As I keep telling my friends: One day, in about 45 years or so, I'll have the money and time to do s**t like this. Build a ******** video game vehicle and go grocery shopping with it (Nod mod comes to mind), build a Guitar Hero drumkit controller and score 99%, star in a blockbuster movie and kiss Monica Bellucci. Well... Maybe I don't want to kiss Monica Bellucci in 45 years, but you get the point.

Dr. Putrid Are we talking PC or TT Space Hulk? Because a TT version would be great. Would give me a reason to make more than 10 Terminators for White Scars after all... Table top. Five terminators pitted against hordes of genestealers in the classic game released twenty years ago.

I have a disticnt feeling that they'll end up releasing it as a supplement, kinda like Cities Of Death... How are they going to make any money selling more miniatures if they don't?

I heard from some guy that it is going to be a complete stand alone boxed set game with limited shelf life, afterwards it will be direct only. It will use the old Space Hulk rules, so it won't be a supplement or expansion to the regular 40k. The tiles are plastic, 3d and will support the current line of stealers and terminators on 40mm bases.

so being bored at work ive started to draw Predator masks for ideas of my 3d modeling, and also started writing a fanfic of my own on the Grey Knights. Not exactly following everything 100% correct in the world of the 40K and the emperor. ...not very far into it yet lol o.O Jon

I'm about to leave Japan (unfortunately) and head back home. But instead of getting to work on the conversions I was planning, it seems like for the next couple of months at least, I'll be bogged down in work. Which means I might as well put all the 40k stuff in a box and take it back into the basement, because there's just no way I'll get around to it. Doesn't work suck that way?

Aww, sorry to hear that dude. Most of my 40k stuff sit pristinely on shelves doesn't do much good but yeah I feel your pain. I hope it works out for you in the end.

Well, I didn't end up taking it to the basement again. It's still covering half of my desk, I just don't get as much time tinkering as I'd like. Although, I did finish two chaplain conversions (was thinking of using a magnet to switch backpack/jumppack, but ended up doing two separate minis).
The bike conversions are safely resting in their respective boxes. Basically, I've got all the pieces, what's left is fitting them together, drilling some holes to fasten the bits with wire, and gluing it all together. But, that's gonna take a whole weekend at least (Space Marine jet bike conversion for the chapter master, Korsarro conversion with lots of small pieces since I took the whole bike apart, and a Scout Bike conversion to a motocross bike which needs a wire skeleton to work). After that, I wanna do a conversion for a mounted tech marine, with an optional side car (attack bike style) for the conversion beamer.
Other projects that I've started but don't have the funds and time for are a unit of LotD marines (got a sergeant and one trooper), a squad of Sternguard vets (got two troopers) and a squad of Vanguard vets (I'm going to use old Death Company models for the original "Souldrinker unit" from 1st edition White Scars).
Last on the list are two squads of Tacs and maybe a Rhino or two, just so I have the basic layout to start gaming again.

Heh, its not easy to just blithely box up your inner creativeness and stuff it in the basement is it!? It's not for me either, I have sooooo many lil 40k projects if I sat and did just one, I'd be making good progress. This month for me its, continued painting my poor forgotten but still loved IG. After that Im setting out to build a new Thunderhawk Transporter, after my old one had a fatal encounter with Romeo one of my young cats. Yeah... turns out Space marines are no match for the awesomely cute and fuzzy cuddly-ness of a 1 year old cat.

I wish bitz orders from Australia got here faster... And Forgeworld takes forever regardless of where in the world they're shipping to. I suppose even if I lived next door to their factory, it'd take a month and half to get a single box of resin pieces.
