well, ysalimari are really expensive, too.
But Cale not knowing what they are? hell, half the galaxy knows what they are. Selk even had one when he fought Drako, and it was sliced in half. Come on Cale, how can you not know?

Thats why we "test" things. Or ask Selk, with his black market connections, i'm sure he's tried every gadget on the market.
And distracting neb would be easy. "Ohh... shiney metal object..."

But we already have determined that a Cale versus Neb fight would be unlikely. as for testing, Cale isn't made of money. and its hard to find ysalimari.

WHOA! New poses. Too bad my profile's down.
Why can't they EVER see this coming? EVERY SINGLE TIME they release a new feature, no matter how much testing is done, it always gets released with a crapload of bugs, glitches, and sometimes causes servers to crash from the overload of so many users on at the same time.
Jeez, I mean, you'd think by NOW they'd always prepare in advance for these things.

I know, I'm just saying.
I'd rather they take their time getting it right and bug-free from the start rather than releasing things sooner with loads of bugs. Plus, I'd rather they work out all the bugs currently affecting Gaia now before they even start working on new features. Quality over quantity.

it still wouldn't stop people from flooding the system in the first three hours and crashing it faster than 3P0 in an Xwing.
I mean to make the server that large would be tremendous, since they wouldn't hav eto upgrade for a whiel. I mean, day to day, avatar changes aren't that overflowing, but all at once, not even AOL could handle probably.
