I wait for the games to begin, but Yuki seemed to be waiting for something else. "Now, lets see here...." I grab a branch of thick yew and string it. I grab another branch and grab some arrowheads I had carved. I a fix my arrow, fletch it, and wait for something good to happen.

"Soo, I have never seen nor been in one of these things...." Jurdean comments. I explain it to him, the many times I have been here, and why I kept coming back. "I see why Gaband made you his saboteur. You are already quite versed in it." I laugh and make my quiver look good. My scarf holds onto my bow while I make a belt for my quiver. I put it on, and string my bow behind my back. Jurdean nods, and I test my shield. It was like an impenetrable cave. I feel the ground, and there it was as well. I sharpen the shield into spikes, and push out. I feel the trees bend to its might. Then I push it out fast. The spikes shoot out in every direction. I had never had anything like that as a weapon. It was...... very imaginative to use. Required most of my imagination, that is.

Yuki waits till finally she hears the door open and screaming and she turns, Hitomi is dropped on the ground and lays for a moment till she looks up to Yuki in tears,"Sweet sister why are you doing this.....its not like you and to make it worst you would put your own flesh and blood in a death battle?!....Why?" Yuki smiles and looks to Kurai who was snarling at Ketsueki appeared next to Hitomi,"You see big sister Kurai and I have made a great alliance to each other and here I stand at the top of it all, even father never had this power and Kurai was there too...however since I have Kurai you have Ketsueki and I mark you as a threat to try and get rid of my place." Hitomi didnt want to believe the words that Yuki had said and was shoked,"A threat?! no....I would never want to hurt you but I want to get the sister i remembered, the kind-" Yuki's face turned red and anger and slaps Hitomi furious,"Dont ever say kind....being kind only got me hurt and killed people around me...I have no time to hear this...Take her to the arena and suit her up." The soldier picks Hitomi up rubbing her face still from the hit, she had given up talking to her and was sent to her forseen death. Hitomi is suited up with her attire from the previous Quell and given her mask, though now she regretted to wear her sister's mask since it didnt give her hope only more pain. She walks down the hall and enters looking at all the other competitors awaiting for the games to begin. "This brings me back....when I actually had a purpose.

As the last finally came it was time for her to start the games before a soldier gives her word of an early fight that broke out and one is dead, when she heared that her face grew red beyond angry,"A death and yet the games havent started....this is unacceptable tell me who was the assalient." Yuki looks to the screen to get a glimpse and it didnt take long for her to figure it out,"So.......... he's the troublemaker in my game? better keep an eye on that one for sure." Yuki turns but was still inraged enough to started throwing her magics thinking about the bloodshed that took place in her absence. It wasnt till another soldier came in trying not to get hit and announces the Earth's fighter which changed her tantrum into laughter,"I see...you picked her?...this will be entertaining." Once settled Yuki travels to the shadow realm looking down to the arena and the fighters, she looks down to see Eve as a competitor and smiles hoping to see how her once student will do in the fight."Welcome to the Shadow Quell, all the realms have chosen its fighter and they now stand here ready to fight off one another....since the arena is in four elements we shall begin with earth as the beginning terrain.....so now let the game begin." Yuki walks up escorted to the top and sits waiting for the first seen death to happen.

Just as the signal sounded the arena hit with many types of magics coming every other way, Hitomi ran up the nearest tree and kept quiet. "Great, now with Yuki's new changes to the game how am I suppose to fight back without magic abilities." she never had to fight others like that and now here it was going to be a challenge,it was then Ketsueki was by her only a smaller form the size of her hand,Actually you do have the ability but you havent figure out how to use it.Remember your encounter with Sara? Her face showed deep confusion but then figured out what he ment, she felt weird the day Sara captured her and somehow she changed, "Thats right, since I have your spirit then lately I increased in strength.....with your help of course Ketsueki." He nods to her,Now your getting it, just use what is in your mind and that will help you get through this.....and that I promise.

It was then Hitomi felt as she was being pulled out from the branches and lands to the ground hard, she sees a man three times her sides send a wall of fire right at her, all she did was think it was it but looks up to see a red film surround her. Hitomi didnt realized she projected a shield over her as she thought she was in danger and the fire rain was reflected away from her. She had a idea since Ketsueki said to you her head with her magic anything was possible, she reaches for a handful of her needle and focused on them closely, soon they glowed red in her energy and flew through her shield attacking the man till he was down. Hitomi releases her shield and stands back up retreating to the tree to stay hidden, behind her mask she was both amazed or her new ability and slightly angry.

Even above the tree it was pitch black, Hitomi however was able to see pretty well in the dark but a few things were hard to see throughly clear.The fight seemed to have stopped for know but she was terrified to figure out who exactly was already killed and which were lurking in the shadows waiting to be confronted. Hitomi had been hidden in the tree since her first brush in death but was lucky Ketsueki was at her side and finding out the new magics never tested, it had been at least four hours and by now she was getting weary but kept still,"I know this is the cowardly way but since I'm new to magic this is the right way." Hitomi started to fall asleep slowly till a snap woke her but before she realized it she hit hard on her back as she slid off tree and hit the ground,She tried to get a breath in but her lungs felt heavy from the impact.Taking a couple minutes Hitomi hears a twig snap and instintively ran into the bushes to see who was watching her, as she did she looks up to where Yuki was watching feeling hurt still from earlier,"This may be your planning but even if I fight to my death....I will free you from this curse...you'll see."

Finally she sees a figure coming and looks though the leaves and was suprised to see it was Eve walking in the dark like there was no danger,"Eve?.....Yuki put her in the game too?....this just got harder then I predicted." Coming from her mind she knew the games would bring back Azelus but now with Eve here it was going to be much harder. Hitomi finds a small patch in the bushes and huddles close scared of what the morning would bring, Ketsueki laied next to her wrapping his tail on her like a blanket which help ease Hitomi's fear and went asleep.

It started to be close to dawn and already on the first day there were kills, though Yuki was excited to see the action her mind was somewhere else. After watching the last recap she paces thinking of the words Eve said to her before the games begin,"She sounded like she was either challenging me or it was a threat....no matter I wont let it get to me that easy." Kurai comes to her side sensing her tension,Your scared arnt you....afraid that this Eve could possibly defeat you?" Yuki looks to him angered,"I didnt say that did you hear me said I was scared." Theres no need to guess it, its on your face and your body movements, I'm a spirit remember so you cant hide what your feeling....youre afraid of your own student." She clenched her teeth furious then punches right through the wall leaving a big crater where her fist came through,"Enough! I'm not afraid of her....besides she'll be dead in this game before getting a chance to fight me then again...I think its time to change the field for fun." Yuki smiles and runs out to make her announcement, The sun rose high and she appeared smiling,"Well done fighters, the first round of the Earth field has ended and the death toll was a striking number....now comes for round two, I hope some of you are not afraid of a little breeze since now its time for the Wind stage....dont get blown away...signing off." Yuki disappears and goes back to the balcony where Kurai waited, she was satisfied of what the fights have brought but deep inside she was terrified.

Hitomi looked up to her and really wasnt sure what to think, she wanted to change the way Yuki was acting but also had an arrow straight at her,"Can i trust her even in this game....I've seen this before and in time the other backstabs them in the end....however she wants to help get her sister back and end this meaninless violence and bloodshed before its too late to turn back." Hitomi looks down for a minute and thinks it over, Eve sounds serious about this and looking to the cloak realized she guarded her thoughout the night so others didnt see her, she also thought it was possible Ketsueki vanished leaving her valnurable. Ketsueki's small form appears on her shoulder,Go...create an allience with Eve, together you two will have the advantage and stop all this nonsense...my lady please....its alright to trust her but make it like you are enemies...believe in me this will work. Hitomi nods and looks up to Eve giving her the look of agreement and grabs a few needle between her fingers and had two daggers floating on each side of her acting as she was ready to attack but slightly nods giving it was just for show.
