Haruki nodded impressed. "Tohru's mother always spoke of how she excelled in her studies. It seems it has transferred to her learning to become a geisha."
His expression softened and a small small creeped across his face as he saw Tohru simply beaming. He smiled, glad to know she would be his one day.

Tohru stood and bowed. "If it would please you, Haruki-san, I'd like to preform a dance for you. Tora-onee-sama, would you please play the music for me?"
She walked forward and whipped out the black fans Hara gave her. The more she danced with the fans, the more she loved them. She was so thankful her sister, now a geisha, had been so kind as to give them to her.

Tora smiled and nodded. She tuned the shamisen and began to strum the instrument. A soft, lovely melody flowed from her fingertips.

Tohru smiled and started to dancing slowly and gracefully, matching the music. She kept her eyes locked with Haruki as much as she could while still twirling her fans. She even threw one of her fans and caught it while keeping her eyes locked with his.
'This is so strange...I'm acting so different than I usually act...but...but I love the effect Haruki has on me.'.
When the music finished Tohru bowed and sat at the table again.

Haruki watched mesmorized and started applauding when Tohru finished. "Very nice, Tohru-san!" he said happily.

Tora placed the shamisen beside her and smiled. "Very beautiful," she smiled. Tora drew her hands up in a clap.

Tohru bowed again and then refilled everyone's tea glasses.
Trying to start a conversation, she asked, "Onee-sama, what was it like when you were a maiko?"

"Please don't worry Yokohana, I am fine." She gave her younger sister a smile. She then set down her tea cup and glanced slowly around the room.

Ariku clapped. "That was very nice." she said and sipped her tea. She then folded her hands on her lap. She sighed and looked out the window into the night sky.

Yokohana nodded to her onee-san as she looked to Hara again. Reaching she lightly took a bite from her chopsticks. She smiled as she swallowed the rice and set the bowl aside.

Kaida smiled and sipped her tea. She fanned herself and dreamed of herself as a geisha. Kaida smiled as visions of her collar being turned and the white around her neck flooded her vision. She imagined her raven-black hair in the geisha style.

Tora looked up and smiled at the sound of a new arrival. When she saw who it was her smile widened and her cheeks turned a crimson red. "Hi-Hirose-san!" she cried out in her mind. "He made it!" Her eyes regained their water-like sparkle and her heart jumped with happiness. "Hirose-san," Tora waved. "Over here," she said calling out to him. Tora stood to meet him half-way. She smiled and bowed to him. "I'm so glad you could make it," she said, smiling again.
