Kuro had been enjoying his noodles, humming to the birds who had decided to perch on his shoulders and head. He continued to hum as he ate, enjoying the nice warm sunny day. He didn't think he'd get company aside from the birds that were with him.

Maria let Kearia loose, and the kitten practically went insane from running all over the place. Maria chased after her, until she came across the kitten sitting in front of Kuro again, mewling up at him happily and occasionally batting at the birds that were all around/

Kuro glanced up from his lunch to see a familiar kitten chasing around his little bird friends as he tried to eat. He almost lost his bowl as well! He kept trying to play keep away with his food and his birds, wondering where the girl was to try and catch her cat.

Maria quickly got there, grabbing Kearia from midair and sitting down with the little kitten. "No! I told you not to chase birds!"

Kuro looked up to see Maria and he smiled softly. He waved to her as he got up, the birds flying back to land on his shoulders and head. He finished up the last of his lunch before smiled at her once more, heading inside too.

Once Maria was sure that Kuro had gone back inside, she released the kitten, letting her chase a butterfly across the grounds. As long as the soul-stealer could see the kitten, she didn't move.
Meanwhile, class was being let out and Demetri was heading to his brother in law's classroom to let him know that Kuro had cut his class. It was unusual, so he thought the boy might have taken sick. Things like that were important to everyone to tell Luke. After all, nobody wanted to know what would happen if something happened to Kuro, too.
Because of Maria's hiding, nobody but Ghost, Anya, Luke, and Kuro knew she was there.

Luuke had been on his way to get something to eat himself when he ran into Demetri. He was curious on what the wizard would want with him until he heard the news. "Kuro did what?!" the wolf thanked Demetri before going to find his son. Once the young prince had been found, Kuro was seized by his ear, making him whine a little as he was dragged off for punishment.

Maria retreated back into the castle as the students were let out, wandering through the halls again. Until she ran into somebody-literally. The man had long black hair and looked rather puzzled, but seemed to recognize her.
Demetri's jaw dropped as he ran into a miniature Kaya with a kitten in her arms. "You...You...Kaya..." Quickly, he teleported to where Luke was dragging Kuro. "Mini Kaya! Here!"

Luke glanced to Demetri as he began to spaz. The wolf only sighed, still dragging his son along by his ear. "Yes Demetri. That is my daughter. Currently a soul-stealer. We're working on merging her soul and her body. Please don't spread this around. I know how much you like to gossip, brother." he said before leading Kuro off. He ahd gotten into the habit of calling the wizard 'brother.' After all, they were brothers now.

Demetri gaped after Luke for a few moments as he watched the two walk away. He got bumped into by a few students, but he just went back to what he was doing: hunting down a student who hadn't turned in their homework.
Maria was a little confused by the exclamation the man had made, and she went on to the library, planning to exhaust herself with reading until she was ready to head to bed.

Luke led Kuro to a library and sat him down at a table, placing the work he had missed in front of him. "Now you are going to do this work and you aren't going to bed until it's done." Kuro just sighed and nodded softly. "Y-Yes father...."

Maria once again heard a disturbance that made her jump, as the familiar voice of Luke--her father--told Kuro to do his work. She frowned, feeling he was being rather harsh towards his son.

Luke looked down at his son as the prince began his classwork. But that sad, pitiful face... the older wolf just sighed some, patting the boy on the head. "Maybe.... Just do half. But once you get up tomorrow, do the rest and make sure to go to class." Kuro looked up at his father and smiled slightly, nodding. The older wolf smiled down at the boy as he resumed his work, Luke going to bed himself.

As soon as Luke had left the library, Maria appeared again, looking at the homework Kuro still had to do. "Want some help? That looks like a lot to do before bed...."

Kuro looked up to see Maria, and he smiled some. He nodded a little and divided the work in half. Half for him, and half for her. He hoped she'd be able to help him. He wanted to go to bed so soon.
