Kuro finally woke up and yawned. He was in his bed? His father must have moved him after he had fallen asleep. The young prince got out of bed and yawned again, going to pick up food from the kitchen, staying in his pajamas once again. Like he did every morning.

Kearia bounded up from her bowl as Kuro approached the kitchen, leaping up onto his shoulder and purring in his ear as she rubbed against the side of his face.

Luke looked up to see his soon come in. The boy smiled and caught the kitten, petting her sweetly as he got the food for his own pets. He waved to his father, who nodded, before he left, heading back upstairs.

As Kuro left the dining hall, Kearia jumped from his shoulder, trotting back over to Luke. She was on a mission and she wouldn't be deterred. She mewled at him, rubbing against his leg as she waited for him to finish up his food.
Maria was still talking to the spirit, who wasn't yielding much information.

Kuro watched as Kearia went back to his father, but the boy smiled and shrugged, heading back off. And he happened to peek in on one Maria.
Luke was still eating when he heard the kitten once more. He looked up from his food to look to the kitten, wondering what it wanted.

Maria, when she got frustrated, liked to move. She was currently pacing the stacks of bookshelves, the spirit floating alongside her. "If you don't know anything about yourself how do you exist?" she asked exasperatedly. "I know that I am a daughter, and a sister," the spirit responded.
Keara watched Luke eating, flicking her tail. Once the wolf was done, she wanted him to go and be with Maria. The kitten was a lot more intelligent than people gave her credit for, and she knew that if they just talked, they might get along.

Kuro didn't heaar or see anyone so he pressed on back to his room. But Luke decided to follow the cat back to the library. Where he could hear Maria talking. The older wolf sat down by the door and waited for the girl to return to view.

"But that doesn't make any sense! How can you be a sister and a daughter if you're nobody!" "Because that is what I am." "You're nothing! You're just... Just someone who never lived! You don't know anything!" "His soul was part of mine. We are brother and sister." "No, you aren't!" Even more frustrated, Maria sat down on the floor in the middle of a corridor created by a couple of bookshelves and blinked hard, trying not to cry. It was obvious why she didn't feel at home here; why she couldn't accept the fact that they were her family. It was because she was just a soulless piece of deteriorating flesh that had no right to walk the earth.
Kearia knew that Maria needed her, and she left Luke, curling up in the soul stealer's lap. The soul just continued to float above Maria's head.

Luke listened from the doorway, watching Kearia walk off into the musty library. Soon the old wolf got up and followed the voice, wondering what was bugging his daughter so.

Maria started to pet Kearia, calming herself down, though a few tears escaped down her cheeks. Her soul just continued to float above her, looking oblivious to everything. "Maybe I am just worthless," she said softly to the kitten. "Maybe they should just get rid of me." [OOC:] *Anya smacks Luke in the head* See what you did?!

Luke listened to the poor girl. Now he felt horrible. He hadn't been treating the poor girl right. Soul-stealer or not. So the old, graying wolf walked over to her and nudged her cheek softly. He was trying to comfort her and maybe brighten her spirits.

Maria jumped a little at the feeling of the wolf, and she looked down, not recognizing him. Since she'd always liked animals, and they'd always liked her, she wasn't all that surprised. Slowly, she extended the hand that wasn't petting Kearia towards the wolf, petting his head softly. "Hey there." [OOC:] Haha... The things our characters do when we aren't watching them sweatdrop *ties Anya up and gags her*

Luke murred some as she pet his head. Just as Kaya used to do. and though his fur was graying with his age, it was still jsut as soft as it was when he had first met Maria's mother. Luke licked her hand softly before laying down beside her, wanting to stay close to her. He might as well get to know his daughter.

Maria continued to pet the wolf and Kearia, her tears stopping. She sighed, staring up at the soul over her head. "You should just have your body back," she said bitterly.

Luke glanced up at her, watching her and the spirit. Might as well stay close to her. Who knew what she would do on her own and thinking so sadly.
