"Congratulations Cody!" He said happily seeing the newly evolved Pikachu.
"Hey Cody, wanna do that official battle we promised each other tomorrow?" He asked looking at the Pikachu, then Cody.

"It's gotta be unofficial unless Ginji is willing to ref for us," Cody explained. He picked his new Pikachu up and held her tightly. "What do ya say Peaches?" The Pikachu nodded in agreement.

Cody walked into HQ bored as always. As he waled by the kitchen, he stopped to take a look at the calender. Today was the twenty-second of June. That meant it was his one year anniversary for Aqua. "Everybody, it's official. I have been in Aqua for exactly one year!" He released his pokemon into the common room and looked at all of them, taking an extra few seconds to look at Feraligatr and Claydol, his first two pokemon. "I never thought I would make it this far..." Cody said softly and continued, "but with the help of all of you, we've managed to fight through a long year. I want to personally thank every one of you for everything you have personally contributed and hope you all keep up the good work. I couldn't ask for a better team of friends. Between you guys and my friends here at Aqua, you've all been amazing." He took a step back and took another look at his team. It was amazing how much they had grown. Not only from just Totodile and Baltoy, but to the number of them and the evolutions, both physically and personality wise. It was amazing to see how much each of them had grown.

Maddy walked into HQ, still texting on her cell phone. She sat down on the ceiling. "Hmmm... I just noticed something. I'm pretty much the only girl around here nowadays." She said, talking to herself.

"And what does that make me?" Sammy whimpered as she walked out and saw Mrs. Maddy sitting on the ceiling. "I haven't really been around, but I hope to be soon," she sighed, scratching the top of her head. "So, what's up? Besides you, I mean?"

Maddy blinked down at Sammy. She almost didn't even remember her. "Oh, nothing. Just waiting for some people to get back to me." She said, glancing down (errr... up?) at her cell phone.

" 'Some people' who?" Sammy inquired, ignoring the fact that she was prying into someone else's business. She had tried to be a bit more polite lately, but so far the track had just gone in circles and she was back at the beginning.

Sammy looked backwards and saw Reaper walk in. "Hey, Reap. Whatcha up to?" she asked, leaning against one of the walls of the common room.

"Aaaaw! Look at the cute little Togetic!" Sammy squeeled like a fangirl, patting the pokemon on the head. At that time, Cupid popped out of her pokeball, jealous that another of the Togepi family was aquiring Sammy's attention.

Sammy looked at the two-faced pokemon, for some reason being reminded of the devious character from Bat-man. "I've always wondered this, but which side of the Mawile is the front?" she asked, taking a look at the innocent and not-so-innocent faces.
