I completely agree with you DBL there is nothing anywhere that says in our constitution that two gay men(or women) can not get married, and they should have the right to get married so yes this a great day in history and i hope it keeps going and we see a true change in our country. Actually also there is nothing in the bible against it either. But i'm not going to get religious in here.

I'm Atheist but I've studied the bible quite intently before I made the decision to become one. That said, in the bible god does state "man shall not lie with another man as he does with a women". So not so much "directly" saying gay marriage is wrong, but succumbing to it's lusts are according to it. I think that's what most anti-gay marriage activists are pointing out (the Christian ones that is, which is the majority of that party).

But yes you are right nothing about marriage but anyway yes today is still a great day in human rights, also thank you for correcting me DBL.

eh, I'm Christian, but I don't particularly care one way or another. If it gets passed, all the power to them, if it doesn't I wont be celebrating anything either.
I don't have anything against gay people (I has a couple friends that are gay, lesbian, or bi), what they do is their thing, and I don't really have a right to get in the way of their happiness.
*shrug*

sorry to burst that bubble kev, but in the same breath as 'man cannot lay with man' in Leviticus it says the same for woman. in the exact same manner except replace man with woman. so. yea ... xP
I only dislike 'fashion gays' the ones that do it 'because its cool' they are the ones that get my dander up. The REAL gay people I have compassion towards because its actually who they are not some game they are playing cause they think they are cute for going against 'social norms'

Their bloodguiltiness is upon them." Now there may be something about a women and women elsewhere, but I've read the bible through and through and don't recall it. Of course women back then had absolutely 0 rights anyways, so I think it hadn't been mentioned because it was never considered.

Well I haven't read it all because I'm no zealot and its my personal faith, the bible... well its just interesting to me I don't completely follow it cause really...
ALSO lets not forget that Jesus was the first womens liberator so he's just awesome and NOT in question, there is plenty of facts that Jesus actually existed and was a real person, the only thing in question is who he was yea.
Anyway it may not be right after that verse, but its in there I know it is, now I have to go find it... maybe...

If you're going to base beliefs off it Ava I'd highly recommend reading the whole thing. I did, unfortunately instead of gaining greater faith it's what made me an Atheist, but to each their own.
Ok, I want to talk further but I don't want to hurt peoples feelings.
So if you're feeling thick skinned (ie won't take anything as a personal attack) I'd be willing to continue the discussion in a civil manner on Skype. Anyone that doesn't want to hear religious beliefs or lack there of please avoid =p
To join add me as darkbunnylord on Skype. I can even toss on my headset after we go through it a bit to talk about whatever guild stuff or otherwise. (or hell even some s4 after)

I have one last thing to say then I'm gonna do somethin else yea. I base my faith on an inner sense, I feel its right to believe in the god I believe in, he is the same one in the bible. However I dont need some old book to tell me how to believe in my creator. I just refer to it at times with questions of morals and such, or occasionally for the more interesting proverbs >w<; but aside from that, no I don't base my faith on it, thats a foolish thing to do. Faith is from inside you, not something a book can give you, what good is faith if your faith is only as strong as some paper.
