*Maggie frowns as Bard declines the help, and then looks uncertainly at Cora's outstretched hand . . . but she simply doesn't have to energy to disagree or question, so she nods and gives Cora her hand*

:::As Maggie's hand fits in Cora's, Cora uses her other hand to run her index finger along an invisible line on her metalic cuff. A portion of her cuff pertrudes. It is rectangular, and seamlessly growing from its recess in the main device. It hovers over the back of Maggie's hand:::
You will feel a little bit of heat, nothing more. :::Cora uses her fingure to put a last point of pressure on the cuff to command it to begin the client diagnositc. The metalic pertrusion lowers itself gently onto Maggie's hand, warms up, and after about 5 seconds lifts and retracts once more. A female voice is heard from the cuff:::
Processing client diagnostic results.
This will just take a few seconds Maggie. :::Cora releases Maggie's hand:::
:::As Cora promised, a few seconds went by and the cuff's 'voice' began to report:::
Diagnostic complete. Commense sub-system detail. Respiratory 90%, Ciculatory 100%, Nervous 78%. Commense diagnostic analysis. Body temperature 100.9 degrees fahrenheit. Elevated synaptic response to corresponding thyroid glandular impulse. Carbon respiration down by 14% Levels of converted glucose in blood stream expectancy decrease. Diagnostic Complete.

:::She looks back down at Maggie::: Well, I understand what the program is reading. Your decreased levels of carbon-respiration are explained by the 10% decrease in your breathing patters. Which in turn causes your muscles to be weak. Your temperature is high because of all the activity your thyroid gland is producing...but I don't really know why. The thyroid is a vestigial gland to my people. It never acts up. But in your time it was used whenever your immune system had to fight disease. That is all I can conclude.

:::Cora nods::: Mm...most likely bacterial. If it were viral, the system would have announced it. I do not have any antibiotics. They are not dispensed to the public, ever. Mainly because there is no need for them any longer, and second because if they got in the wrong hands, it would mean a lot of trouble. I am sorry...there is not much I can do for you. Unless you are in pain...you do not look comfortable...? :::Cora gives Maggie a concerned eye:::
