Captain J. Kurisutofa *Shouting into the tops*
"Miss Destiny! I want Topgallants Unfurled. Fore' and Aft. Main'sle and Fore-main'sle need to be secured and make fast. The Jib needs to be hauled into place and the three sprit'sles raised. Also unfurl the Flying-Jib. I want as much sail as possible. On my word, let fly the colors."
*Grabbing his speaking trumpet, he bellows to Officer Ares, the Gun-Captain below the maindeck. Miss Ares was ready on the Gundeck. Already having secured the guns and readied the blocks & tackles for running all 10 of the 28 pounders.*
"Miss Ares! Miss Ares! Report to the Quarterdeck and man the starboard Swivel Gun." AYE! *she runs up to the swivel gun and awaits the captain's orders*

*Looking through his spyglass, he catches a glimpse of the Dragoon's Mounted Division losing their steeds to the nearby fields.*
It'll take awhile for the division to regroup... nows the time.
*Turning on his heel*
"Miss Ares, would you kindly sound a salute to our kind hosts? Their hospitality will not go un-noted. So, if you'll please.... ...FIRE!"
*With this singular shot, it starts. A complete assault upon the City of Toulon had begun. The signal cannon's first shot would not only salute the garrisons, but would signal all sabotgeurs to begin reeking their havoc upon the town. Soon the Lady Washington would begin their advance.*

Jumping off the roof of the mounted headqaurters, Dr. Morgan landed lightly on the back of the last horse to leave. Luckily, it was the Seargeant's horse, and was still saddled.
He turned the horse in the direction of the citadel and kicked it up to speed. His face hidden by his long hair as it was whipped around by the wind, he made it to his destination, a short distance away from the citadel, in less than two minutes. He slowed the horse, dismounted quickly, and slapped it to send it on it's way. He then proceeded to make his way via the alleys and rooftops to the fortress.
The gap from the tavern on which he stood to the citadel was greater than he had accounted for, and the wall rose above his current height. He'd have to find another way in. Across the way was a church, the only building rivaling the height of the fortress next to it. Perhaps the steeple would give him the angle he needed... yes. It was close enough.
Once on top of one of the central towers the citadel, he made his way to the edge of the roof. He'd have to swing down into the room below him, wherin there was a dumbwaiter he could use to make it down to the basement. He'd still have a way to go after that, but the dumbwaiter would certainly shorten his trip.
He waited for the signal from the Lady.

There! The gun had been fired!
Swinging through the window on a rope hung from the rather foolish little roof ornamentations, the glass shattered around him. A pity, that, but since it could not cut him through his heavy coat and there was no other way in, it could hardly be avoided.
The room he came into was abandoned. He left the rock he had carried with him on the floor. Hopefully they were stupid enough to fall for that ruse.
The dumbwaiter was cramped, but Dr. Morgan was able to fit. It was nigh impossible to control the up and down movement, so he let himself drop to a few feet above his destination, and then carefully, painfully, lowered himself down the last few feet.
Once out of the dumbwaiter, it was only a few rooms over from the pantry in which he was to the Munitions room. He made his way carefully through the halls and to his destination.
The two men he had killed on the way into the room would no doubt die of their wounds whether he tried to save them or not. He cursed himself for being so careless with his sword.
The powder kegs stared at him, daring him to strike a spark in their direction. No, he had a better plan. The explosive he carried had a 2 minute fuse. With Any luck, that would be enough time to get out. He stashed it out of plain sight but a careful distance from the barrels, lit the fuse, and made a bolt for the door.
he reached the ground floor after just over a minute, inadvertantly killing yet another man in his flight. As the men clustered in the hall through which he had to pass caught notice of him, the charge went off and they were thrown sprawling. The doctor fled out the door as the men recovered their footing. Two hots narrowly missed him as he bled back into the excited bustle of the city. The soldiers were too busy scrambling to their posts to pursue him further.
So much for making it look like an accident. Hopefully, Dr. Wilson had carried out his orders and alerted the town's doctors. It was clear that he had yet to notify the townsfolk of the evacuaton point.
He was running out of time...

((May I suggest, Miss Ares taht a little more detail be put into how you are firing your swivel gun? Details make the RP. Just some advice.. take it or leave it.))
*Turning to Mr. Ilor.*
"Indeed Mr. Ilor, let us continue this at a later time. For now, I want you to ready a small squadron of 50 men{NPC} for our first full on beach front assault. Arm them with weaponry from the Armery in my quarters. There's are enough swords, pistol-powder and shot there to hold off a 20 year seige. Not to mention, I'm unlocking you from your restraints and allowing you to feed and use all vampyric tactics necessary. I trust this will help secure our victory.
Now, I want you to lower the forward skipjack and use it to transport the squad to the waterfront. On my word, lower away and have at 'em. Leave them Redcoats not knowing what hit 'em. Open the Cage & Release Hell."
*Nodding to Mr. Ilor he offered his hand as a gesture of good favor.*
"That Will Be All Mr. Ilor. Good Luck and May God Have Mercy on Your Dark Soul. Rip 'em Apart."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*On the thought of the supernatural*
"Miss Ares!Guncrew's are to Clear Away and Ready for Action. Light the Slow-Fuses and Ready the Powder Monkeys. There will be alot of munitions used over the course of our little swauray, yet before any shot is fired, I need something of you, Ares.
I need you to climb to the royal-top t'gallants. Take this speaking trumpet with you. I need you to sing your song Miss Ares. Sing it loud and sing it long. Draw them Redbacked Lobsters to the waterfront. Bring them to us. While they are under your spell, they will do anything necessary to get to you. As they gather in masses on the beach's bulkhead, I need you to report back to the Gundeck and lead your guncrew in firing two full broadsides upon the waterfront (1 for each side), all whilst continuing your song.
Your targets:
- British "Men-O-War" Battleships - British Frigates - Waterfront Battery - Naval Facility located on the West-side of the port.
When aiming for enemy Frigates, either aim high and take out their masts, or aim low and disable their rudders. With all manouvering capabilities shot away... their fleet is not but sitting ducks. That will be all, Miss Ares. Now... do your dirty work."
*With that he nods to her and turns to the City, setting his spyglass's gaze onto the City of Toulon.*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This time tomorrow, I'll have rid Toulon of the British and be sitting to tea upon the heights of teh Citadel.
Redcoats are nothing but common farmers these days... Mr. Ilor will make easy of them. Though, I wonder how the good Doctor Morgan is doing in town. Apparently he's holding his end. The Dragoons have already lost their advantage... and the munitions have all but burnt to ashes. Good Form, Ol' Boy... Well Played.

Hurrying through the crowds to the pub where he was to meet Dr. Wilson, Dr. Morgan noticed looks of terror and awe upon the face of every man, woman, and child. They hurried home to check their families or stood gawking at the pyre that was the citadel. The stone appeared to be intact, but anything flammable was surely on fire. With any luck, it wouldn't spread too far too soon.
As he reached the front of the pub, one of the few officers who had regained his horse ran through the town shouting "The city is under attack! All men take up arms and defend yourselves, women and children to the cove outside the city walls!" Similar calls were taken up by various others as the soldier galloped past.
"Ah good. The message is spreading without me"
Upon entering the dimly lighted room and letting his eyes adjust, Dr. Morgan saw Wilson and four others sitting around a large table in the back. He went to their table, held up his hand for silence, and when all had stopped speaking, he began.
"Glad all o' ye coul' make it 'ere. There be grea' 'appenin's goin' on ou'side, an' ye need tae be a par'. There appears tae be some sor' o' attack on' th' city, so's t'woul' be bes' fer each o' ye tae 'elp spread th' word o' where th' women an' chil'ren shoul' be goin' tae. Tell 'em tae 'ead tae th' cove, an once ye've cleared th' city ou' as bes' ye kin, follow 'em there yerselves. I may call fer ye once this be ov'r. Nae, If ye'll excuse me-"
With a flourish of his coat, he turned and strode out the door, leaving the other men dumbstruck, aside from Wilson, who shouted at them to move. Within minutes, they were out among the people of the town spreading the message.

*People ran by terrified. She had heard cannonfire- what was going on?! She asked the nearest running townsperson- "PIRATES!!" Came the hurried reply. Pirates, huh? she thought. A slow smile spread across her face as she grabbed the nearest object to be used as a weapon. Maybe they could use a hand...*

*Watching the town like a hawk, Kurisutofa spys men arming themselves with rifles, pistols, swords and pitchforks... anything they could grab.*
Apparently, you can't signal a respectful cannon salute to the Governor anymore... The world's turned paranoid. Granted, they have good reason to be... but still.
*Chuckling to himself, he awaits Miss Ares's song to begin.*

With the hill above the town still smoking, giving one the appearance of a miniature volcano, Dr. Morgan made his way to the fort closest the water. Once he was within sight of it, it became clear that the opportunity to set off their munitions had passed. His attack on the Citadel had set the entire town into a frenzy, and though it was clear that they had not figured out who they were fighting, they were certainly preparing for combat. Men rushed about, preparing weapons, distributing arms to the men of the town, and generally preparing for a seige.
As an officer on a horse passed by, the doctor ducked into the shadows of an alleyway. He had broken up the mounted soldiers, sabotaged the citadel, warned the doctors of the town... now was the time to think and to plan. As far as he could tell, there was little to do but wait for the cannons to begin going off.

*Ducking below the compass house, he pulls a key off of his ridiculously large collection of keys. Unlocking the cabinet, he pulls out a flintlock rifle that was affixed with a magnifying scope. Grabbing a good-sized pouch of shot, wadding & powder, he removes one of his "one'size-fits--all" belts and straps the belt to the pouch. Securing the flap on the pouch, he places the rifle and the weapons belt atop the wheelhouse.*
"Oh Sparrow... I have a present for you!"
