@Rai: I hate FF7. It's a cliche anime, made into a video game. The characters are static, there is no real development within them. It's a highly stylized piece of s**t. Even Oblivion was better than that garbage.

@Cold: Really? Graphics? You damn younguns piss me off. I still love FF3, because it's not the graphics that matter. It's all about gameplay. Hell most decent RPGs are PS1. Haven't seen a really good RPG since Breath of Fire 3. Morrowind was loads better in terms of story. If graphics are what you focus on as a gamer, maybe RPGs aren't for you. I'd rather have innovative gameplay than some epic graphics, but in the end the same s**t I've played 80 times.

@Insanity: The horses were a bit pointless to me. I actually didn't like the fast travel thing. I liked the silt-striders in morrowind because it actually only moved you to major cities. It was more realistic, in oblivion it's Poof, I can be anywhere.

I want Morrowind...Graphics matter to me just as much as the color of my teacher's shoe sole. Story line and characters, those are the top of my list.

To be frank, the characters in Morrowind are pretty static. Relationship systems have yet to be adopted by Bethesda. Story line is good. Characters, not so much. There is a lot of secret stuff to do, lots of quests, much more than oblivion. I'd suggest playing TES3, before any of them.

Edit: I do like that they finally made vampirism more appealing. In Morrowind it was pretty useless and put you at a significant disadvantage. In Oblivion there are actually pros and cons to it.

Eh, I didn't care for being a Vampire. Just did it for the fun of it really.

That's not true I can enjoy many RPGs with bad graphics it's just that Morrowind is just hard for me to get into. I am playing it every now and then but unlike Oblivion it's hard to get off the ground if you know what I mean. I'm starting to like it now that I'm a few quests into but graphics do mean a lot to me, they help me with that sense of realism, that I'm actually there in the game.
Oh and I CANNOT STAND all the cave levels in Oblivion.

Yes, I suppose morrwind does start fairly slow as it starts. There are no portals to oblivion and everything takes place in the general area.
Graphics aren't important for me if the game brings more to the table. If the game is cliche and retarded, then it better have amazing graphics.

A recent RPG I was fond of. Tales of Vesperia. Then again all of the tales games have been pretty good.

I agree with you on vampires but I wish they had put werewolves in Oblivion like they did in morrowind.
Oh and Bethesda will hopefully pick up this stumbling relationship system with the new Fallout game on its way.
BTW: Why did Black Isle Studios drop Fallout Van Buren when the game was 95% done. I mean they could've at least picked it up later but I mean when it was 95% done??? Was there really nothing else they could drop?!?!?!

Maybe the realised it would suck out loud?
-shrug-
Call heresy if you like, but I much prefer Fallout 3 to the others. If New Vegas uses the engine developed by bethesda, great. If not, I probably wont be buying it.

Yeah I mean I know fallout 1, 2, and tactics were all good games and classics but I mean c'mon clearly they don't even compare to Fallout 3! Going from the graphics and engine of Fallout tactics to something like Fallout 3 is like going from a bicycle to a rocket ship, there's just no contest as to which is better and honestly I'm kinda tired of people saying that just because fallout 1, 2, and tactics were classics that that makes them definitely better.

In fallout 2 you could be a porn star. That makes it infintely better than anyother game ever made.

I've been playing Tales of the Abyss with my husband and best friend recently, it's been so much fun. Next up we're going to tackle Symphonia, and then possibly Vesperia.

I still have a deep devotion for Fallout 1 and 2, as they're what got me hooked into Fallout. I like Fallout 3 but there were several aspects of the game I was unimpressed with. I still play it frequently and got the DLC packs. Oblivion I don't have installed right now (removed it to free up space for another game since taken off), but I'm planning to load it up and start a new game as early as tomorrow.

What to play, what to play...

Just CTRL+F and type in porn star. You seriously can audition to be a porn star and make alot of money that way. You can also be a fluffer for a porno XD

And in a post apocalyptic world which is slowly being rebuilt... What industry do you think would be easiest/most popular to be rebuilt among the working class?
