The shopkeeper looked down, her eyebrows pulled together. "That's not what you should be saying to your aunt, is it?"
Loralei slapped a hand to her forehead. "This was a mistake..." She shook her head. "Come on, Alucard, we're leaving." Loralei looked at the shopkeeper, who looked somewhat disapproving. "We'll be back when Alucard is in a better mood..." She dragged him out of the shop.

"Only for you it is.." Alucard promptly left Loralei as fast as he could. He couldn't stand being near her any longer. He suddenly stopped, glanced up to the side and saw the sign for the bakery. He felt strangely drawn to it and walked over to look at the display.

Loralei sighed exasperatedly as she followed Alucard into the throng of people. I think he actually thinks that he'll get away. Which is really sad, since I thought he would be smarter than that... Oh well. No use worrying over dumb vampires.
She caught him heading towards the bakery with an odd expression on his face. What is he doing...?

Alucard eyed the display, and then he heard a voice in his mind, Aaaahh!! I want to try them all!.
"Hmph...must be imagining things.." Alucard turned away to walk down the street.
Aww...I wanted to stay longer...
Alucard stopped, thoroughly confused by the voice, "Stay longer..??"
He looked back towards the bakery, feeling the urge to return, Am I going to head back? I wonder if I'll buy pastries..I hope they're extra sweet!
"I hate sweet things..." Alucard mumbled as he returned to the bakery display.

Loralei watched Alucard with a questioning look in her eyes. Now what...? She walked up to Alucard, and squinted at him in her confusion. "Do you want something?" Loralei asked, noticing Alucard eyeing the treats in the bakery.

Loralei grinned widely and said, "Welcome back sweetie!" She ruffled little Alucard's hair, and said, "So... would you like some treats?"
She opened the door for Alucard, ready for him to burst inside. "After this, we'll go shopping for clothes. We can't have you running about in my old ones... people might think you're a girl." Loralei smiled sweetly.
