He said, loud enough for them to hear from where he was standing, "I am Hunter Skye, a warrior from the Frostburne kitsune clan in the outlands northwest of the dark king's city and one of the escaped 'champions' from its arena. My friends and I escaped from the arena about four months ago, but before we could get very far we were attacked and not all of us survived..." He paused and gave a slight bow, doing his best to be as formal as he could and frankly not liking it, "One of those that died so that we could escape was used by the dark king's magic as part of the attack on the city today, she was defeated after he made his escape and is here now so that she can be properly buried this time..."
Hunter did his best to keep his emotions in check as to prevent another outburst like the one he had with the Dragon King a couple weeks earlier, "I apologize my lady, but before Vestakia, myself, or any of the other champions could stop him, the dark king had killed most of the elven ambassadors and disappeared along with your kin."

Soturi listened as Zanth explained the Champions story to her, then looked over as the Goblin motioned to another who introduced himself as Hunter Skye and confirmed the Goblins tale. She frowned upon hearing of the fate of the ambassadors, "Greatly disturbing news indeed. If this is so then messengers must be dispatched to the Elven and Dwarf Kingdoms immediately. They must know of this, surely now they will join Argonos in this war." The frown deepened, then lessened as she looked to the Goblin and his injuries then to Hunter who appeared well worn out as well, she turned so that she faced the Kitsune and slightly bowed her head like she had with the Goblin, "'Tis a pleasure to meet you Hunter Skye, even during such dire conditions. And I am sorry for your loss, they must have been a very close friend to you." She bowed to him to show her sympathy. To both of them, "And there is no need to call me 'Lady' I do not care much for tittles, please, call me Soturi." She smiled to them, then sighed as they stood in a few moments of silence.
She was but a hatchling the last time she had been to the City and she did not know where to begin looking for messengers especially as everything was in chaos after the Dark King's attack. And since the Goblin was the temporary leader she wondered if she should wait til the permanent leader to present themselves before she sent out any messengers to said kingdoms. After a long decision she sighed and came back to herself, "I suppose I should wait til your leader presents themselves before and messengers had been sent to the kingdoms." Especially if said leader had already sent their own messengers already.
"I will wander around for awhile lending my help anywhere its needed, I shall return shortly to see if your leader has come back.. or awoken.. yet." She smiled to them both, "Besides you both look like you need your rest." She looked to Zanth, "Would this be alright with you?"

The silver dragon had reached the blacksmith a few minutes earlier and had gotten straight back to work, he knew that he should be with the others, helping them with the injured and planning Re'nah's burial, but he felt as if the mysterious object he was creating was more important. The battle with the Dark Elf had gone too far and he wouldnt stand for it, he had lost two comrads a few months ago and even his brother-in-arms and today he lost a friend who he had assumed was dead. Thoughts of ending this war echoed through his mind after each bang of his hammer striking the metal.
A distance away from the castle, a small group was making their way to the now ruined city. This group seemed like a trading group, maybe even smaller but each one kept their forms hidden, and they had a good reason of doing so. When one of the figures* noticed the destroyed city it vanished into thin air, only to reappear at the top of the outer wall of the city, "Brothers, I am sad to say that we have come too late..." he said through its own telepathic abilities. "Wait here. I want to make sure it is clear for us to enter." with that it vanished once more and reappeared on the ground inside the city, the destruction horrified it, the bodies being carried away and the lifeless ones on the streets reminded it too much of its own home. When someone ran by it quickly grabbed the man's arm, "I need to find someone, tell me where I can find the dragon." its said quickly, its voice sounding as though it belonged to a young male, maybe in his older teen years. The man quickly replied back saying they are probably holding him at the medical camp and with that the figure dissappeared once more. It took him a moment to find the camp, but after warping himself onto the top of a watchtower he found the place he was searching for. With what energy he had left he vanished yet again, but to conserve it he only warped to the ground below. After a moment of running he made his way into the camp, quickly pushing himself through the crowd, eager to find the draconic being that had called him. He searched every tent, asked every person, but with no luck. He had nearly given up on his search until he found a... what he thought was a goblin and a young female. "Maybe they know where he is..." he thought as he made his way to the two.
*I couldnt find a way to add it, but the figure is wearing a brown leather cloak with a unique pack that only covers the upper back and has a large scroll-like item along with many small compartments to hold his more... "special" items.

Zanth just smiled tiredly at the Dragoness placing a hand over his abdomen as it protested against him. "I would rest, but with my magic i could probably help out around here, it's the least i can do for now." he sighed and ran a hand through his wild lions mane of hair. The ringing returned to his ears, but Zanth showed no outward reaction as he heard it, but he knew the message within as if the Dark King had spoken to him directly. "If you wish I could send the messages, it will be faster then someone on horseback or even from the air." he offered placing his hands in front of him and taking a deep breath before pushing some of his fairy magic forward and creating a small white light that formed into the shape of a fairy his chest burned again with the use of the light magic, but his wincing was masked by the fact he was already injured. "See? i used this method a lot when i visited the Forgotten Forests and had to keep reminding my mother I wasn't going to get eaten out there." he said smiling at the memories. "Just tell me when you want to say and I'll relay it back to her."
