*shakes his hand and smiles quite evily baring his fangs.* "Aye thank you sir." *With that he rounds up his men as quickly as possible, and begins arming them. He shouts at them...* "Hurry up men we don't have all day grab what weapons you can carry and meet me at the forward skipjack!" *Waiting at the skipjack he checks his pistols and swords. after checking and making sure everything was in working order he climbs abourd the skipjack and waits for his men. a few minutes later the men board the skip jack. Ilor yells to the captain* "Sir we're all ready!" *They await the captain signal to go ashore*

"Mr. Ilor! When I order Miss Ares to fire, I want you to launch the first assault. Land the boat on the beach-head under the cover of the Lady's Broadside's.
Once you land, it will be hard to stand the territory. The port no longer will look as it did. Everything will be blown to rubble and explosions will be constant. Please, keep livley and stay quick on your feet. Good Luck."
*Watching as Miss Ares readied herself for the beginning of the main assault, he shouts once more to the shorecrew.*
"Sheath your weapons and wait for the signal, boys... ... At the gun... shove-off!"

Dr. Morgan looked in awe as the fortress a quarter mile from the collumn of smoke hanging over the top of the hill appeared to slowly empty itself of troops. It looked as though their position had been deemed superlative to defense and threatened by the fire, and they were now being sent to battle the blaze which had now spread from the citadel onto several nearby buildings. If it were not dealt with soon, the entire city would go up in flames.
"Guess we won' 'ave any need tae torch th' city 'en"
Getting down off the roof from which he had been watching the goings-on, Dr. Morgan began making his way towards the now almost vacant fort. Along the way he passed scores of men readied for close combat, all armed as best theu could be.
It took him barely two minutes to reach his target, as the streets wer all but empty aside from the armed men. The gate was closed, but he could see a way in over the pallisade via a blacksmith's roof. He crossed the gap and glanced around to see where the munitions were stored.
No? surely not... but it appeared to be so. This was among the oldest and most run-down of the defences of the city, and the munitons looked to be stored in a thatch roofed hut next to the ramp up the wall. Thatch! could they really be that stupid?
He fitted a bolt onto his half-sized crossbow, lit the ball of tar covered cloth at the end, and fired at the roof of the building. Within a minute of the bolt striking, the roof was steadily burning, and the chaos as the few soldiers remaining fought to put it out was enough time for Dr. Morgan to make his escape.
He watched from a few houses away as the fire spread to the whole of the roof. It should fall in on itself in but a few minutes...

--In the City Square, Corpral Collingwood stands on top of a broken wagon, trying to see who is attacking Toulon. As he spys about, he see's a man he's not seen around before. The stranger, being dressed in almost entirley black clothing seemed to be hiding from the infantry men.
Expecting the worst, Corpral Collingwood goes to investigate.--
"HALT! CEASE AND STAND TOO!"

Realizing too late that his vantage point was easily visible, Dr. Morgan tries for the easy way out.
"'Ello there, me good man! What dae ye wish fr'm me?"
He hopes this will work. If not, things may begin getting dirty before he had hoped.
((Nice NPC (I think), BTW))

((Why Thank You Mister Bouldersan))
*Cocking his rifle and aiming it at the Man in Black, he closes in on the stranger. Coming within sneezing range, Collingwood questions the man.*
"What is your business in the City of Toulon, Sir?"

Smiling through gritted teeth, Dr. Morgan manages to keep his composure.
"I be a doct'r, lad. As it were, I were 'ere tae check in wit' me good frien' Dr. Wilson-"
He hopes like hell that this man knows the most respected doctor in the town, and that the namedrop will work...
"An' tae buy meself s'me new intr'men's. Th' smith where I be from is of nae qual'ty wha'soe'r, nae like th' stuff ye kin ge' 'ere."
He can smell the powder. This is a trucky situation indeed.

"Well, ok then... Might I follow you to Dr. Wilson? I can't seem to hear out of my right ear after that explosion at my munitions bunker this morning. I can't for the death of me figureout what caused the fire."
*He retakes his firm disposition.*
"But if you pull anything funny-like, I'll have your brains with my evening crumpets."

"I beleive that Dr. Wilson is out, but if ye wish, we kin go an' check any'ow. I met wit' 'im but an hour ago, an' 'e were in a terr'ble rush"
He just needed to stall a few more minutes...
"I beleive 'is offic's be this way..."
He began walking through the square, close in to the fortress, careful to avoid any sudden movements. Just a tiny bit more time...

"WHOAH! I HAVE TO HELP!"
*Turning abruptly on his heel, Collingwood cuffed the doctor's & his hands together and ran for the third munition's bunker that was under threat of exploding any minute. Collingwood had to help fight the fire. (Besides, it was only fitting... Firefighters wear Red too.)*

*she nods at the captain's orders, and takes the speaking trumpet. She looks around at all the crew and then back to the trumpet.* Captain, make sure the crew covers their ears... *she starts making the climb to the top gallant. She carefully puts her hands through the rope, and gets to the top with a fair amount of ease. She looks down to the deck, noting that the crew has covered their ears, mods, and clears her throat. She puts the speaking trumpet in front of her mouth, and suddenly gets nervous. She takes a deep breath and opens her mouth. A soothing harmony of four voices comes pouring out of her mouth. The music drifted, propelled by the wind and trumpet, to the town. Soon, she started noting small figures moving to the beachside. Seeing that her job was through here, she put down the trumpet and stopped singing. She jumped down and slid down a rope to the deck, where she promptly went below to light slow fuses and lead her guncrew*
((Detail, eh? Well, I hope this is an improvement. I have a little more time this time))

((Wrong account, Captain. XD It's only the second munitions place, by the way.))
Taking advantage of his captor's momentary distraction, Dr. Morgan whipped out a knife and cut the man's right hand clean off at the wrist. He ducked and rolled to the side of the gate in the confusion as the roof flared suddenly, and began to crack. Men shouted as the roof fell in, followed quickly by a violent explosion. Those who were valiantly trying to put out the fire, the young Corporal among them, fell with screams of pain and became no more than charred corpses.
"How many have I killed now?"
We was disgusted, especially since he now had a bloodstained manacle around his arm, though it was well hidden inside his coat.
He stood up, spotted an escape, and fled into the alleys. As the debris landed, it set fire to many nearby buildings, setting ablaze yet another section of the city. The first fire was still steadily burning, the attempts by the army and the men of the town having done little to combat it.

Dr. Morgan looked upon the city from a vantage point far from the action. Two of the town's forts were gone, and another was at the edge of the first blaze, sure too soon go up in flames itself.
"That should be enough... the Lady will have to deal with the other two, if the fire doesn't reach them first"
He made his way slowly down to the docks, hoping for an opportunity to disable same of the ships in the harbor. A sound carried over the waves made him temporarily lose control of himself, and before he realized it, he was at the water's edge. He sat down hard, and struggled to keep control of his mind as the song called him out over the waves.
"It would have been nice if he'd told me about the siren..."
When the song finally stopped, he hummed a few notes to himself, and, looking better, stood and turned back to the harbor. He needed to do no more killing today. The assault was about to truly begin.
