Mamoru groans as Danielle screams at him to watch up, while the dark voice inside his head mutters,"Kill them all" as he slowly cracks his eyes open. He groans in agony as the pain from his wounds fusing and closing back up wrack his body, while stares up at the nurse. He stammers through ragged breathes,"I was just trying to take a nap" as he blinks his red eyes. He slowly glances around the room allowing him to notice that Zanko was next to the nurse. He smiles weakly at the guy and says,"It was an honor fighting you... Zanko was it?" as he lays on the ground.

"Thank God...I thought you died..." Danielle rubbed her eyes, she didn't want anybody to die right in front of her, she couldn't take it. That's why she had to keep this job up, to save very life she could. Danielle reached around for Mamoru's mask before holding it out to him. She changed her focus to Zanko and shrugged. "I wasn't sure what he'd do...his thought process is difficult to read." Danielle wasn't completely sure about a lot of things, that man was an enigma.

Zanko smiled at Mamoru and then replied, "Same to you...still...that style was cheap." He joked with a smile before he looked at Danielle and heard her before he shrugged. "Well okay...I'm heading back....gotta feeling we have homework nonetheless." He told her as he walked back to the classroom. (Exits)

Mamoru slowly takes the mask from Danielle's hands as he feels ashamed of the scars on his face, while he sighs before placing it on his face. He hears her comment about thinking he was dead causing him to laugh, while saying in a dead tone,"I have a feeling some other worldly force isn't going to let me die anytime soon" as he refers to the Old one's whom had been described in the History of the Dark Portal style.
He slowly stands up as he feels slightly sore from the fight, but otherwise felt fine and grips his head as the dark voice whispers in the dark corners of his subconscious,"Kill a the humans" as the dark fox that he had been accustomed to seeing smirks devilishly as it looks at Danielle with its glowing red eyes eerily similar to Mamoru's own eyes.
Mamoru shakes his head and shouts out,"I won't do that... Thats not a part of who I am anymore" as he clenches his fist. The dark voice echoes throughout his mind,"You can't run from who you are Mamoru... So or later the truth will come out and all these people are going to want you dead" as it laughs insanely from the dark recesses of his mind before it disappears.
He watches Zanko leave before he laughs at the comment about his style being cheap and replies back,"I know its cheap, but that's the way I original learned how to fight" as he smirks watching Zanko disappear out of the door towards the classroom. He mutters under his breathe and turns to Danielle,"I believe my follow classmate is right and I should probably be heading back to class now" as he tries to ignore the dark voice inside his head along with the dark fox making motions to slit Danielle's throat causing him to pause as he debts the suggestion, while he waits for the nurse's reply.

Danielle crossed her arms at him screaming at nothing, it was odd, but she believed she had an idea what was happening. "Mamoru...take care of yourself, please." Danielle couldn't understand how far these students were willing to go for power...they'd kill themselves, and she'd be able to do nothing about it. "If you have to, let your heart guide the way instead of your head. Your will is your own, and your will is real." Danielle walked over to Mamoru and stood on her toes to place a reassuring hand on his shoulder, as warm and comforting as ever. "And you shouldn't worry about those past wounds so much. xx»»»xxSilently, Castiel slipped back into the clinic. His careful gaze searched the premises for the nurse he had recently met. Not drawing any attention to himself, he would wait until she was done with whatever she may have been working on. Then the following would ensue, "Nurse Brooks?" he asked; his voice was soft as silk, yet his tone carried a mysterious depth to it. . a certain air of meaning and seriousness, a specific pitch of formality coupled with humble intentions. Not long after these couple words, Cass would unleash a light but humorous grin as his eyes would form two kind arcs, reflecting the curve of his smile. "Did you still have that extra shirt~?" After a rich chuckle, Castiel would allow a light shrug to help reformat his composure. "So I went to the location you had shown me earlier, and a professor there offered me you, as mentor." he flexed his torso as he leaned a bit her way. ". . .well," he said as he pocketed his hands, pretending to be a tad abashed. "-that is, if you would be fine with that."
"Beautyofthechildofdestiny... Delightfuldaysarerichwithdensityoflove.Thornypath,there'snoeasywayforrealbliss. SoIkeeponfighting, fightingfordestiny. Gonnakeeponfighting, fightingfordestiny." Danielle looked up from her latest project and turned to look at Castiel. She wondered what could have possibly possessed him to come back here...hopefully it wasn't an injury. "Castiel? Did you require aid?" Danielle attempted to say 'hello', but her experience in this room dictated otherwise. Danielle noticed a subtle change at first, but soon Castiel smiled at her. "Did you still have that extra shirt~?" He asked, laughing while he did so. The ridiculous nature of it caused a small bit of laughter to escape Danielle, but she considered it unprofessional. In response to her own laughter, she covered her own mouth and attempted not to laugh. "Actually, yes, but I doubt that's what you're here for." Danielle's face returned to its naturally serene expression; perhaps a reflection of Danielle's true self? She wasn't as hard to read as some people on the island. Danielle listened to him for a moment before nodding, although, she herself was a bit confused. She pushed her glasses up from the bridge of her nose, and spoke while her index finger resided on the center point of the accessory. "Me? Well...I'm not against taking you as a student, but I am far from a combat professional. Are you sure you want somebody like me as your mentor?" Danielle was, after all, just the medical help on the island. She wasn't really prone to fits of rage, or even a desire for battle.

xx»»»xxCass' foamy, oceanic hues studied her curious expressions; he took note of their subtle transitions, and of her attempt to stifle the bit of laughter that resonated from her peaceful soul. He wondered why she wanted to hold it back in the first place. Laughing. . chuckles, snorts, giggles, any and all of it. . couldn't be that bad, could it? Castiel saw warm laughter as merely an emission of the radiance that emitted from the depths of an individual's heart. The genuine brilliance of her own cachinnate broke the facade he constantly donned, even molding it into an empathetic guise. Even in a professional setting such as this, expressions and gestures of kindness and of good-intent would always be welcomed by Cass; he only saw these as another method to heal and to loosen the tension in any circumstance, whether it be argument or attrition. Rebellion against all odds and the war back home had etched these viewpoints in his heart. Cass watched as she fixed her cute spectacles and listened well to her explanatory response. At this, his head turned to the side temporarily and his gaze narrowed at the tiled floor. After a moment of recollection and a short sigh that followed after, he turned his attention back onto her. "I'm fine with that, Miss Brooks. . ." it appeared as if he wanted to say something more, but he had to muster up some boldness and rearrange his thoughts fore he would. ". .to be honest, I'd enjoy a break from combat instruction." he finalized his reply, thinking back to the years he had trained under Nightmare. "Besides, your keen performance has enticed me." Cass admitted as his mind glanced into the past where he recalled Danielle putting her impressive talents to use.

"I hate to ask so much of you, but you need to do one thing for me before we can begin." Danielle walked away, only to push a cot out for Castiel. She crossed her arms behind her back, and frowned...this wasn't something she could ask him to do again, so...just this one time. "For the moment, I need you to..." Danielle stopped in the middle of her statement, only to take a deep breath. "I need you to strip down, and lay right there." It was a strange request, but Danielle was completely serious. "Skin contact is something that makes my abilities effective, but I assure you, I shouldn't need to ask this of you more than one time." Danielle added one last thing to what she'd previously stated. "While you're laying down, I want you to relay your troubles to me. You'll feel much better by time you've finished speaking, and by that time, you'll find yourself stronger."

xx»»»xxA tad surprised, is head reeled back a centimeter at her positive response. So she accepted him as her student now, so easily? It definitely was different than the time his father had placed him under the care of whom was to be his first mentor. It had taken forever to win their approval. . . for them to even consider Castiel a student of theirs. Therefore the grace of Danielle's unprecedented and utter acceptance to take him under her wing was a treat for the meek male. His eyes donned a sparkle of awe as they followed the delicate path she traced from him, to the cot, then on her way back to him. "-sounds wonderful, Miss," he finally managed to reply; even though his voice came out in the form of a mutter, there was certain and genuine gladness that accompanied it. Soon enough, instinct, curiosity, or something else pulled him toward the portable med-bed; he approached it at a slow pace, wondering why she had rolled it fore him, then laid a heavy hand upon the thin but dense mattress that cased this object. All while she spoke his blue hues studied the cot. They widened vividly at her inquiry. . . to strip down. Cass' eyes glanced both to his left and his right. He judged that there were no other people in their current location, thus fortifying his boldness to follow her instruction. He could feel his muscles stiffen a little as his steady hands found their way to his own waistline. In unison, his thumbs dipped into the brim of his sweatpants and his plain boxers, just above his nether area. He gave his pants a slight tug down, though barely enough to reveal the tips of his smooth and etched iliopsoas. Which thereafter, his digits traced their way across his waist while they followed his pant's ruffled belt-line and onto his hips. A benign gaze only left her eyes for a moment as he casually inched the edge of his sweats down a pair of lean, muscular thighs, till they loosened enough to fall to the level of his feet. Cass backed out of the holes which constituted his pant-legs, and picked them up, folding them right after he had. Though he paid a certain aspect of his body no attention himself. . . it had certainly made its presence known. Something only fairly represented by a hard, vascular, yet smooth like sanded maple, 2x4, arced in a Golden Gate Bridge manner; like a fresh and unpeeled banana, its skin encased its entirety yet, at least for the time being. Cass released a soft sigh as he set his sweatpants at the foot of the cot, then climbed atop it, laying as Danielle had instructed him to. As soon as his head rest upon the white mattress, his eyes shut, and glued lips finally parted. "My troubles. . . huh." he relayed, reaching deep into his past. "I won't lie to you, Miss Brooks, I've felt a lot in my life." His arms rested at his side even as firm and quiet utterances escaped his vocal chords. "I, Castiel Valente, was bore into the royal, Dutch familia. . . a son of the king himself. However, I wasn't a lone child; I had a brother. . . our father's firstborn which he named, Alvaro." Cass paused to recollect the fond memories he had of his entire family, and the peaceful times they had spent together, way before any mention of vocabulary like 'war' and 'treason'. He would continue about a minute after. "Alvaro used to seem a kind and caring child before father and mother. . . though when alone or nearside me, his wicked intent always surfaced. I can still clearly recollect. . . the day he opened his grimy heart onto myself. I had just turned six, only the other day, when he decided to approach me with a late gift; it was the unfamiliar hand of a young girl. . . you could yet feel the warmth from this undoubtedly recently detached limb. I still know not how he obtained such a thing for himself. Regardless, seeing it had effected my viewpoint on my brother greatly. . . although I did not give up hope." another pause would allow for silence and any loose thoughts to sink in. "Times later, on one depress-ed day, my father became gravely ill. Even to this day, he lay upon his death bed, his sickness unknown and incurable. Meanwhile, my sadistic brother had decided to take advantage of said situation; so he gathered a criminal and corrupt force to overturn what weak grasp my father had upon his throne. Mother could be no match to this new threat. . . and neither I. In fact, after a continuous effort against his newfound and greed-filled power, fighting alongside the innocent people of our kingdom. . . I was captured and thrown into our most notorious prisons. It was only by one man's actions that I managed to escape; my previous mentor, Nightmare, whom had been assigned by my father to train me ever since the day I could form a fist." his hands clenched at his sides, recalling the torture he had been through, the 'instruction' he had had and endured. "This is only the tip of the iceberg, of my problems. Every time I take a step. . I can feel the weight of all the innocent people, living under Alvaro's rule back home, weighing upon my shoulders. Whenever I shut my eyes, I can hear their screams, their wails. . the depths of their sorrow will never leave my mind. And when night draws near, any thought of serene sleep and dreams leaves my mind like daylight departing from the darkened, starry skies; instead, concern creeps into my heart. It burns my very fibers and my own bones ache from the icy tremors I feel when I think of what might await my return home." Another pause came with a much deeper sigh than afore. Cass could feel his resolve growing stronger. . . and his muscles tensing along with it. "But I will make it back, no matter what, I promised-" a thought entered his mind, a little girl he had held in his arms and an oath he swore to her to keep. He could not let her down, for he would not see her tears. . .
"Beautyofthechildofdestiny... Delightfuldaysarerichwithdensityoflove.Thornypath,there'snoeasywayforrealbliss. SoIkeeponfighting, fightingfordestiny. Gonnakeeponfighting, fightingfordestiny." Danielle made sure her hands were clean before they began, and although she'd much rather keep this professional, she couldn't help but stare. She bit down hard on the inside of her jaw when she noticed her own eyes began to wander. Danielle focused on looking at his eyes rather than anywhere else; the nurse could not afford to sacrifice her professionalism only because she felt like that one girl who made the mistake of stumbling blindly in to a man's shower room. Danielle didn't have to worry for much longer, however, as Castiel had placed himself upon the cot. It was time to begin the process, and considering how Castiel had initally spoke, it wouldn't take long, nor would Danielle need to dig deeply. Danielle started at the soles of his feet and worked her way up. Hatred, confusion, inner blindness...all these things held Castiel back, but Danielle was there to offer him her shoulder. She would accept his burdens on to herself should he allow it, and in doing so, carry his pain for him instead of letting him wander in the endless sea of carnage that would result. Danielle was soon given a name; Alvaro. That must have been the main source of Castiel's weakness...although, there were so many more shatterpoints he had that could be taken advantage of. Danielle couldn't allow him to continue on like this.
By the time Danielle's hands rested on certain parts of his thighs and hips, he'd most likely feel that Danielle was doing something. Although Danielle could not manipulate emotion, her energy healing seemed to be a direct counter to negative feelings. Pain, loss, anger, fear...it was just an anchor. Danielle's already light touch seemed to become slightly more cautious as she handled Castiel's more delicate parts. She wished this could have been avoided, but for the sake of Castiel, it had to be done. While he spoke, Danielle simply nodded, working her way all the way up to his forehead. Each word Castiel spoke carried weight with it, and by the end, Danielle was certain that Castiel would benefit from this. "I cannot claim to know how you feel, nor can I claim to know how this affected you..." Danielle stated, placing her hand on the top of his head. "It must be painful...living with that kind of burden. If I could heal such a wound, I would, but...it's one of your driving forces, if not your main reason for being."
Danielle's emerald green eyes conveyed sadness, as she attempted to put herself in Castiel's place in order to imagine how he would feel. "There is one thing I can do to alleviate your pain....it's the obstacle you must overcome at all cost, for healing begins in one's own heart." Danielle already knew he would not turn back, so she didn't refrain from hiding what she meant. "Your energy is quite unstable, and given enough time...it will corrupt you. Destroy what you stand for, consume you, and...become you." Danielle looked to her side, and Castiel's energy took shape. The energy Danielle had manipulated, the negative emotions and fears that were born from Castiel's memories. The copy smiled down at Castiel, but said nothing for the moment. "Castiel, for me...for yourself, and for everything you believe...it is imperitive that you tackle these fears head-on. You may have heard this in your life before, but the most dangerous energy you will face in your life is--" The copy of Castiel spoke, its voice mocking Castiel with every uttered word. "Yourself. Isn't that right, Castiel Valente?" Danielle frowned, but spoke again. "This creature was created of you, and has to be destroyed of you. It is every pain you have, and although this will not completely remove all of the pain you feel, it will effectively 'cure' you of the sorrow, and the hate resulting of your past." Danielle let that sink in for a moment before crossing her arms behind her back, her expression worried that Castiel may not be ready for this sort of test. "I can banish it, if you wish, but this monster is you...and it will taunt you until you destroy it."

xx»»»xxAs he unraveled the gigantic yarn-ball of emotions and experiences which were his past, Danielle worked her way up his body, from his toes and onto his head, using some special force or ability she had within her smooth hands; perhaps it originated from the depths of her soul, but whatever this energy was or wherever it came from, Cass could not sense her hands until she had placed that final touch upon his forehead. He had delved too deeply within his story and had become temporarily numb to reality fore this. His mentor spoke and he listened to the meaning behind the woven threads of silk which constituted every word that connected to form a phrase; Danielle sounded compassionate, and understanding -this put him at ease whilst in her presence. Listen he did. After her first sentimental statement, his lips parted, yet no words escaped; he was still rendering his thoughts and transitioning them into the proper statement, allowing her words to really sink into his mind even if the silence would seem awkward. "~you're right. But you must understand... after seeing these people lead such peaceful and innocent lives with their brothers and their sisters... their fathers, mothers... family, friends... before my brother stepped in to alter that delicate condition... I would trade my very soul just to know that they've regained what was once lost through greed and foolish choices." though his cottoned voice started out with unquestionable kindness, his phrase ended with a hint of definite disgust; this latter feel was more than likely pointed toward the state which his brother had brought down upon the denizens of their land. After speaking his mind, his mouth remained open for a few seconds, unsure of what next to say. It shut a moment before Nurse Brooks continued with her endeavor to bandage his wounded heart. Castiel listened more intently. His forearms released the tension which had arisen in his clenched fists, and his expression dimmed into an emotionless guise. What was this mending of his heart of which Danielle spoke of? Cass himself was not aware of any evil intent compressed within... he had never thought of well, "I never imagined that any such corruption lied within me, Miss Brooks." His closed eyes squinted a little, displaying his effort to comprehend her thoughts on the matter. "But.. I can see that what you speak of may be true." he paused, allowing her to command the destruction of himself, or at least, what he 'stood for'. "-guess I must have focused on the well-being of others too much, that I let neglected to envision myself, allowing this monster you describe, to creep within." he muttered under his breath and mostly to himself, but Danielle would also be able to hear what he had to say if she wished to. His mentor continued but this time, he would not interrupt. Her words became ever so crystal clear when he heard the gloom that lurked beyond his own, reflected voice. Was this all in his mind, or were they in reality? Cass opened his eyes after hearing near half the phrase his voice had relayed to him. A bit shocked, his gaze took in the sight of himself, reflected beside his teacher. Without any more hesitation, his hands came to life and propped up against cot, in line with his head. Flexing his abs, he drew his knees into his chest and fluidly kicked both legs back, over himself; doing so, he propelled off of his hands -as if performing a backhandspring- and landed nearly five feet away from the copy of himself and his mentor, Danielle. He did not miss a beat of her words and nodded firmly, shortly after she concluded. "I despise any form and delusion of darkness." he sternly uttered, slipping into his seasoned stance as he quickly took in their surroundings. This particular area of the clinic was clear of any patients, and even the other beds were missing. Could it all just be in his own mind- or was there realness behind this setting? Castiel wasn't sure, nor did he have any time to think it. He simply stood and waited for his other form to make a move, away from Danielle; he dared not lay a finger upon her elegant form, though he would most certainly destroy the infernal clone in their midst. "Come." he quietly remarked in return to the earlier taunt. Currently unbeknownst to him... he was still in the nude.

xx»»»xx"Heh...because I'm a fake right? Because I'm hollow?" The second Castiel remarked in a bemused voice. If Castiel believed himself to be true, then he was wrong. "No, it's you that's the fake. The damnable mask you wear everywhere you go is just hiding what's really in your heart!" The second Castiel crossed his arms in an X-pattern, and soon after, the real Castiel would feel boundless energy emanating from the copy. The copy laughed as its arms began to glow a bright blue. The sound was more hollow this time, rather than the evil sound it had been beforehand. "Who do you even think you are?! You want power, you CRAVE it! You want to DESTROY your brother! As do I!" The clone struck forward without moving, but that energy it had gathered earlier allowed for him to strike at a distance. "THAT is your truth!" No matter if the copy struck Castiel or not, the truer of the two would notice that this place wasn't the same place where he'd been speaking to Danielle. The two of them stood upon a transparent azure platform, but at the moment, it didn't seem as if it extended beyond twenty feet. At this place, at the center of Castiel's own soul, things became clear. "Do you get it? I'll erase you here, and that mask you wear will be destroyed. Then I'll kill them all, just like you want to!" The clone rushed Castiel, and its arm glew white as it approached. "My brother...he'll never hurt anybody again. I'll save them, I'll destroy him! HE IS NOTHING!" In this place...the world was ruled by one's heart, and the clone had a heart just as powerful as Castiel's. With those raging emotions, and Castiel's hatred of his own reflection, the area around them began to fill with fog...

xx»»»xx"-as far as I'm concerned, yes." he did not hesitate to rebut. "Any intent that hasn't a resolve to back it holds no true solidity; there is a fine line between reality and imagination-" his clone interrupted before Cass could continue. Even so, his mind was open to what the opposition had to say. If this unnatural being was also himself... perhaps it held some truth in its words; in fact, the real Castiel did guise his demeanor in a thick veil of optimism, but this wasn't because he desired to bury away any greed for power, control, or any of that degrading nonsense. Cass' gaze opened up to the sudden resonance from his clone... it felt terribly mighty, even as it seemed to wash away their surroundings in a pulsating aura of ki; their area had transformed into an impossible setting. It appeared to be some sort of suspended, translucent platform they stood upon; this while true sapphire skies surrounded them from all sides with loose, pure clouds floating by ever so slowly.
Castiel tried to shake his sight from the beautiful scene as he returned his attention back to his other self. "No, I do not wish to destroy anyone, only to cleanse the throne of him; I need not take his life." he quietly replied, as if trying to reason with the darker form before him. Cass took note of its glowing arms, keeping his own limbs raised and ready to retaliate should any close-range attack come. Why did such brilliant light emanate from such a vile being? And why had it tested the air with a simple pun- BAM! He was hit by a sudden and unexpected force, sending him a few inches off of the ground and stumbling backwards as he tried to regain balance, yet fell upon his back.
Cass was both physically and mentally stunned... he quickly propped himself up to examine the enemy. Did that energy which surrounded his arms, extend the reach of his arms? He listened some more, but could no longer bite his tongue. "-no." Castiel growled as the clone closed in on him.
