xxxxx River was born to a group of people freer than Amurica itself. They had no love for government or the proverbial man and really only cared about having a good time. Skill name: Masterful dragon riding Rank: C (Passive) Limits: Adept rank; Dragon mount required Skill description: The dragoon must spend a considerable amount of time riding on their dragon, and must know how to ride on them from every single part of the dragon without falling off. This takes a considerable amount of time to do, but once accomplished the dragoon will be able to accomplish incredible feats, such as holding onto a single dragon spine with one hand while your dragon is in an upside down position mid flight, whilst still being able to use your weapon proficiently.
Skill name: Beastial Leap Rank: E - C Skill description: This skill is the most basic and most used of the dragoon class. with it, the dragoon can close the distance between him and his target with rediculous ease and speed. for E ranked energy, they can leap a maximum of twenty feet, and that's from a standing position. At D rank, they can leap fifty feet. And at C rank, they can easily jump from mountain top to mountain top, as described in the class description.
Skill name: Telepathy Rank: E (Passive) Limits: Novice rank, must have aquired the dragon Skill description: As the name implies, it is a simple form of telepathy between you and your dragon. Thoughts, images, emotions, sounds... pretty much anything can be felt in this link, and it is a constant link. If the dragon is hurt, the dragoon can sense it, and vice versa. This however, also prevents the two from lying to each other, as they can see what the other is truly thinking.
Skill name: Aerial Launch Rank: E-C Limits: C ranked version requires adept rank. Skill description: One of the simplest skills of the Dragoon, by augmenting their legs with certain amounts of energy, they can jump several feet into the air, based on the amount of energy they use. At E rank the User can jump around twenty feet into the air, an impressive height indeed. at D rank, this jump is upgraded to around 50 feet. And at C rank the dragoon is said to have been able to jump as high as dragons can fly, easily overtaking the beasts in their own dominion.
Skill name: Dragon sight Rank: D Skill description: In order to use this skill, the Dragoon must be in close proximity with their dragon. Closing their eyes and establishing an even stronger mental link between themselves and the dragon, They can see the world as a dragon does. Upon opening their eyes, their pupils will be slitted like a reptiles and they will see beings by their heat signatures, not by sight alone. Useful against illusions, or people attempting to sneak up on them.

Crashing Waves Rank: C Requirements: Adept Rank Description: You bash your shield forward twice, really putting a lot of power and force into the second bash. The first bash is simply meant to stop an enemy's sword and push it off course, delaying their ability to pop back into a ready stance to defend or attack again. The second shield bash will send enemies with a strength rating lower than yours on tumbling backwards onto their a**. Anybody with a strength rating equal to or greater than yours will simply be sent staggering. After the second bash, you will do a lightning quick spin before stabbing your spear into your opponent, the momentum of the strike easily able to puncture thick (but crudely crafted) steel.
Viper's Bite v1 Rank: D Requirements: Energy Description: You throw your spear in an extremely straight and accurate path. This attack speeds up the spear considerably, giving the spear the speed of an arrow. While the spear is extremely difficult to dodge in this stage, it is still possible if the opponent is very fast, with supernatural reflexes.
Cobra's Bite Rank: C Description: The user ducks underneath a horizontal slashing or swinging attack, simaltaneously slamming the bottom lip of their shield down onto the toes of the opponent, completely shattering the bones in the toes and making the opponent's guard open up. As soon as the opponent's guard opens (Because who wouldn't at least partially open their guard after having every bone in their foot smashed?) they stab the spear upwards into the target. this stab can be aimed at the opponent's Torso, or their midsection. No face shots.
Python's Bite Rank: C Description: When confronted with a vertical slash, the user will move one foot behind the other and sidestep, shifting their center line and allowing the strike to move past their body by mere inches with their spear arm facing the target. They then stab their spear directly at the target in retaliation, attempting to run the enemy through while he is still completing the downwards slash. Obviously if the vertical attack is too wide to sidestep (a GIGANTIC ball of fire, a dragon's tail, etc.) you will still probably get hit by it.
Will Breaker Rank: C Requires: Energy Description: Useful when somebody swings a sword or other weapon at you. Instead of blocking the attack with your shield, you meet it with the shaft of your spear. When the weapons clash in the air you parry the enemy's weapon to either the left or to the right before stabbing forward. The parry will leave opponents who are not equipped with a shield or another weapon practically defenseless, as it leaves their entire body open to attack.

Her and her dragon, Intet, have always had great synchronization, matched only by her older brother Mirian. While growing up he learned bits and pieces about the Elvish homeland, and about the Elvish culture, but he was also taught the ways the Humans believed the world was created and the teachings of their ways. After several years he gave up on a scholarly life and choose to enter the Academy and fight. Despite his physical appearance looking young, he was an excellent fighter with the sword, and a superb marksman with the gun.
Personality: Ariel in comparison to her sister is much more tame. While she believes evil things must perish she isn't as quick to assume a Vampire or another is evil just because of its nature. If her sisters deem otherwise Ariel is not hesitant in removing its head from its shoulders. Like most Nephilim she perceives herself as better than others but does a very good job of coming off as more neutral than flat out against others. Ariel is a devout Vangelist and often mentions the proper gods or thinks on them. She tries to let their teachings and ways guide her on the path of righteousness. xxxxx Ariel is one of three triplets, the other two being Aurelia and Abigail. They are of course, Nephilim. The sisters grew up knowing of their nature and choosing to become apart of the barrier between good and evil. They were schooled in respective battle arts and were taught to act as a team. Aurelia was the knight, Abigail the mage, and Ariel the healer. The three of them trained day in and day out to become the perfect huntresses. Now they are apart of the military and ready to combat the forces of evil.
The Samael Trio; half human, have angel triplets. Aurelia, Abigail, and Ariel were raised as warriors and trained in the arts of hunting the creatures of the dark. There has not been a time in Ariel's life where she was away from her sisters. Early on their parabotai bonds formed, none of the three being left out. The girls worked incredibly well together. Their timing was so spot on with their attacks it seems as if they were one mind with three bodies. On the battlefield they were one cohesive unit. Outside of it was a different story. Abigail was the most outspoken of the bunch and always had the objective in mind. There was no grey in their world to her, only black and white. If there was a demonic being it was evil and it will die. Abigail seemed of a similar mindset, rarely bothering to object. She was the one who always knew for sure though and that contributed to her lack of hesitation. Ariel had always been the one to suggest deeper research into each subject they hunted. Being a demon was not enough for her after one particular day.
On one of their hunts they had been tracking what they believed was a vampire. Many bodies were cropping up with bite marks in their necks, but the unusual thing was the number of vampires popping up as well. None of the triplets could quite put a finger on what was happening. If there was another group hunting they would have known for sure. After a few nights they finally tracked a vampire down began to stalk it. As it began its own hunt the triplets kept a close watch. The sisters were covering a few streets, never too far from one another. Ariel spotted the vampire first but before she could call out for aid something very odd happened. A werewolf leaped from the rooftops and attacked the vampire. From the shadows Ariel watched the two of them duel, observing instead of acting. The lycan managed to overpower the vampire and tore its throat out. During the battle it sustained heavy wounds though and Ariel realized it would not be able to run for her. She readied her weapon and revealed herself. But before she could deliver the finishing blow she could not help but look into the eyes of her prey. First there was anger, and then fear. Ariel furrowed her eyebrows and hesitated, her blade hovering just before the neck of the creature. In one of the most controversial moments of her life Ariel decided to let the lycan live. She turned her back and sheathed her blade, walking away and waiting for the man to retreat before hailing her sisters. She had claimed the vampire kill her own and never spoke of that day to either of them.
