Yuki felt the cold water on her head and the hot on her body that gave her a sense of peace knowing nothing would go wrong and sumerged a little deeper almost covering up the sound around her and thinks, with the quiet atmosphere Senente sighs feeling better Yuki was actually smiling after what happened and was feeling secure where she was. "Glad shes smiling again?" Raiku asked behind her,"Yeah, I was worried for a moment she would be like that forever but this did the trick.....something she knew was safe and fun." Evereyone was enjoying the water with Raiku being splashed by Everest and Senente watching and laughing by Yuki till Raiku started to play unfair and dunks Everest as she tries to get up blowing bubbles.


"Raiku you cheater pick on someone your own size." he looks and smiles "Oh? you mean like you?" he says going under the water as she serched for him. Senente thought he was going to come from behind and splash her but instead see nothing till a tug alerts her and she ducks in the water, Raiku slid under the water and snatched her towel from behind and swam off with it,"Shouldnt had said someone your own size since your the next one there." he laughs at her while in the water she swore bubbles both embarrassed and angry. "Raiku you jerk! give me back my towel or youre gonna get it." she looks at him swing it above his head and having enough dives under swimming fast at him leaving Everest in the middle and Yuki on the ledge alone.

Yuki looks up and sees what was going on and tunes it out,"My....whats a little thing like you doing by yourself in the water?" she hears from behind and turns seeing a white haired man stand by her and she tilts her head. "Sorry but I never seen a girl your age by yourself you looks lonely, mind if I join you?" he asks and she nods her head watching him slid in sighing in relaxation,"This water is said to help many things from wounds to even heaadaches....I come here for the hot water just for the heck of it." he says and stares at the cuts on her shoulder,"So.....did you get into a fight?...you have quite a few cuts on you."


Yuki looks at him and turns her head when he brought it up. "Oh I'm sorry i didnt mean to stare...just curious....not so talkitive but the shy type heh, dont see much of your type much....kinda good in a way." he says as she looks at him and both of them got into a conversation mainly with him talking and Yuki nodding.

Just as soon as the word sweet was heared both the girls were happy and Senente knew it would be especially with Yuki's little weakness with sweets, they all go in and see what there was right away Everest found sweet dumplings that were pink covered in strawberry juice and chose then while Yuki found ones with a soybean glaze. "I thought you like sweet sis, that suff is very salty."

Yuki knew it but wanted to try it again since the time she ate them at Naruto's when he accidently added too much salt in the mix but she like them once she tasted them and stuck to it, Senente watched the girls nibble on the sticks of dumplings not noticing Raiku sneeking over to her dumplings and pokes one on his stick and popped it in his mouth."Hey Rai you got your own jerk." "Yours are even better then mine.....and there so close." Senente eyes him and points out the window,"Hey isnt that Jiraiya over there staring at me." he looks around while she sneeks one of his as he turned,"Ohhhh your a sly one using a distraction like that......very sneaky."


The girls laugh at the little fun and poke at eachother and Yuki reaches for her tea, just as she drinks she sees her reflection in it and nearly froze as her image changed into the leader from the pier ripple in it. "No you cant get me anymore!" she shouts and flings the cup spilling it on Raiku scaring him as well,"Oh no daddy I'm sorry....my, my hand slipped." he just merely sighs knowing she was seeing things as an effect of her shock,"Its alright....it was an accident." he says as Senente hands him a couple napkins.

Yuki slept partially waking up parts of the night dreaming of the same man from the reflection and nearly cried,"Why.....I thought daddy and the others got rid of the bad men that took me away.....yet he..." she thinks hard and try to close her eyes. Finally after some time she drifted to sleep knowing she was in her room safe at home where noone could take her,"Mommy.....daddy....they wil protect me from anything that will come.....sure they will."


She constantly said as she slept. Morning came and Yuki woke realizing she slept for a few minutes but the air around her was off. Senente was downstairs doing the morning routine as Yuki went down seeing her,"Well morning you....your up pretty early, hows your moon?" she asks taking a look seeing it was still luminating slightly,"Hmm, it looks like your cuts are starting to heal let me see your hands." she takes them and sees Yuki's fingers had slight lighter tone from the cuts but they were healing nicely,"Well since your up why dont you go and play in the livingroom till Everest gets up."


Yuki nods and goes to her blocks. A couple hours go by and the others come down Raiku hugging Senente from behind and smiles,"And good morning to you too Rai." he lets go and looks in the room the girls were seeing Everest playing by the door while Yuki played further away by the window,"Sen, she still is a little bit spooked?" "I think so but I think shes getting better the inncident last night was bound to happen we just need to give her time." Senente thinks for a minute and thinks an idea. "Hey Rai.....why dont we see if Naruto want to come over, she'll want to see her big brother and I bet that will do the trick." "You know that might actually wotk that way we can do some things around the house while he tries to get her out of her fear shell." he nods as Senente dials the phone. Raiku hears the conversation and goes in to see the girls seeing Yuki a little out of her head and had an idea as he picked her up,"You look a little tired didnt get much sleep?" Yuki doesnt say anything with tipped him,"Why dont you take a little nap so your not so cranky......plus I think once you wake up you'll be a little happy." He smiles as she slumps on his shoulder and lays her down on the couch laying the quilt on her.

He tries to shake her again but still Senente refused to come to and Raiku had one word in his mind....overdose. "Sen please hang on I wont lose you like this please no I'll get help just stay with me." He runs downstair fast grabbing the phone and calling Saskuke for help,"Yes Senente accidently took another pill and the other was still in her system please I need your help now." he hangs up running by the girls scaring them,"Daddy whats wrong is mommy alright....daddy? Yuki asks as he turns to her,"Mommy is in trouble just....just....stay here you and Everest please be good for daddy." and he runs back up into Senente's room picking her up on his shoulder and heads back down, the girls see her and tried to come to Raiku but she stops them.


"Girls! please....just do this for me while I help mommy.....just stay here." they looks at him teary eyed and watched him leave from the window. Saskuke meets him at the pier and sees Raiku was not kidding,"Raiku we need to get her treated soon if it is overdose." "I know lets get her to the city soon." he nods and both men help on and take off with Raiku holding her close sobbing for her to wake up as Saskuke realizes he left the girls,"What about the girls?....theyre alone in the house." "Well Naruto was suppose to play with Yuki but something came up and he had to cancel but the girls know not to disobey me....they'll stay in the house." Raiku says as he stroked Senente's hair.


They make it to the pier and a medic team was waiting to rush her over to the hospital while Raiku and Saskuke waited in the lobby, a few hours go by while Raiku paces hoping that the next one out would be to tell them whats going on but each time was a false alarm, a doctor comes out and the men rush to him. "She had a lot of the drug in her system but Senente will be alright you got her here just in time she'll be alright to go once she wake up in a hour or so." Raiku sighs in relief and follow the doctor to Senente resting in a bed, knowing she was alright put a sense of security that nothing was going to get worse,"Sen......that was close......so close but now your fine I can actually take a breath." he says stroking her hair sitting while Saskuke watched from the doorway,"Raiku I didnt mean to intrude but what about the girls they've been alone for almost half the day....shouldnt you...well." he looks up at the time and realizes the girls were alone but was asured they would listen to his command,"I know but they know better and Yuki still partially shocked shes not as rebellious like before and very calm....say could you-" Saskuke takes on look and caught on,"I getcha.....I'll be over there." he says and leaves.


He gets back to the island noticing the house was pretty quiet and grew a little worried, opening the door he calls for them and sees their dolls on the floor and scavages every place they could hide till he looks to see red eyes staring at him under the stairs. "Its alright...I know you two were alone for awhile but I'm here for the hour your parents are in down...Yuki come out." her eyes disappear and she comes out looking down and looks up to him but he kept his guard up thinking it was a trick but instad of a prank Yuki raised her arms looking sleepy. Realizing Raiku was right Saskuke picked her up and she slump in his arms asleep and sits on the couch with her looking for Everest, she comes out and climbs on the couch and rest her head on him and he sighs,"Well at least they wont be hiding anymore with someone here....two little kids not knowing what is happening and left to fend for themselves."


Everest stirs and sees him,"Saskuke?....wheres mommy and daddy?" "Mommy got real sleepy and went into town but she'll be up and home in a hour." "Oh" she says and falls back asleep. He smirks and looks at Yuki surprised to actually see her behave from the past experiences but as he looks at her closer reconizes her moon shimmering yet her headband was on the other side of the room,"What the?....a moon on her forehead but thats-" he thinks and tilts Everest's headband reveiling her moon and now he was questioning himself....these girls wernt normal human girls.

With just a few minutes in front of her Senente makes it to the rink with Rin looking for her,"There you are I heared what happened you sure your alright to skate?" she asks concerned but Senente sighs,"Yeah the doctor said it was close but I'll be fine I'm here arnt I?" Feeling a little secure Rin follow her inside to the locker room while looking back at her computer,"So Sen your girls did this?...I never heared something like it before like its a new type of voicing beyond a human yet your girls did it I wonder how."


Senente looks at her smiling but stuggled to think of what to say not wanting to just blurt out Yuki and Everest use a demonic mating call trick to alter their voices differently,"Yeah Yuki made that one for the show and I thought it would match as well.....shes got some talent." "You know she does I remembered when she came to the rink with Naruto and I was amazed how flexible she was for only just starting to be on the ice....how come she hasnt been around much?"Rin asks. "Well she has been very bad lately so she cant leave the island for some time." Senente says and goes out to the ice ready for the music to start.


Back at the house Raiku was grabbing dinner out to cool as he called the girls, Everest ran up to him fast but didnt see Yuki,"Yuki its dinnertime......Yuki?" he calls but doesnt get an answer and sets Everest up. Coming to the couch Raiku sees a flash of black and knew it was her as he heared tapping in the wall,"Yuki sweetie I need you to eat." Looking right by him Yuki was perched on the couch starting to irritate him a tad and tries to pick her up. Just as he put his hands and her waist she snarls and try to squirms out,"Yuki Hatchi! what is wrong with you tonight you were so good with the sitter and now you start up?" he says and hoists her onto his shoulder as she hisses,"Yeah yeah keep on hissing its time for dinner and your gonna-" just as he goes by the divider Yuki flicks her nails out and digs into the wall railing anchoring to it not wanting to go further.


Aggitated Raiku tugged on her legs but every try she would drag on the wall goudging it snarling and hissing, just as he had enough he turns her around to see her face and notices her moon wasnt shimmering anymore. "Wait.......Shiro was healing her when it was glowing and Yuki was calm but its...dim and...back to black and the silver lining she's....oh great." Raiku thinks as he knew that Yuki was back to being her rebellious, stubborn self which he knew ment trouble, Yuki looks at him and goes quiet but as Raiku felt secure and takes on step she lundges at his face knocking him down and plainly attack him having him yell as Everest heared in the diningroom.


"Ah Yuki stop thats hurts ah! quits it stop scratching me!" he yells but hes tuned out with Yuki's hissing and he finally gets her off above her as she swing in his arms to get at him. Everest looks from the other room but wasnt too quick to go over to see whats wrong mainly because she exactly knew what was causing Yuki's sudden temper reading from a book from when they snuck around home alone, it was the manuel she used to figure out how to raise the girls and Everest look at a chapter about the kitsune features trying to wonder why her past mother had them along as her grandfather in portrait.

Looking she couldnt read too well but knew by the diagram pictures that those with the trait of the kitsune of any kind would develop the ears and tail when their young and their aditutes will change dramatically since their in pain where the parts are growing in this sense Yuki's head and back. She snaps out of it and looks back with the two rolling on the ground with several things crashing in their path along with a mix of swearing and hissing, she looks at them till she hears the door open.

It was obvious he wasnt gonna leave her alone till she spilled and just by looking at his face he had something up his sleeves,"Rai?....why are you looking at me like that?.....oh....dont...even....think-" he lundges at her and wraps his arms on her waist almost close to tickling her but just out of reach, she squirmed to get free but his grasp held tightly. "Alright.....I'll talk just let me free." Raiku smiles acting victorious but duck over as Senente bops him in the back of the head getting her payback,"Geez Sen so violent....I was just curious...but still I wanna know."

Senente sits back down,"Anyways....it was good and like normal, Rin liked the music I chose and almost had me blurt out the true sound but I improvised a story." she tells about it and he agreed it was a good night for her and that shes finally back to doing what she liked and it was taking stress off her,"Well I'm glad you had fun and its good your going back to your regular routine....you'll do well the next show everything you perform we love." Raiku says as he gets her pill from his pocket and gave it to her. She takes in and snuggles in her covers for the night but before she turned she sees her book selves messed up,"Rai?....were the girls in my room? all the books are scattered around." she asks as he walks over to them he spots the girl's manuel open on the ground showing the nightshade family portrait below the chapter Everest was looking at, he reads a little and thinks of something,"Sen?.....I think I have a hunch about Yuki's sudden outburst tonight.

" Senente looks at him,"Really? what? I just thought it was because she was back to normal and or you were in her territory making her mad." Raiku takes the book and places it by her,"Look at this section, she showed the same behavior as that time and I think this could be a cause.....like teething as babies the Kitsune parts break in the skin growing under it till they break on their own causing behavior problems that usually last for a couple weeks." he reads but Senente tries to think it off,"Rai....we know Yuki is a ticking bombshell most of the time and besides...we know how to handle her." "But Sen Everest knew this or something because she just watched when me and Yuki went at it."

Both of them think and Senente tells him its fine and pulls the covers over her as he turned off the light. Thinking about the reading Raiku decided to prove that maybe Yuki wasnt snarling in pain but just being aggressive and decides to sneak into her room to looks for prove, he sees her asleep huddled in her blanket like a burrow breathing calmly,"I have to see.....just as a precaution and to ease my mind." he thinks as he pulled the cover off her lightly and looked around her head for anything but with her hair black it was hard to tell so he check her back and as he pulled her night shirt he caught a glimpse and backed away almost, there was a small bruise on her lower back and he knew what he feared was the truth and an explanation.

And he had that hunch for quite a long time ever since he remembered them first coming here that Everest latched on to Senente pretty well and after Yuki tried to pounce him, he laughs thinking about it how from his view his bond with Yuki was mainly with her trying to be better then he was seeing if he would go down but its funny to see her try. Raiku goes back to sleep and waits till it was a little later in the day and the sun was up higher.

The day turns to early afternoon before Raiku wakes on his own and hears Senente doing dishes and Everest laughing probably helping her but didnt hear Yuki and grew curious going up to her door,"Yuki honey are you in there I'm coming in now.....honey?" he says but sees a dimmed room and a small blanket burrow with a small hand coming out, he goes to her bed and genty lift her hand in his,"Honey? c'mon time to wake up are you alright?" he asks digging deep into the blanket but as his hand glides to her back she flinches slightly and whimpers.

Raiku looked at her with a concerned look thinking it was the bruise on her back and head covered her back up and headed down stairs into the kitchen finding a pain reliving herb to make a paste but as he went back up Senente spots him,"Why you going back up Rai?....waking Yuki?" he studders and thinks of something,"Um no I was going to put a cloth on her shes not feeling too good but I'l take care of it its nothing." he says on his way up making an excuse and goes back into Yuki's room, taking athe pain herbs he chews them in his mouth for a few second minding the foul taste and took it out making a rough paste,"Here, this should ease the bruise a little" he says rubbing it on Yuki's bruise as she flinched in her sleep and covered her back up. Just as he shut the door he looks at her again and thinks back at the bond factor and realizes he and Raiku get along well for their tough aditudes while Senente and Everest's bond were more gentle, he smiles closing the door.
