▲▼▲▼Aureolin Sen "Fair enough. Hmmm...lets go this way." Aureolin pointed down the hall and to the right. While he did pick the point at random, it felt like a nice choice. Aureolin hoped that it led SOMEWHERE...Somewhere with a definitive landmark...Somewhere where he could plot a map in his head. It was a royal pain that Craig couldn't even scratch the metal. "So, he said, where were you guys before you woke up here?"

...in front of your very eyes?"
Relieved that she didn't seem angry with him about the heel of the shoe, he gratefully took the other shoe. He was about to smash it against the wall to get the other heel off when Anna-Marie started shouting. Eyes widening, he turned around to face her. He stood there in shock as she finished her rant. What to do now.... Walking up to her, he put a hand on her shoulder, speaking reassuringly. "Hey, don't worry about it. It's all good. It doesn't matter if you saw the color or not." Hearing Aureolin's suggestion to start moving, he quickly turned and smashed the heel against the wall, breaking it off and watching it land a few feet from the other heel. Turning back to Anna-Marie, he handed the shoe to her.
Following Aureolin, he pondered his question to them. It was rather puzzling. "Well...I was at a party first. Then...I thought I made it back to my dorm room, but when I woke up I was lying on the floor of a room here. So, yeah. Make of that what you will. Maybe I was drugged or something." He finished, shrugging his shoulders slightly.

"You were in... a w-war?"
A war? what kind fo war? A village? Village where?! There were villages in this country?
Assuming they were still in her country at all! That's what made this so crazy-
To be honest, Luna looked like she jumped off the front page of a book she read last month. At first maybe Yume juggled the idea that maybe she was from a cosplaying troop, or maybe a re-enactment retreat. She's been to those, but the more and more time she spent with her, she was drawing closer to the idea that she was the real deal!
But that was impossible- she couldn't possibly be a...
a...
A whatever she was. Desperate to keep anchored to reality, she tried to at least comfort her, patting her encouragingly on the shoulder.
" ..heeeey, lets not go there. Best not to assume the worst. As my mom says," she cleared her throat, ' Prepare for the worst- but HOPE for the best!'... good saying neh?"
It was around that time that finally Yume thought she could hear voices echoing in the distance.
She suddenly stopped walking, going very still, cutting off her encouragement speech as her ears strained to listen.
Glancing to Luna, a cautious expression on her face- " ..you hear that?"

Luna nodded at Yume's comment. "Yep, that's right-a war." There was still a sad tone in her voice until the older brunette gave her a light pat on the shoulder.
After hearing her encouraging bit, Luna started to form what was almost a smile on her face. "Thanks. I really appreciated that," the young elf said as she stared into Yume's glowing, reassuring eyes.
She tenesed up as her ears picked up the strange noise. Her hearing was probably stronger that Yume's since she had ultrasonic hearing. "Yeah, I hear that too," Luna replied, more alert. "Sounds like it came from straight ahead."

• Ɇver Ⱥfter βetter Get Ңere... ღxxxx Ⱥɴиɑ-Ӎɑɍɪεxxxxღ [ ooc: It feels like it's been forever...] xxxxȺt least Craig wasn't being an a** to her anymore. That helped a lot. She couldn't help but smirk when he broke her heel again, handing it to her. Putting it on, she tested it, frowning and looking at her feet before shrugging. It felt weird, to say the least, but it was better than getting blisters and being in pain all the time. Besides, maybe Craig was feeling a little better because he got to stab the crap out of the wall twice. How many people got an opportunity like that hmm? The listened silently, following after the two as they spoke with one another. Craig definitely looked like the type to go to a party. She, however, attended far more sophisticated things and felt highly uncomfortable in regular social outings.
"I was performing in a violin concert," she responded gently frowning. "All I can remember is the curtain going down and the sounds of clapping. I don't see why anyone would want to kidnap me or...you, for that matter...no offense," she added, looking at the two boys ahead of her. She still considered Mr. Sententia to be weird (and why anyone would want to kidnap a weirdo she had no idea), and Craig seemed to...well...rash, it seemed. He looked like he could put up a fight. So...what reason was there to pick on him? No one would dare to kidnap her because she would unsure they met a painful demise. They would get caught if they even tried.
"Honestly, I feel like I'm in a horror movie. With all this weird stuff going on with me, I feel like a scientist is going to come up behind me and just experiment on me...Y'know?"

It's hard to believe that Luna was in a war, even harder to believe the conclusion she was starting to make- no way- Luna couldn't possibly be a...a...
Naaaaaaaah- this was just one big dream right? She must;ve already fallen asleep? No, no thats a lie, even she knew it wasn't possible. Because she always dreamed the same thing.
Always.
So- sucking up her own denial, she moved foward and poked her head around the corner.
She cleared enough room, only to catch the sight of a lovely girl (Anna) with spun gold hair ina cocktail dress, er... at least thats the type Yume thought it was. She wasn't very good at names.She appeared just in time to catch the tail end of the girls comment- " me and just experiment on me...Y'know?"
" ...experiment?!" it blurted out before she could help herself. Where they really in a hospital?!

Luna was right behind Yume when she accidentaly blurted out words that probably shouldn't have been repeated. She gasped and instinctively covered up Yume's mouth and pulled her back into the corner, hoping nobody saw them. "Yume! What do you think you're doing!" the elf whispered to the brunete. "Assuming those are guards or something, if they hear us, who knows what they might do to us!"
But since she heard the lord "experiment" all sorts of things churned on in Luna's mind. Experiment...? Is this some sort of research facility or something?"

...If you really all thought that Anna-Marie was stupid, you better think again. She knew new voices when she heard them, and there were definitely new voices in the same area where she was. Turning quickly, she saw a flash of brown dart behind a corner, her blue green eyes narrowing. Aureolin (useless number one) and Craig (useless (...but manageable) number two) didn't seem they were going to do anything about it, so, it was all left to her. The girl of the group. That's right, a girl had to go take care of any suspicious followers. Way to be gentlemen. Really. Creeping silently towards the corner (now that the heels of her shoes were slammed off, courtesy of Craig, the blond woman paused when she heard female whispering voices.
"...who knows what they might do to us!"
"Excuse me?!" came the offended tone of the blond girl, staring at a girl with strange pointed ears, and the girl who was the owner of brown hair. "I hope you're not suggesting that I'm some sort of freak who likes to experiment on strangers! Do I look like I belong to a hospital?! If you're looking for the freak, well Mr. Sententia is the one you're looking for. What with the talk of feet and..and...ugh!"
It was more of an exasperated groan than one of disgust or anger. Anna-Marie was at her wits end. People were accusing her, her of being some sort of horrible human being. Did someone this cute looking honestly seem to be the sort to do science work? Especially in a dress like this? Yeah right! Putting her hands on her hips, she looked over at the girls with an expression that she wasn't going to take any wise cracks or jokes or utter nonsense. "My name is Anna-Marie Ainsley and these are my...companions, Craig Ialden and Aureolin Sententia. We've been walking around for some time and were wondering if you happened to know where we are."
Oh please, let these girls have answers other than the fact that they had woken up in a strange place and just wandered around.

As Luna gasped at the fact that they've been caught, she slowly stepped out from the adjacent hall. "S-sorry," she apologized in her usually quiet tone. "I-it's just that we were wandering around the place, and have been a bit on edge, so as far as we know, anybody could be of suspicion." The blue-haired elf sighed. "So I guess that answers your question. We're as in the dark about this place as you are."
Then, Luna conjured up a smile. "I'm Luna, and this is my friend, Yume," she said as she pointed to her partner. She paused for a bit, afraid of the answer to her next question. "Um...you guys didn't happen to see another elf, male, tall, with long reddish-brown hair in a ponytail, did you?"

Listening to Anna-Marie, his opinion of her went up slightly. Well, more than slightly. Violin huh? Definitely amazing. He loved the sound of a well played violin piece. And if she was good...well, it might be worth listening to. He was rubbish at the violin. Well, at any instrument really. "So the violin? How good are you?" He asked casually, nodding his head as she went on, agreeing with her statement about the scientists experimenting on them...wait.... Maybe...maybe she wasn't so far off track....
In no time at all, Craig was starting to ponder what was going on in the facility. As he started to wonder, he stopped paying attention to the world around him entirely. Maybe...maybe we were experimented on. I'll have to check with Anna-Marie...but if her invisibility is something that just happened when she came her... then maybe we got experimented on when we were unconscious. And, if that's the case, then does that hold true for everyone? Was that why that man could manipulate the metal? Or the guy with electricity? Did...did something happen to me? Finishing his thoughts, he looked down at his hand, closing it into a fist and flexing it.
Still looking at his fist, he started to come out of his little trance, not catching on to the fact that two more people had joined them. "Hey, Anna-Marie, I have something to ask you. Back when the Lightning Boy was still here, when you did that invi-" He stopped, noticing the other two for the first time. "Erm...sorry?" He said, hearing something about an elf. Stepping up next to his Anna-Marie, he looked at the two girls, sizing them up. They didn't necessarily look dangerous. But, then again, who knew?
"I'm sorry, but did you say elf?" He asked, wondering if she was really an elf. Or crazy. Entirely possible.

Luna looked at the other man. "Yes, I did say elf. Is that strange?" Why is it that everytime I mention my race, I get a confused look? Maybe elves are rare to come across here...
"Here, I even have proof," she said as she pointed to her pointy ears. "Now as I asked before, did you see another one, male with long reddish-brown hair?" Luna was becoming very anxious. She wanted to see her brother and know he was okay!

Came the muffled reply from beneath Luna's hand Yume blinked wide eyed at Anna-Marie. When she was finally released, Yume's face slipped into a disapointed frown when it appeared the fancy blond was about as clueless as they were about the situation here.
At least they shared her surprise at seeing Luna. But she felt for the girl, she seemed to be getting irritated every time, it's not like they're racist or something but-... so sue them if seeing REAL elves was a new thing! She'd like to see real Shaolin Monks, doesn't means she'll see some any time soon.
"Umm...yaaaah-" she stiffled a yawn," We're looking for her brother. Judging by your surprise, I'm guessing you've not seen him neh?"
' Poor Luna...'
" Well, best not be rude- yes, I'm Yume, last name i-..is *Yaaaaaaaaawn* ...ermmm.. Krospi. Sorry about that." She slapped her cheeks lightly with her hands. Blinking the sleep out of her eyes, Yume took a look at the others with Anna-Marie. Craig Ialden and Aureolin Sententia, though she didn't know which was which.
The one in the dark outfit looked kinda cute. The other very... pronounced, and imposing.
Both were a contrast to Anna-Marrie, making her pretty and danty self look even more feminin and innocent. If you ignored her indignant tone of voice. In Yume's eyes, she was the prim and proper lady every little girl wants to grow up into.
Luna was strong, wild and graceful, where Anna was elegant , diciplined and refined.
Yup- she was the odd one out alright! Least you had all types here now as far as women went!
"So, we're not much farther from an explaination then before, but at least we know we got people from all walks of life here. Good to know. I'd be the mental pacient here if this really was a hospital. So it must be something else if you people are here."

Yay for summer!] xxxx Anna-Marie stared at Craig silently for a moment with an 'are you serious?' expression on her face. Did he really just ask that? "Let's just say that music was my first language...does that help?" She wasn't necessarily one to brag and tried not too...but even she had to admit she was rather good at her instrument. Music always came easy to her (as well as the other things that she had been taught vigorously by her parents). She was like a swimmer in the water. It didn't matter what type of water...they always were at ease and home in the water. Such as it was with her and an instrument. Especially her violin. "Hmm? They were both interrupted as the two girls appeared. It seemed that their own conversation would have to wait for a little bit longer.
"Apology accepted." came her response to the girl. She was quick to forgive. Hell, she herself would have jumped to that very conclusion if she had overheard her conversation...and...wandered the halls...still. A sigh soon found it's way pushed past her lips as the other admitted she didn't know where she was. Great. Did anyone know where they were? She was about to be polite and speak when Luna caught her off guard.
...A what?
She glanced over at Craig, utterly befuddled at this. Apparently he felt the same way as she did. Her expression soon twisted to one of complete and utter disbelief as Luna showed them her ears. ...Someone was waaaaay too into Lord of the Rings, it seemed. "Uh...no...I haven't seen an...elf around here. Nor anyone with long hair. Sorry." Hold on a second. An elf wasn't the weirdest thing she had seen by far. She's seen a freaky electric guy and she had experienced herself turning invisible. An elf wasn't that weird compared to everything else that had happened to her yet. Her green blue eyes glanced over at Craig for a few seconds before looking back at the other girls, a soft smile on her lips.
Her attention was drawn to the yawning girl nearby. "Are you...alright? Maybe she wasn't getting enough oxygen to the brain or something...
"There are some people I'd rather not run into again, though. There's normal people...and then there's utter freaks here." Running her hands through her hair, she looked past the two girls down the hallway before back at Craig and Aureolin. "...Should we continue looking around with these two? I think it'd benefit us in more ways than one." In other words, if some freak came after them again, they'd have an even bigger group to fend them off!

"...Well, yes. It is a bit strange. I've never seen an elf aside from in movies. To be frank, they were but a myth to me. Now...I'm not sure what to believe anymore." He said to Luna, hoping not to offend her. With very few allies, or people who didn't seem to want to kill him right after meeting him, around he couldn't afford to push another one away. "I'm sorry though. I haven't seen your brother." He felt bad for her, considering her brother was obviously important to her, but he wasn't going to lie about it. Hell, he had never really gotten the whole sibling thing. He liked being an only child. But, whatever.
Glancing over at Yume, he wondered if she had just woken up or something. Personally, he had woken up with a headache, but that was just him. "I can agree with that. There are definitely people that I wouldn't want to meet again. There was one man that I wanted to settle things with though..." He trailed off at that point, seeming to gaze down the hallway, but not seeing it. He was reminiscing about the man who manipulated metal and the little girl with him. Oh, if he could he would most definitely pay him back for the attack.
"Hey, just because you haven't seen him yet doesn't mean he isn't here. This is a pretty big place. There are probably plenty of places where he could be at." Or he could have been attacked. But Craig had enough decency to not mention that prospect. Now onto Anna-Marie's thought. Would it be better to go with these two? It would mean having more people to, hopefully, scare off others. Granted, while Aureolin and him might be able to intimidate some people, it might be diluted by the fact that they had three smaller, more petite women with them. Well, unless he threw Anna-Marie at them. The thought caused Craig to smile slightly. The woman could probably talk them away. Or yell them away. Fiery woman that she was.
"If you two would like to come with us, it would probably be better than if you were to just wander around the halls yourself. Just...don't try to hide behind Anna-Marie." He said, no offense meant, a slight smile on his face as he glanced over at her.
