I understand that.
I always personally considered that point the defining moment of Cale's development.
He could have gone either way.
Had he stayed with the Sith he could have been a decent lacky and made a good villain, perhaps even climbing to the ranks of an Admiral in FP's rebuilt Sith Empire.
But he chose to shun them and be an independant operator. Eventually it led him to the wealth and power he sought, but it was far from an easy trip.

At least he didn't get typecasted into dying...
So cliche was the plot of that RP, and so fiercely did it cling to our hearts, it could not die. And yet slain it was, by the dropouts of sith.

I wasnt going to let him Die in the first installment. You guys needed a Rogue. A real one.
But yeah. The droping out of all the Sith ruined it. No badguys means no RP.

Cale got plenty of post RP press, even cameo spots in Legacy (there would have been more but that got cut short as well due to drop outs. xp )
