I wouldn't say 'worm' out....but Malik has a more self control. He gone through the babbling like a baby stuff before in front of other avatars/dieties. here's a few from norrath:

Meldrath the Malignant - Disease
Not to mention Planes traveling and such.
Not to say he might not be compelled to certain actions, just that He's not going to burst into tears and say he's responisble for the purian assualt oh please forgive him.

Warren wouldn't expect that kind of reaction from stronger willed poeple. But anything like "Ha ha ha! Your mesely god powers won't work on me, I am malik! ha ha ha!" just ain't gonna flow. ^^
