Like places where Cale or other non-force users would go to advance their story.
I mean, the Siege of Garos IV actually lasts for about 2-3 planet changes, as really its a siege, and nothing really gets accomplished there.
FP basically follows his quest by following the holocrons, and Neb is sent to various other places to try and find the TSQ in his own time.

Its an Outlaw stronghold somewhere in the outer rim. Its composed of the wrecked hulls and pieces of dozens of ships and space stations. Chewie and Han went there in search of a weapon that could halt the Executor from coming to Yavin in the old comics.

@FP: Garos IV is in the Mid Rim, in the Garos Sector. Famous people: tork and alex Winger. The reason why its being seiged: rare mineral mines that produce hibridium. Aka a mineral that is a natural cloaking device.
I thought it was appropriate, seeing as how it really was under impieral control for quite a while.
