Haruki smiled at Torhu and said, "It isn't what I expected. My father never visits the teahouses when we find a city with them, so I've never had the opportunity before this."
He sighed and took Tohru's hand under the table and squeezed it. "Tohru-chan, I have to go home and report to my father. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone, but I will come back to you," he whispered softly.

Tohru nodded, tears welling in her eyes. 'I knew Haruki would have to leave and return home from time to time. I just didn't think it would be so soon...'
"Please be careful, Haruki..." she whispered back squeezing his hand. "I couldn't stand it if anything happened to you."

Haruki made sure the others were busy before kissing her hand. "Do not worry, Torhu. I will return to you as swift as I can."
He stood up and bowed to the table. "Thank you ladies for a wonderful evening. I shall return soon."
He left the teahouse with a heavy heart, but consoled knowing he would see Tohru again soon. Right now, he needed to be focused on explaining everything to his father - and that would be no easy task.

Tohru blushed a little and watched Haruki leave sadly. She took a deep breath and pushed it from her mind. She had to focus on becoming a geisha before he came back.
"Would anyone like a refill on tea?" she asked looking at Tora, Hirose, Kaida, and Hara.

Hara smiled at Tohru and gave a warm smile...."Yes.... I'd like some more Thank You"....Hara picked up her cup....and held it out for Tohru to refil.

Tora closed her eyes and sniffed the aroma of the fresh tea. She smiled inwardly and sighed. "Hara-chan, how are your younger sisters doing anyway?" she asked.

Kaida giggled at Tora's responce and winked at her. "Sure, fine," she smiled. Kaida sipped her tea and grabbed a rice cake from the table and began to snack on it. A dreamy sigh came about her face as she thought about Keiji.

Ariku gracefuly slipped into the door of the teahouse. She smiled and bowed to everyone. "I appologize for disappearing." She said and sat next to Kaida.
