The True Sith are coming, and if Revan's Shield falls into their hands the galaxy will become unglued. Sounds like a lot of BS to me... Especially since the Galaxy is unglued already. *nodnod* Plus, I'd be less worried about the outside threat than if the sith really started fighting... We discussed this in the first few days when we were designing the RP? Don't you remember? GOD DAMN IT! It was going to be one of the primary plots of the whole RP. You mentioned the Shield was designed to repel an enemy, and we agreed on thta much. We never agreed that the threat would ever actualize. Mostly because we have plots of our own that were more important. Whats the point of finding the shield if there's nothing there to repel? Come on man. ITS THIS s**t PEOPLE QUIT GUILDS OVER.

I know I'm being an a** tonight, but at the same time, seriously. The true sith, even if they did invade, was agreed to by the guild that they would never be much of a threat. If you're thinking that the sith and the jedi are going to band together to repel this invasion, then that's quite a bit more than what was originally agreed. Plus, don't get so haughty that you're suddenly cheated. All my plans for Nakara go down the tubes if I'm stuck fighting a KotOR version of the Yuzzhan Vong.

Cale Darksun I thought he was going to use it to repel the true sith. And my interpretation is that this supposed threat was going to break on the shield like water on rocks, not start destroying the galaxy prematurely. Maybe I'm missing something, but suddenly having the True Sith start taking worlds even before Johnny's war machine is up and running is not what I imagined by Stellar's description of the shield. It defends the galaxy. Once the sith are inside its borders, the shield would be useless. I don't care what the hell it is, but someone's gonna better come up with what this plot is, because for all of the speculaation thread, it sounded as nothing more than sub-plot alongside the generic jedi v. sith war.

I wasn't thinking of them banding together. I was thinking of a 3 or maybe even 4 way fratricidal battle at the end.
Jedi vs. Sith vs. True Sith vs. The Forces of Revan's Shield.
Once the True Sith withdraw Saul will destroy the shield to keep it from being used by the Sith or Jedi.

I thought the True Sith were part of Stellar's Sub plot, in that he was trying to find them or something.
The primary focus of the war, as is Canon, was going to be Sith vs Jedi.
A good point was raised earlier. Who the hell will be commanding this True Sith crap? Especially with, as you put it Stellar, A Revan's Shield Faction which i assume you would control with Saul.

I'm going to get off for a bit, to cool down. I've got a marx paper to write anyways.
I'd rather not say something stupid and blow this any further than I already have, but seriously, I seriously was not ready for this surprize. Its almost like when people were assuming I had this massive cybrog/droid army to destroy the galaxy with or something. It turned into a big rumor which wasn't confirmed.

I don't know... considering that most of the True Sith encounters before that will be really small scale (A band of three or four here and there) I've set it up so a few sith may actually be secretly helping them to acquire the shield. Maybe we should hand it off to a mod...
Anyway, I designed Revan's Shield to have the military capacity to swing the war to either the Jedi or the Sith. It's like Thrawn finding the Katana Fleet and Wayland, Revan activating the Star Forge, or the Empire's attempts to acquire the Hand of Thrawn.
It's something worth expending resources to find and use against your enemies.

We should have decided this True Sith thing before hand, Stellar.
Should have planned out how it would have worked. We go no mods who are free to do it, as those of us engaged in the RP are either busy or beset with multiple characters already.

I knew we ran into this RP too quick. There were still things to work out.
I was going to NPC em... but me fighting myself isn't that great an idea. Though I do have the design for them pretty much set in stone.
As for the Revan's Shield Faction... it's mostly going to be force imbued droids and vessels. I know... not exactly the most powerful weapon, but when you have factories that can produce them at a rate that rival's the star forge, it has a distinct strategic value (Especially when it can be reprogrammed to produce or types of ships or droids).

Yeah, an old Rakatan style droid army. It's utility is much like that of the Star Forge or Wayland. An infinite wave of reinforcements.
The True Sith on the other hand are broken up into two elements... One being the True Sith's version of the Massassi Warrior. The other being the old fashioned Sith Lords.
Their Massassi are Nanite based cyborgs (This is something that hasn't appeared in Star Wars as far as I can tell before). The nanites repair damage to the body by replacing it with artificial parts in real time (It only takes minutes for the nanites to replace lost limbs). Moreover, some of them have cybernetic augmentations including implanted shield generators, rangefinders, and the like. All of them are connected to each other through cybernetic augmentations to the brain and their weaponry is composed exclusively out of nanites enabling them to adapt their weaponry to the situation within moments.
