[OOC:] No! It's perfect! And finally, the strange collection arrived at a high-bidding auction. Only the most valuable souls were sold here. To the soul eaters gathered there, Kaya's soul was a gorgeous cheetah, standing high and glaring at its captor. To the small collection of people behind Maria, it would appear the spitting image of Kaya.

Luke's soul soon stopped to see the cheetah's. The wolf barked to the feline spirit, calling out to her. The wolf paced anxiously, wanting to go to its other half, the love that linked their very souls.

[OOC:] I keep imagining a red string... Kaya's soul spotted Luke's and the reaction was instantaneous. She struggled against the spirited chains that were made to keep her by her "owners" side. Maria bit her lip for a moment. She knew she'd have to figure out a way to get Kaya's soul back from the man. So, she quickly left the group, recapturing her own soul as she left Luke and Kuro's behind. The man seemed surprised when she appeared by his side. "I can offer you a trade, but only if you leave the auction," she said quietly. He looked hesitant, but agreed, and they were soon away from the bidders. "This soul has a daughter, and the daughter's soul will be less resistant and even bigger than this one. Will you trade?" It was common knowledge at soul markets that the only thing more valuable than a soul was a soul's offspring....
And so, Maria returned to the medley group with a cheetah soul trailing behind her.

The wolf soul rejoiced, rushing to Kaya when they both returned. The wolf barked happily, his tail wagging furiously as he nuzzled the cheetah. He missed her so.

Maria smiled a little the reunion of the parents. She hoped that they wouldn't care what she'd done to get Kaya back. Even though she knew that they'd wanted to put her soul back in her body, so that she wouldn't be the freak of nature she was.

Luke nuzzled the cheetah more before motioning to Maria, trying to tell his love that this was their lost child. One to be reunited with them soon.

Kaya purred and began to prance around the group, going up to everyone, from Kisame to Kuro, happily.

Luke, after thinking for a moment, looked to Maria. His look suggested that he wanted to know how she had freed Kaya. He wanted to know why he felt like he was leaving something important behind.

"It was really easy," Maria said with a shrug. "He owes my mother a favor, and I said I'd waive it for him if he gave Kaya's soul over."

Luke's soul growled a little. It could tell lies. And it felt like so much more than that. He wanted a straight answer.

Luke spirit only got annoyed. It then went to Kisame and barked angrily.
"S-Send you back? B-But Luke! T-That's dangerous! W-Wait!!" but she couldn't stop him. He was already back through the portal to the market. The wolf spirit headed back to where they had gone and sensed out Kaya's captor and entered his private tent, snarling angrily.

The captor looked up, surprised by the appearance of the soul. He'd already sold the soul he'd gotten from Maria earlier, and currently he was counting out all his money that he'd gotten. "Well, well, I guess I get another opportunity at money, hm?"

The spirit snarled more, not sensing what he was looking for here. But the wolf changed into his larger form. Two tails, his soul becoming a platinum silver light, and flooding with uncontainable energy. And a new talent. Where. Is. That. Soul. Tell me and I'll let you keep yours.
