I'm confused, can someone tell me the actual limits on checks. I'm confused on if the overall check is limited to stat x 5 or if it's stat x 2 + accuracy of item or tech + buffs (limited to stat x 5).

accuracy bonus on a jutsu AND buffs are limited to (statx5) each.
So if you're stat is 50 with the equation stat(x2)+acc+buffs then in an optimal situation you can have:
100 + 250 + 250
|

Okay, thanks that was exactly what I wanted to know, so the max pc is actually stat x 12 but is limited on the buff to x 5 and the accuracy side to x 5. However I remember you said that stat buffs are capped at stat x 2 and are put towards the buff cap so if I had a stat of 50 and I buffed it 50 would my max still be 100 + 250 + 250 or would it then be 200 + 250 +250?
I'm trying to make reconcile how I see it in my head from reading just the rule thread to how it would be posted in an actual battle.
