Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be leaving for my folks' home tomorrow morning and I won't have much access to internet. I'll be back early January 2007.

I wish I had the budget to even afford a PS3 for myself ~gasp~
instead!... I bought my babes MegaManX3 for the SNES... reason being that, not only is it his all time fave game, but when he was younger, he loaned it to a friend and never got it back.....around here, its the hardest of the MegaManX games to come across... and 'conveniently' the typical fave of a lot of peeps. So they cost a pretty penny... He'd been kicking himself since.
I went to a lot of troubles to find it ;o;... and I even haggled at the price ((I won, by the way))
I'm hoping it'll be a total surprise and that he'll really like it
and then we should play it! ~grins~

Sounds like you did good. I know all about regretting loaning a really great game out and getting it back less than functional or not getting it back at all. I'm sure he'll love it.

it's an online game that has been in development since 1994. onyl recently has it been established to be good enough to beta test, and invites are indeed, invitation only.

I use to float around "waiting to become beta" games, quite a while back biggrin
I remember getting accepted to play LineageII's closed beta ((same deal, just cause you applied, didn't mean you'd get to play))... and my mom's computer couldn't handle it! ~gasp~
I play Ragnarok Online and World of Warcraft now, tho ((Don't be boooooo-ing me. I like these games just fine >.>))
