The Laugh at 07 was particularily disappointing, especially concerning how good he was on broadway...

Sure Last Laugh was dissapointing, but isnt it always? Cut out the commercials and it's practically 15 minutes long. Im just saying that Lewis Black is an awesome comedian, up there with George Carlin and Richard Pryor.

That's about the main idea, IMO, of hatred towards it. FYI, I only hear about Christianity being attacked.
What gets me is, why are people so afraid of a belief that they obviously don't believe in?
It's not good enough that you simply not preach to them. No, they don't even wanna see a statue of Jesus or [insert other religious symbol here] out in the open, because they're too good to simply not pay attention to it like NORMAL PEOPLE.
Then again, I think it's all a big " fad " that's trendy. Just like now how almost every celebrity is into politics and bashes Bush because that's what's " in " nowadays, I think anti-righteousness is another new trend these days.
When you pick a belief just because it's convenient for your specific lifestyle, do you REALLY believe in it?
