Penelope Mikelovitch Penelope shook her head again. "N-n-no. I'm fine, really. Just n-need a mo..." She smiled at Susan, trying her hardest not to shiver. It was certainly an odd storm, coming in the season it did. She hadn't thought she would have to break out any sorts of warm clothing for months to come... would she still not be able to change in the months to come? The thought depressed her.
"A-ah, that's a shame." Penelope frowned. "S-so, the rest of your family d-don't... ah, d-don't look like you? The ears and the t-tail, I mean." A waiter dropped off her tea for her, and she gratefully took the cup, taking a long draft (which scalded her tongue) but filled the rest of her body with warmth. She couldn't help sighing in relief as the heat helped her relax her tensed muscles and hunched shoulders. Of course, for the tea to really work its charm, she took a few more long drafts before even thinking of speaking again. "I... It may sound odd coming from me, but I can certainly relate with... stupid siblings." She frowned. "I don't think I can remember ever not being annoyed with Pierce... but my parent's never tried to hide me or anything, so I guess I'm ah... lucky right?"

"It is a shame, I always wanted to go out, I was only ever allowed in my back yard, and it was small and secluded." Susan said and pouted for a moment. Penelope had another brother! "2 brothers! So Pierce and Percy.. Wow, you parents must like names that start with the letter P. My siblings just had Japanese names, no L's though. since it isn't even in the Japanese language" Susan said and managed to get onto the subject of the Japanese language. "No one else in my family looks like me, except for my granny, she is the person I got these from. Everyone here seems to really like them!" Susan said and went to sip at her tea, it was gone though. "Aw. My tea is gone.. I'll be back in a moment" Susan said and made her way to the counter and ordered another tea and 2 cookies. One for her and one for Penelope.
"Ahh. Here we go" Susan said as she came back with a cup of tea and 2 chocolate chip cookies. "There, a cookie for me and you" Susan said and grabbed her cookie and pushed the plate forward to her friend.

Young Master Oz Vessalius Romane Bissette xHaving just the vision is no solution, Everything depends on execution! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ She hadn't really given him time to respond, but Romane was certain he would arrive. There was no reason why he wouldn't want to, after all, unless he was working.. But it was the weekend and she had recalled seeing him inside a classroom teaching several times during her rounds – so, she doubted he was so busy he couldn't carry his paperwork with him to meet her for coffee. She should probably be working herself, but, after yesterday, she was kind enough to give everyone – herself included – a small break. The meeting should take little time, after all, and Romane could watch for students from within the cafe. Still, even with those thoughts, she tapped her foot impatiently to the pavement as she stood outside of it, arms folded, and eyes constantly swerving around the streets in search of the man who had caught her interest the other day. It was almost noon – a few minutes and it would have passed.. She wouldn't be happy if he was late.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ You improve and refine, xxxx And refine each improvement!xxxxx

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________Severin did not want to leave his dorm at all. His eye was in pain which kept his face at a permanent frown. His glowering probably made him look like he was in some kind of gang and the obvious black eye didn't help his case either.
However, he was forced to get up since he recalled that some lady decided to call him out to have some coffee. He would not decline coffee, but he figured that perhaps it was a business meeting between teachers or something. In truth, he seriously had no clue.
He was just glad that he had an excuse to get away from Sylth. He entered the cafe and saw the woman from yesterday that called him out here. "Hello." Severin said flatly to her. "Hopefully you weren't waiting long." He hoped she would just ignore the black eye and just get to the point. Or Severin should just get some coffee and try to forget about how much bad luck went his way. ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "

Romane Bissette xHaving just the vision is no solution, Everything depends on execution! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Ah, finally! Romane had started counting the seconds he was late by the time he appeared, but the black eyes distracted her from the numbers that were really starting to add up. ..She didn't remember that when she had invited him to coffee. But, perhaps her memory was off? If anything, it just reminded her that he had been the only one in the battle the other day to do anything successful.
“I was. However, the point is that you're here now. Come in.” She gestured to him to follow as she walked inside, talking as she went since it was much faster to get their conversation started now than to wait until after they sat down. “I don't believe we've been introduced – I'm Romane, a security officer at the school. You're a teacher, Archaic Sciences or Spell-Casting, I believe?” She couldn't remember which one, but it had something to do with magic, she knew. “Have you been working at the school for long?”▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ You improve and refine, xxxx And refine each improvement!xxxxx

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________Severin followed the woman, a bit baffled with why she asked him to coffee. He could be doing better things like... sleeping and trying to forget he even had a black eye. And of all people, why would the security guard want to talk to him.
"Er... and my name is Severin. I am the spell casting teacher...but I'm also the English teacher which is what I emphasize most in rather than spell casting." Severin answered. "Ah... and I haven't been working in Rosentale for very long. I've just started some month or two ago, but I'm already used to the school... and the different creatures that inhabit it."
"And what of you? Have you recently transferred to Rosentale?" Yes. Of course. It would be much easier to get her to start talking about herself. That way Severin wouldn't have to listen as long as he looked like he was. ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "

Romane Bissette xHaving just the vision is no solution, Everything depends on execution! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Ah, he taught two classes! That was certainly bonus points! Romane had went on to the register to order and pay for two coffees for them, not wasting time to acknowledge what he said with anything more than a 'hm'. Well, not until he asked her something, that is. “Yes. I have.” She waited a moment for the coffee to be poured before taking them and handing one off to Severin.
“I enjoy you, Severin. You appear to be the only person in school who really has any drive in his own work, your accomplishments the other day far exceeds that of everyone else on staff, my own included, and you're pleasant in both appearance and demeanor.” She took a moment to have a small sip of the coffee, enjoying the excessive heat – it helped wake her up! She went on quickly, “I've decided to count you as a friend and you will do the same back to me. If you have any problems in the school, you're permitted to call on me to take care of them.” That said and done with, she gave him a quick good bye, thanked him for showing up, and left to continue on with her work.
[Exit Romane]

Percy gave his sister a surprised look. "Really? You'll do it?""Sure." Persephone leaned back in her chair, sipping her coffee. "I mean, it was fun messing with you while it lasted, but I never actually expected you to get up the nerve to tell me what's what. It's kind of refreshing actually." She set down her mug and gave her sibling a speculative look. "You sure though? I mean, you won't be able to look anyone in the eye again. Why would you want to have to worry about randomly transforming again?""It's not so much that I want to transform again, I just don't want you to be the one to choose if and when I do." Percy said bluntly. "Fair enough" Persephone laughed. She gently tugged the earring out of her right ear. "Well, I'll give you till the end of the day to find someone to help you switch. I'll do the same in the meantime, give some bloke on the street the heart attack of his life or something. So... Gotta ask, do you like... being a girl more than a guy then?""Wh-what? No!" Percy blushed. "I just... I have some business to take care of... as a girl... currently." He stared into his teacup, unwilling to say anything further. "Right..." Persephone grinned. "Well, I'm gonna let you get to it then." She stood, stretching. "Take care of my coffee bill would you? I think it's the least you can do." [exit]

Oh goody, Susan had plans with Percy at the cafe. Susan walked to the front of the cafe and saw Percy sitting inside, and she noticed Persephone walk out as she arrived. Susan opened the door of the cafe and made her way over to Percy. "Percy!" she said and nearly tackle hugged her friend sitting in the seat.
Susan let go of Percy and sat down with him. "So. How are you?" she asked and looked happily at her friend with a smile playing her lips.

"Gah!" Percy yelped in surprise as Susan tackled him. He flushed a bright red. Okay, so he really had no idea how to deal with his feelings as a boy anymore. He had spent a little too much time getting used to being a girl it appeared. Now he was gonna have to get used to how to react when girls... er... glomped him.
Or not. He had also spent a little bit too much time being able to look into people's eyes as well. As soon as he could make eye contact with her, he did, accidentally of course. Actually, it was what he wanted as well, part of his theory as to how to get control of his transformations back. "Ah!" She hunched over fro a second, biting her lip as her body shifted. "Guh... ah... H-hi." She smiled awkwardly, glancing left and right. Didn't seem like anyone really noticed in the Cafe. Well, there wasn't really anyone else in the cafe at the moment.
"I'm... oh." She pinched a bit of her hair in between her fingers. "It's gone brown again... huh... Oh! Ah, I'm good. Just had a little chat with my sister about... things. How are you?"

As Susan tackled Percy he went a bright red colour. Cute. Susan giggled. Then when he looked at her he turned into a girl again. Susan was so amazed by the whole thing, it was just so cool! "Wow... That looks so cool!" Susan blurted out.
"Good that you are good, I am good too!" she said and smiled at Penelope. "So. Does the gender change thing happen whenever you look at someone who is the opposite gender of you. Does it get annoying? Like, changing back and fourth all the time?" Susan asked and looked at Penelope with a look of interest, she didn't even care that she hadn't told her about her 'condition', instead she was really fascinated.
Oh right, they were in a cafe. Susan didn't know if she wanted tea or coffee.. Hmm.. Tea!!

Penelope blinked in surprise. "Um... Yeah. Something like that." Wow, that was a very observant... observation. "I ah, well. Usually when... I usually end up switching whenever I look someone of the opposite, er, gender, in the eye. It's... ah... It's definitely a nuisance at times... I mean, it's a complicate deal and stuff. N-not that I can't tell you about it... or anything. It just might take a while. Hurts a bit too, and it's not just my body that changes..."
She trailed off, staring into her teacup. Huh. It was like with Tshila (who thankfully, felt like just a friend again.) As soon as someone asked about her condition, she would run on talking about it forever. It was like a long kept secret... except it wasn't really a secret anymore.

As Penelope explained how she changed Susan looked at her and nodded. This was really interesting. As Penelope said that everything changes, not just her body. "Does that mean you go from.. like, a male brain to female?" Susan asked. It seemed legitimate.
Susan noticed Penelope looking in her teacup. Susan really wanted tea."Do you want more tea?" Susan asked and noticed she hadn't asked the lady at the counter for anything. Oops.

"Er... yeah." Penelope said, looking up at Susan and smiling nervously. "Pretty much. It's a bit odd, I mean, When I'm a boy I'm not the most ah... masculine person, but I'm definitely male. I like, well, girls and ah, cars and action movies and whatever guys like I guess. But when I'm a girl, well..." She shrugged. "I like boys and... and shopping, and... stuff. You get the picture. It's almost like being two different people. I even remember things differently depending on my gender. Like, if I did something as a girl, then changed into a guy, I'd still remember it as if I was a girl... it ah... yeah. Still confuses even me."
She blinked as Susan asked about her tea. "Oh... ah... Yeah, I should get more tea. Have you ordered yet?"

Someone was opening up to Susan, for once she had a friend. This made Susan ever so happy, but if someone tried to hurt Penelope. Susan would make sure they never go near her again.
As Penelope explained how she changes Susan was intrigued. Though Susan figured it would make it hard for her to have a relationship. Which was a shame for Penelope. Susan liked both genders so she wouldn't care if the person she was with was a girl or boy.
Oh right, the tea. Susan shook her head. "I never did order anything, I can go and ask for more tea. What kind do you want? The herbal stuff, or real tea?" she asked and stood up and put her hands on the table and leaned on it, poking her butt out slightly. Her tail was swaying slightly and her ears twitching every now and again.
