Ugh... I could probably go to a gamestop and try. Yay! A fellow fire starter!
Ryu: Dang, it really is easy to finish a Pokemon game quickly...
Also, I believe I'm fast enough to dodge Echo's attack but I wanted to double check before I dodged...

I got the Celebi event on the very last day... and I fought Giovanni in silver. Kind of anticlimactic.

I didn't know about a Celebi event, but I did get a Shiny Suicune.

Shadow: Nice combo for them. I have that covered though. I know after the Champion fight I have to catch Zerom then battle N and Gheist
Haru: They never showed ads about a Celebi event here.
