Kuro just laid in his bed, sighing slightly. He didn't want to go to sleep now. He wanted to play with the kitten. But it probably had an owner already. And it didn't need him. Which made him feel a little sad. He was taking care of the animals his mother left behind. Luke had told him of his mother. A radiant woman with grace comparable to none. But he wanted his mother. He wanted to talk to her. At least jsut once. Just one hug, one little kiss or comfort. He loved his father, but he wanted his mother too...

Maria looked out the window, wondering if her mother was still out there. She really wanted her to be. Despite having other biological parents, the other soul-stealer had been the one to take care of her. She started to pet the kitten, and the creature yawned a little. [OOC:] What will we be having happen? Since right now we just have a couple of tired teenagers...

[OOC:] We could fast forward to later and Maria could probably try and get Kuro to talk. PS. Sorry if I type 'Kurow' instead of 'Kuro' I have another character named 'Kurow'.
After a few hours of laying in his bed, thinking, Kuro dragged himself out of his bed and into the shower. After taking a nice warm bath, he began to dress himself. Of course this would take half an hour in and of itself. The clothes he wore were complicated and regal. And he fastened them by himself, which is why it took so darn long.

[OOC:] Alright. I'm just gonna fast forward to later in the week--not too far forward. Through the week, Maria was put under a few enchantments that would keep her from feeding on souls, and to also keep her body from deteriorating as a result of that. However, she was no longer confined to her bedroom. Which was good. She hadn't met anybody aside from Luke (whom she still wasn't convinced was her father) and Anya, but she didn't mind. She would usually wander around the non school parts of the castle with her kitten, Kearia, while the students were in class, and the forest and other grounds while they weren't. That day, she was exploring what was apparently a hall of very old libraries, clearly little used.

[OOC:] Ok. I am so tempted to have Kuro play a flute...
And Kuro found himself in the same library later that week. His Study of Ancient Runes teacher had loaded him up with a huge paper. And this was the only place to get the vital information he needed. So the boy walked around, grabbing book after dusty, cobweb covered book. The young prince soon went to a table and put the books on a table, only to get a plume of thick dust right in his face. Little Kuro suddenly sneezed quite loudly, it reverberating through the aisle of books as the boy took out a cloth to wipe his nose.

[OOC:] That would be cool. Maria was flipping through a book on exotic snakes when she heard an echoing sneeze. Kearia leaped down from the shelf she was on, dashing through the aisles. Quickly, the soul stealer followed the furry little kitten until she stopped. The fluffball was rubbing against the chin of a boy who looked like a miniature of Luke. If what everyone was saying was true, this was her twin. The soul she was supposed to get for her mother--not that that was a valid mission anymore.

Kuro was surprised to find the kitten from before rubbing up against him again. He smiled and pet the kitten softly before placing on the table. He made a motion for the kitten to wait a moment as the prince began to dig around in his royal coat. He soon pulled out a small wooden flute. He then began to play for the little kitten, playing a sweet bouncy melody for the sweet bouncy little kitten.

The kitten began to dance around the table to the music, and then Kearia stopped. She stared at where Maria was hiding in the shadows. She meowled loudly, begging Maria to come out. The soul stealer obeyed, walking over to the table and rubbed her hand over the kitten's head.

Kuro looked up as the kitten stopped and mewled to one of the shadows. He stopped and saw the girl from before come out and pet the kitten. He quickly got up and offered his seat to her, being a gentleman and to let her sit down. It was one of the only chairs not decaying where they sat.

Maria shook her head. "No, it's fine. Go ahead and sit." She felt weird around him, because in the back of her mind she knew that they were twins. "I'm Maria. You are?"

Kuro was still a bit timid. He didn't sit back down, though he got nervous when she asked his name. He wasn't really used to talking. "K-Kuro..." he mumbled quietly, trying not to be so nervous. He tried to put on a polite facade, but it wasn't working.

Maria had to strain her ears to hear what the boy said, but she caught the name. "Well, I guess you're who Kearia's been running off to. Usually she only likes me, so it's pretty amazing she's taken so much to you."

Kuro nodded some, meaning she was correct that the kitten had been running to him. He carefully picked his flute back up and began to play for them. Maybe they would appreciate a song from the quiet prince. To make up for his lack of words.

Maria listened to the music, smiling a little. It was a nice sound, if not the kind of thing she was used to. Kearia began to dance around the table again, mewling happily and finally tripping over her own feet. She went skidding across the table, but Maria caught her before she fell to the ground. The soul stealer carefully looked her over, before setting her down on the table again.

Kuro stopped as the kitten almost fell to the floor. But Maria had caught her which was a relief. The boy didn't know what else to play them. He hadn't really come across any new songs to learn and he hadn't made any more up recently. So he was starting to feel a little awkward.
