-She smilled and nanced away with the conch, and quickly climbed up to her nest. Once she was sure no one was looking, she hoarded it away under old pappers and clothes. She grinned before climbing back down onto the deck.-

"It's quite all right sir. I did indeed enjoy myself everyone treated me as one of there own. I come back with good news as well, I didn't hear or see any plans to attack us. If they managed to hide the plans from me then they are truly skilled.

Dr. Morgan waved to Dr. Baxter, saluted the Captian, and disembarked the ship. He made his way to the near the edge of town, where the British forces were garrisoned, all the while thinking out how to release the horses without the soldiers noticing. It was better to sabotage the stables first as a distraction to give himself a chance to destroy the munitions.

He'd talk with the docters of the town later. Unless the Lady commenced her attack sooner than he expected, there would likely be enough time to meet with most if not all of them.

((sry i havnt been on as of late, been registering for the next quarter already >< can someone PM me with whats been going on so i dont feel behind? thanks! ))
*Walking out of the tavern, Kubain decides to walk around the town, seeing the numerous ships docked, he noticed how quiet the town chatter is*
I know this silence....
*he walks back to the lady washington, and climbs aboard*
i wonder what's going on? hm...
PostPosted: Mon Feb 13, 2006 3:27 am

*Seeing Mr. Kubain coming up the gangplank, he shouts orders to the crew.*

"Away the Mooring Lines and Secure the Gangplank. Make ready to sail. We'll bring her about mid-water in the bay. On my order, Miss Ares shall fire a shot from the quarter-swivel on the starboard into the town.

This shall act as not only an honorable salute, but a call to all crew still within the town if there is any. Though, even if there are crew left behind, it is best that they don't get themselves in a right mess."

*Happy to see Kubain after such a long shoreleave, he calls to him from the Quarterdeck fore'rail.*

"Kubain, my boy... one you find yourself resettled aboard, come talk with me at the helm. I'd be delighted to hear of your happenings ashore. I've not seen you since the longboat made for shore over two to three months ago. Sonce then, I've heard little of you and your ventures. Please, come and tell me of your doings.

Once your done, I'll enlighten you on what I have instore for the City of Toulon."

*seeing the captain after such a long leave, Kubain is relieved that nothing bad became of the lady during his absence*
Yes sir!
*carrying a case or two of rum, he heads off for his bunk, more then happy with the result of "his" tavern*

*Watching as Mr. Kubain continued below decks into his cabin, the Captain turns back to Mr. Ilor and once again regains where he left off.*

"So, how did the Vampyrates recieve your arrival? I'd love to read over copies of the correspondences between yourself and their Captain. If you have time, could you possibley pass those onto me?

((Forward the PM's to me so I can read them please. I'm really quite interested.))

"Tell me everything that happend aboard their ship. I hear tale that they hold magnificent dinner banuets. Their German Blood-Sausage is rumored to cure any sickness and keep you from aging. Might you have tryed it while you were their guest? Please tell me every nasty little detail..."

-Returning to the ship, he looked for the captain on deck.-

Dear captain, I have brought the family and their few belongings. That is all I have to report.

*Turning to Mr. Quasan*

"Well Done, Mr. Quasan. Rig Quarters for the familes and make sure they are properly happy with their temporary home. I want no complaints from them while they are aboard."

*finished relaxing, Kubain walks back to the deck, and finds the captain*
So, cap'n, what do you have in store for the town?
*he raised his right eyebrow in interest, crossing his arms around his chest*

Destiny scrambled up the masts, and began letting out sail, then scrambling to the next spar, and releasing more canvas. Then, she climbed to the crow's nest, and kept a weather eye out for storms and such, keeping an eye also on what was about to happen on deck.
Gazing about, the brisk breeze tugged at her hair, trying to pull it loose from the tail and braid she had put it for easy fighting.
Since fighting was something she enjoyed, once she had released all the canvass she could, she agilly scrambled back down the mast to the first cross-spar, and stood there, with a hand on the mast, waiting to see where she could help next.

"An Attack upon the British Garrisons, Mr. Kubain. A Complete Hostile Takeover. All British Soldiers stationed within the City of Toulon will be given quarter if requested. All prisoners of war will be placed in confinment within the brig and taken to the nearest British Stronghold for negotiations. If your wondering how I'm looking to benefit from all of this, it's simple. I intend on takening what's theirs and trading it back to them at a high price. It will also teach them that they are not ready for a full scale invasion from a foreign task force.

All Terms have ben posted within the ship's scuttlebutt otherwise known as the Windlass Tribune. Refer to that if need be.

How do you feel about my plans, Mr. Kubain?"

*Shouting into the tops*

"Miss Destiny! I want Topgallants Unfurled. Fore' and Aft. Main'sle and Fore-main'sle need to be secured and make fast. The Jib needs to be hauled into place and the three sprit'sles raised. Also unfurl the Flying-Jib. I want as much sail as possible. On my word, let fly the colors."

*Grabbing his speaking trumpet, he bellows to Officer Ares, the Gun-Captain below the maindeck. Miss Ares was ready on the Gundeck. Already having secured the guns and readied the blocks & tackles for running all 10 of the 28 pounders.*

"Miss Ares! Miss Ares! Report to the Quarterdeck and man the starboard Swivel Gun."

Walking up to the headquarters of the British Dragoons, Dr. Morgan slips his way into their stables without notice. The front gate is open, all he needs to do is incapacitate the stablehands and spring the horses.

The first hand goes down with a nonlethal dart from Morgan's miniature crossbow, and the other collapses after being smacked on the head with the hilt of the doctor's sword.

After moving the men off to a place where they will be safe from the horses, he walks along the line of pens, opening each one in turn. The horses mill about for a moment, wondering what to do.

When the last pen is open, Morgan walks back to the end and smacks the flat of his cutlass against a dragoon's saber. The horses panic and bolt out the open stable door and into the streets of the city. By the time the first soldier arrives, Dr. Morgan and all the horses are gone.
