The Thunder Tyrant Armor can't protect you from a D'Arce choke. Nothing protects you from a D'Arce choke. (Unless you wear a gorget.. then they can just choke you with that, I guess.) Whose doing a d'arce choke? Also is the gorget movable or flexible at all? I don't know s**t about armor to be honest.

A gorget can be metal or leather, and how it's designed dictates how flexible it is. Some are moreso than others.

The gorget she wears is flexible in the sense that it has a bit of wiggle room but otherwise it's pretty snug around her neck.
The thing is, she could probably over power the hold with the pinned arm, given her strength.
EDIT: As an aside to Fierach, I didn't dispute that part because Aetyra is all about power and submission. When somebody is able to assert their dominance over her she will do practically anything for them. However, if she gets the upper hand... well... I hope you can deal with never being able to hold a s**t ever again.

Only if you're not man enough to pull it off.
Then again, getting somebody into a D'Arce is nearly impossible in a roleplay fight anyways. If you did though, they'd probably be pretty well ******** because once it's cinched in, it's game over.

It's retarded because a choke relies on being fairly expedient and hitting a psychological nerve.
If your neck is armored you've probably got some other stuff going on, like knives, swords, gauntlets, helmets. Knowing your neck is protected will afford some security, and then after that you're just stabbing the person or busting their face or ribs.

If you did though, they'd probably be pretty well ******** because once it's cinched in, it's game over. I've never got a darcel choke in an RP fight. But I've gotten gogoplata's, plenty of RNC's, key locks, armbars, etc etc but never a darce. I got to pull that off.
