Yes that is interesting, although its a bit weird... it dose make some sense though at least now you cant mow down a building with bolters lol! some players will try anything! I do love the new deep strike miss hap table, I will find many ways to be evil with that.

Ah yes. I've already been on the painful receiving end of that table. I now refer to my Librarian as the Suicide Psyker because of his "Gates of Infinity" power.

Dave the Twisted Ah yes. I've already been on the painful receiving end of that table. I now refer to my Librarian as the Suicide Psyker because of his "Gates of Infinity" power. Yeah lol, I normally don't use psykers in my marine army cause they basically always explode on me... waist of a possibly good las cannon I think. I love my anti psyker divergent rule, hurts in tournaments if I get stuck with a allie who uses them. Have they come out with a marine codex errata or update?

I haven't seen one yet. What problem is in the codex? I don't own it yet so I haven't been able to completely analyze it.

I don't think there is a problem per-say, but there are a few things in the new rules that seem like they would be in some kind of update for the various marine codices, another possibility is that the newer marine codices (dark angels and black templars) have these updates in them... I haven't gotten around to scowering my books. sweatdrop In other news I found and resurrected the 40k caption contest, it still has most of the previous images for every one to scroll through. This thread is older but awesome, it was always fun to read the captions every one came up with. P.s. if your new to the caption contest.
Pg13 answers only, nothing to crude images will be judges in 3days time by the poster of the image. The winner then gets to post his/her own image to be captioned. If said poster doesn't return in a weeks time to judge, Ill judge the image and caption to keep the contest moving.

The 5th edition feels a little weird, but that may only seem so to me since I never played 4th edition.
I will definitely try out the Gate of Infinity, because it could be a major boon in objective-centered games. 24" is a lot (or at least it used to be...)!
It's kinda sad that the numbers of wounds for characters went down a notch or two. Gone are the days when you could upgrade your champions for a few measly points, and made them 2 or 3 times as hard to kill... Ah, the number of matches I played where only characters were left standing... Kharn was a monster... is he still, by the way? I haven't had a look at the CSM codex yet.
Half my work desk (at home!) is covered in miniatures and bitz now. And I'm leaving for two months on Saturday, so these minis will stay unfinished and unpainted till late April or early May, most likely.
How many of you are obsessive converters? I'm back to my old habits, drilling and filing each and every mini I get into my hands. Although I only did some minor green stuff work on Ezekiel (love that model).

A flood of Imperial Guard previews have spawned all over the web these last few days, it's driving my friend crazy at the prospect of plastic Valkyries and plastic Cadian and Catachan command squads with tonnes and tonnes of cool extra bits.
I managed to talk him into getting me a Valkyrie as well, his Elysians don't need more than nine most likely. ninja
And Space Hulk is returning this year! whee
