Get a new one? @PhantomPhoenix: I had French for two years, but it's been so long, most I remember now is the pronounciation. XD

Deoridhe TeaDidikai I hope so as well. The pessimist in me however says that every time they build a better mouse trap... The pessimist in me remembers that almost every site in the known universe tells you a moderator or admin will never ask for your password, and people still give them out. -_- At my job, we often have to ask for the user ID number someone uses to log into the system (since that's what they are indexed by for service calls and such), and it's not unusual for them to volunteer the password along with it. The mind boggles.

Fiddlers Green Oh, we had similarly horrid videos... They had the same people as were listed in the textbooks for the class... and it was... well amusing to say the least. Altho it did create horrible expectations of what we would experience in Deutschland... fortunately, when our group were foreign exchange students, we managed to get over the comedic misconceptions rather quickly. Methinks the beer helped. But seriously, I still can hear some of their rather inane conversations to this day... Especially the one about Tennis-rackets... Soso, Eine Tennisschlager... in this grim, gravelly voice that I can only describe as the worst caricature of one of the villains from Hogan's Heroes I have ever heard. Ooh, that's one I would have liked to see. We got to watch Die Prinzen's "Millionär" a whole lot, though. I wish the actual video was on YouTube, it was hilarious. I really miss Frau Burse; she was so funny. When she knew over half the class wasn't paying attention, she'd insert odd phrases into her lectures. One classic: "Mein Hund ißt Käse gern!"

Isakane Our fume hood is just fine. It allows easy access to all the smells of the wonderful chemicals. Are you an industrial chemist of some kind by any chance?

*Shakes fist at hellenic deities*
Thats an odd thing to do, I know. But I've felt drawn to the whole pantheon since forever and for some reason I have constantly ignored this. Ever get that feeling you're being dragged to something kicking and screaming? In my own mind, hellenic deities contrast with traditional witchcraft totally xp . I've never ever heard of the two together before.
But I think I've reached the point where I must change my opinion or change my path. neutral A path change is more likely.

Crystal Cove was awesome! Lots of wonderful stones and gems, and lots of free scrolls for me to start reading.
And I got my first Tarot deck! The illustrations on the cards are wonderful, and will be super helpful to a newbie like me.
Also, Isakane and catofsilence took perhaps too much glee in smooshing zombie's heads and devouring hearts. I can still hear their maniacal laughter. ninja

BlueRoseTorn Crystal Cove was awesome! Lots of wonderful stones and gems, and lots of free scrolls for me to start reading. ~passes the salt lick~ They can be interesting, if a bit fluffy. I wish I hadn't been so sleepy, I was hoping we could look over them together. Quote: And I got my first Tarot deck! The illustrations on the cards are wonderful, and will be super helpful to a newbie like me. It is a very interesting deck. Come to think of it, instead of Kabalistic and Numerological studies, I'd recommend Astrological studies- it had a lot of astrological themes in it. While I still think odin is pretty cool, I don't feel anywhere near as comfortable with the norse pantheon as I do the greek. Plus there was more to the dream, which I only recently remembered. There were caterpillars EVERYWHERE (They scare the s**t out of me, seriously), and I was trying to make a dress for a competition, but it kept going wrong. I wouldn't usually take this into account, but seeing as odin's name was on a tape measure (an important tol in dress making xD) it makes me think. Thanks for the link smile

Safe bet to place money on the fact you've read more about the Hellenic deities than the Norse? Edit: Going to add that additional information to the dream thread? Edit: Going to add that additional information to the dream thread? I'll add some ^_^ Yeah, I've read much more about the hellenic deities. But I just prefer the culture they come from, myths associated with them and everything. After all, I'm familiar with the Roman deities and the kemetic ones, but neither of which attract me so. This has actualy been bugging me since august or so xp There were some interesting coinidences and whatnot but I shut my eyes.

TeaDidikai Quote: This has actualy been bugging me since august or so xp There were some interesting coinidences and whatnot but I shut my eyes. Do tell!? Poseidon...everywhere eek I was in florida, and there were references to him everywhere I looked, even an attraction called 'poseidon's fury' and a trident symbol on the bathroom wall in my hotel room. I decided to be skeptical, but asked for some sort of sign if any of this was significant. Day after I returned home my friend came round with 'the poseidon adventure' on DVD. I STILL decided to be skeptical, and asked for another sign, if any, later in the month when I was walking along the beach. The biggest most awesome salt water clam shell I have ever seen washed up at my feet, the two halves of it still attached. I picked up the shell and took it home, but deided to be skeptical and didn't ask again.
