The closed beta for the game
Vindictus opened up yesterday (got in at E3 =p). Took me forever to download it and it was under maintenance this morning but I just played for hte past 4 hours practically and it was AMAZING.
Suuuuuch a fun mmo, no more tab - target bull crap, no more cast times and cool downs, no drinking a ton of pots or sitting to eat, no more running across hundreds of miles of bland landscape just to get to a "grind x creatures" mission.
Again soooo much fun, and best of all? FREE, 100% free with better graphics and game play than ANY MMO I've ever gotten my hands on.
The first introductory level has you outside a tower with an army sieging it. A giant spider that used to protect the city has gone ape s**t for some reason they can't figure out, and they want to kill it. The oracle (some chick not sure why she's important) wants to try to calm it down, she thinks it's just frightened. So you head up with her and several guards. Of course as soon as you get in you're ambushed by Gnolls (who you later find are controlling it).
Long story short, you wind up on a large outcropping of the tower fighting a spider 10x your size... remember this is the BEGINNING of the game... you're not fighting little puny dungeon rats, it's a ******** monster spider xD
I'll put a video up of that fight eventually. I'll have to do another run through there and record it. Either way, this game is epic, look for it when it releases which hopefully isn't to long around the corner.
Again I re-state this game is 100% free, you don't need to purchase anything from a store it's all online, and there is no monthly fee.
