I can play C&C Generals: Zero Hour 1-on-1 in a skirmish against a Hard enemy and not have a single loss. At the same time, I never throw a single offense against them other than pure WMDs.

Yeah, but a blitzkreig tactic takes all the fun outta it. Plus, I already got the medal for doing that.
What I do is play GLA Stealth General. I build a palace, camo net it, put 4 RPGs and Jarmen Kell inside, and build a stinger site right it to detect stealth units. I build another palace next to it, camo net it, and fill it with RPG guys.
The result: a perma-stealth defense that doesn't decloak when it attacks because the palaces themselves aren't the things attacking, so the enemy has nothing to aim at. Instant death trap. Nothing ever gets through it. I keep a worker behind them to repair the occassional " bump " where the enemies move right on top of them and can attack.
Once defenses are setup I build about 2 Scud Storms ( It's enough to demolish any WMD the enemy builds. ) and do nothing but Black Markets until I get about 25 or so of them.
After that I build more Scud Storms, and wait until I can fire 10+ WMDs at a time on the enemy and annihilate them.

I had a record of about 130-ish nukes in a single game.
I could fire a nuke pretty much 1 after another and never have to wait for any others to count down.

Well, I sometimes use the Super Weapon General because the EMP Patriots kick a** against non-infantry.

not to mention 300% bonus energy from plants means far less power plants needed to power those superweapons.
Still leaves the laser general kind of high and dry...

The Laser General seems kinda pointless.
Yeah, the laser crusaders and laser turrets are nice, but that's hardly what I'd call enough to be a whole different type of general.
