(Nice I'm listening to Concrete Angel by Martina McBride.) Dusk looked up as if looking for something. "I don't know..." Dusk hopped off my stomach and started to run. I jumped up following the cat.

I ran after Dusk as she zig-zagged in the grass. I laughed as she pounced on a bug. I noticed a mouse in the grass a few feet away. I leaned down to the cats ear. "Lets see who can get it first." Dusk purred her approval and we pounced on the mouse.

By the time we caught the mouse Dusk sat on my head, mouse in her mouth. "Cheater." I mumbled blowing hair out of my face. "She's so small she can change directions faster! Grrr... sometime a cat body comes in handy." I laughed. Dusk sat tall almost as if waiting for praise.

Shadow pounced on my feet. My flats had fallen off while playing with Dusk so he started to bite my feet. I laughed. It was only love bites like Dusk's. She dropped the mouse in the grass and leaned down to look me in the face. Shadow pounced on Dusk sending them sprawling in the grass. I giggled as he fur puffed with annoyance. Shadow replaced her on my head. "All this was over who would sit on my head?" I laughed, cats can be so weird sometimes. Shadow lay down and purred Dusk cuddled into the small of my back. What did I look like? A cat jungle gym? Or... maybe since I'm a cat they think I'm a replacement mother until Moonlight can care for them.

Shadow started to chew on a stray strand of hair that fell across my face. I could feel Dusk stalking up my back... until she pounced on Shadow sending them head over hills onto the grass.

I tried to hide my surprise... second time in the night... "Welcome back." I rolled over onto my back and smiled at him.
