Adie chuckled, hoping that he realized she was kidding around her her answer. Except maybe the condo part. She always wanted to own beach-front property. Cody jumped over the back of the couch to sit next to her, a grin coming to her lips as she shifted around on the couch so she was laying on her back, head resting on his leg as she looked up at him while he gave his answer. It was much more serious than the one she gave.
"Forever is a really long time I'm afraid. But it makes more sense than a lot of things," she said with a smile up at him, gently reaching up and brushing a stray lock of hair from his face.

He smiled at her comment. "You know what I mean," Quickly correcting himself, he said, "Not forever, but for a long time." He wanted a quick subject change, just so an explanation wouldn't be necessary.
"So, I really missed you while I was gone."

"Really? Well, I kind of missed you too. Just a little bit," she said with a grin on her lips, though her tore her gaze from him with a pretend sigh. Laughing after a moment, however, she couldn't keep up the charade, and so she adjusted slightly on the couch, making eye contact with him once more, biting her lower lip gently.

"Just a little bit?" Cody asked her, smiling and laughing back. He coked his head playfully, noticing her bite her lip. "Got somethin' to say?" he continued to smile at her, not really sure why.

"Nah, just that I missed you a lot a bit," she said with a laugh, leaning up and planting a soft kiss on his lips before settling down on the couch once more, sticking her tongue out at him playfully.

Cody blushed, realizing they had never really actually kissed before. "A- A lot, a bi- a bit, huh?" he managed to finally ask her, stammering in surprise. Apparently she had missed him more than he thought.
He cleared his throat softly and looked at her deeply. "Would you..." He couldn't say it. It was all on the tip of his tongue, but nothing came out. Cody wanted, more than anything, to say it. To just let everything out.

Laughing slightly as he stammered, she crossed her arms over her chest, realizing that what she said really didn't make much sense. Unfortunately for her, things tended to sound better in her head than when she actually said them. However, she was saved from having to explain anything when he started to say something, though he cut himself off before he finished.
"Would I..." she asked, tilting her head to the side as she tried to lead him into finishing his sentence. Whatever it was, she wanted to know if it was a good or a bad thing.

Cody was slowly bringing his thoughts into order when she basically asked him to finish his sentence. "Would you, maybe, possibly, consider making something between us... Official?" He bit his tongue softly, holding it between his teeth for dear life, though he knew it could only go two ways and really wasn't as heart-stopping as he was making it.

"That would be a maybe, possibly yes," she said with a grin, looking up at him with a small grin. She had no idea what anyone else would think about their relationship, but at this point she figured it didn't matter. As long as they were relatively quiet about it, there shouldn't be a problem.

"Awesome!" he smiled brightly at her, not exactly knowing what she meant by possibly. "I can't even imagine what Sammy's reaction is going to be... You know her. Can't get her off the subject of kids," he said, starting to chuckle lightly. Maybe this was what he meant earlier. Maybe this would be the one thing he cold hold onto forever.

"Oh man, Sammy will flip. Hopefully she can get her mind off kids for a while though," she said with a small chuckle, picturing what her friend's reaction was going to be when she heard he news. The thought only broadened the smile on her face as she laughed, sitting up so she was next to him, crossing her legs so she was sitting Indian-style.

"Yeah. Seriously. If she can't, we're kinda screwed," his smile grew, knowing EXACTLY how she would react. She was, of course, his big sister. He pretty much knew the first thought that would cross her mind. When are kids coming? Are you guys thinking about it yet? Kids kids kids. Kids would be nice... Someday. DEFINITELY NOT NOW!

Adie laughed, imagining the conversation in her head. Knowing that nothing like that would be happening any time soon, she leaned over, planting a kiss on his cheek before standing, stretching her arms over her head.
"Sorry to kiss and run, but I need to hit the hay. I'll see you tomorow, ok?" she said with a smile, blowing him a kiss before she disappeared into her room, flopping down on her bed. Houndour leapt up onto the bed, Adie hugging her pokemon as she thought about the day before drifting off into a light sleep.

Sammy yawned a bit as she walked in, her feet playing a melody on the floor as she toed her way into the room. Her body stiffened, though, and her nose lifted into the air. "Do I smell..... Mr. Cody and Adie? Stale scent, but..." Sammy's eyes grew wide and a giant grin appeared. "They better have kids! ^^"

Kai ran into the HQ, screaming random gibberish. He then started to sing a song, very badly. "NARWHALS NARWHASL SWIMMING IN THE OCEAN!" He then dived forward, face first into the couch.
