Lady Pyre Sevi Rais Pyre: Wow, a whole year. I thought the inflation was caused in part because of Dolphins giving users so much gold. Sigh, Gaia, Gaia, Gaia. Did you read this article? Craig Sherman is no longer CEO? Yeah, I knew there was a new CEO. And there are a lot of things causing inflation, but most of them can be linked back to Aquariums. Fish giving too much gold, users abusing glitches to make those fish live longer, sites that use code to make glowing easy to find when Gaia intended you to have to search for tanks, etc. It's a giant ********. And since Gaia so brilliantly released Aquariums as a cash-only feature with no real testing as to how it would impact the economy, any time they try to fix it it is met with baw. Gaia has a loooooooong history of not caring about the economic effects of what they do. razz

To add to what Aldo said, Gaia also had a history of NOT knowing how the economy works, besides of not caring for it.

I believe Sagger is the economist for Gaia. Aquariums are like a monkey wrench thrown in there. @_____@

Aldo Gaia has a loooooooong history of not caring about the economic effects of what they do. razz True. But they've actually tried to fix this mess a bit. They nerfed some of the high-yield fish, which got a lot of angry responses from people who had bought them to make money off of. And even I can see their point. So they didn't do that again. Then they nerfed how many times a tank would glow per day, which was met with baw until they made up some story about "accidentally altering the code" and switched it back. Kinda wished they hadn't given in to that one. Then, they took some of the high gold producing fish out of Phing Phang, which you think would be a perfect solution since it doesn't affect people who already bought them, but no. More baw.

Thanks, Ollie. I loled at the description. I ran around saying that for a month after seeing those Despicable Me commercials.

I just wish it had bat wings on its head. For no real reason...
I'm honestly surprised that the few items I like out of this rig are decently priced. Though perhaps that's due to a majority of the items being rather bleh.

Sevi Rais Aeolusis Was stupid yesterday. Hit my knee hard enough on a table in the college cafe that I pried up my knee cap enough and bruised underneath it. Still hurts after 18 hours. It hurt more after driving back home from school last night. Been keeping it freshly iced. Woke up at 5:50 in pain. Had folded my leg enough in my sleep. Its going to be a fun weekend healing my knee. #fml gonk gonk gonk gonk ! I hope you feel better, Ryo!! heart Yeah, plenty of ice will help it. I hurt both my kneecaps really bad too last year after I fell on the sidewalk when I was scared by the monsters from Halloween Horror Nights. After I fell a lady asked if I was all right and I said yeah, after which the monsters started attacking me again. crying wtf my kneeeeee~ haha, they didn't care. Yeah, So do I. I don't want to be gimping around campus more then what is necessary. sweatdrop Well the Halloween Horror Nights is supposed to scare you for entertainment. If you're okay they have full right to continue scaring you, if you told her that you weren't I'm sure she'd had gotten you to a nurse at the park. And the monsters wouldn't have started attacking you right away.

I think I'll be able to buy most of them for 20k in a couple of days. And the panda layers behind the ship background, so it looks like there is a giant... giant panda... attacking my ship. xp

...watching him play through the last mission of Halo: Reach made me cry really hard. I knew it was going to be sad, but jeez, that was awful.
The Danish Days thing in Solvang was really cute, though.

I hate being sick grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I hope I'm not sick all freaking winter. That would bite. Hard.
Also, I find it amusing that Gaia has its own economist, and yet, the economy gets screwed worse and worse with each new feature. Gotta love it, eh?
I still shoot myself thinking about when I first got active on Gaia, could have bought minis for 20k. BUT THAT WAS SO MUCH MONEY!! I remember going, "holy ********, 20k? That'll take me like months to get."
Good times.

20k DID take months to get, though. I remember saving like crazy to buy a nightmare headband, because you just weren't cool without one. Now you can make that in half an hour if you really try.
