kerminatrix I am soooo not interested in doing any of the achievements right now. It sounds like a complete shitshow and I just don't need the aggravation. Same here. There is no reward.

Well, if you didn't get such a hard-on out of "ruining" it for people, we'd all post 2 or 3 times and leave. Dumbasses. In any case, looks like there is an Achievements forum, now. Under Hot Topics. So now I'm getting flamed because some idiots keep managing to find and bump the threads I made three days ago in CB. MAYBE THE FACT THAT THE OP OF A SAUSAGE THREAD IS A GIRL SHOULD TIP YOU OFF THAT IT IS DEAD? DRR. And uh... I don't know when or how, but I've lost 10 pounds. My pants have been practically falling off of me lately, so I actually weighed myself for a change. It's funny because even though I've obviously lost weight, I don't really feel any thinner... But hey, I've been a bit over my ideal weight for a while and just was too lazy to do anything about it, so I guess it is good. Except that I really don't have the time to go searching for new clothes if I lose much more. And even though I'm pretty sure I have some smaller jeans around here somewhere, I don't know what size 90% of them are, since I almost always have to buy for my thighs and have the waists taken in. gonk

Sevi Rais I'm the same weight and now I keep eating because Aunt Flow is here. gonk But my hips are my problem. I have a good waist, though. Probably the only thing going for me. XD Yeah, I have a narrow waist and wide hips. But my thighs are even wider than my hips. I get so confused when size charts say to measure at your widest point because... uh... wait, where am I supposed to measure again? I could be clinically anorexic and still have fat thighs. It's where all of the junk food goes.

Wow. I just...wow.
rant: I live next door to a guy who we can hear constantly screaming at his wife and kids. About two days after I moved in we had four cop cars, a firetruck, and an ambulance show up because it was so bad - I think he hurt one of their pets or something, 'cause the daughter kept screaming "you killed her, I hate you!" Tonight's the first night that it's been this bad since then, so after getting severely freaked out from hearing how terrified his daughter sounded and from the fact that it sounded like he was hitting people, I called the cops. They did stop screaming about five minutes later, and of course the cops showed up after everything had quieted down. I was standing in the doorway of my house waiting to see if they'd show up, and sure enough they did...only to go up to the door of the house and chat with the guy for a few minutes and then all start laughing very jovially and leave. I don't know if the cops just can't do anything if everyone seems okay when they get there, but ********, I've been in that poor girl's place and I'm scared he's going to hurt her or her brother or his wife really badly one of these days. And for the cops to just laugh as they're leaving? ******** style="font-size: 9px">Aggggh I hope I'm overreacting and freaking out for no reason. *spaz*

Wow, Pasta, that's horrible. sad I've been in a similar position when there was a fight breaking out between a guy and his girlfriend down the street and it was very loud and sounded brutal. Friends of their friends drove up in cars just to figure out what was going on (or just watch or something). I have no idea. I just called the cops to report a domestic disturbance. They never came out, though. :/
Though I have heard my aunt yell at my cousins in a similar fashion. I was scared out of my mind for my cousin at the time (granted I was an adult, too) but I think they solved it? Their whole family is a little messed up, though. Feh.
We solve everything when we yell, mirite? neutral
And GAH at Gaia wasting me my precious 100k. Also, W.T.F. Changing my hair, eyes and skin? I had to pay that all back. When was this crap not free? Stupid achievements. I wish I was as jaded as Aldo and Kerm. Not kidding.
You know what I feel like? My DAD. He keeps talking about the good old days where stuff cost 5 cents and a penny. Now everything is way too much. It's the same here. I can't believe how much the virtual world is mimicking the real world. sad

I've pretty much got myself convinced the gender-bender isn't worth the time/gold. *shrug* Same with sausagefest, since it requires being male...
And now I'm getting my teddy bear and going to sleep and pretending everyone in the world is good and happy.

Pazzy - Wow, that's pretty awful. I'd recommend not being so obvious (i.e. standing in the doorway, watching) if you have to call the cops again. If this guy is really violent, I wouldn't want him coming after you. sad
Sevi - I know. The genderbend potion gave me super dark skin and lilac hair both times. And huuuuuuuuuuge, animu eyes. I looked ridiculous. Luckily, I'd never used my free gender swaps, so I was able to claim two free potions. I might have had the desire to sell them for gold, instead, but they were soulbound, so using them for the achievement was about all they were good for.

How did people get free gender bender potions? I heard someone else having it, too. Not fair. crying But I can earn 100k in the MP no problem so it's not a huge issue.
I sold tickets for 5 gold apiece 20 times last night. Took forever, but I got my achievement. I think the hardest was the bidding war which took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r to do (logging into my mule and back again.) Good thing I already made a bid on Heavenly Awesome, but the seller is probably very confused. XD
Weird that overstock is more points than bidding war when the latter is harder.

It's completely fair. According to the old method of gender swapping, you got two free changes before having to pay increasing fees. I never used my free swaps, so I was able to claim free potions from that page.
And I think overstock is harder. All you have to do for bidding war is find a listing with no autobuy and have a friend repeatedly outbid you.
Also, some random guy just requested pictures of my feet. I'm rather sickened. I reported him, but I have this bad feeling nothing will be done. Because as a female on the internet, I should just expect and deal with unwanted sexual advances, right? neutral

You know, sausage fest and hive mind were the easiest for me. The first thread I posted in for both and I get the achievement. It was awesome. <3
