Kat didn't want to go but she went with Damien without a struggle. She kept her arms wrapped around him and she struggled to stand up straight. Kat's wiped away her tears when they entered Calvin's room. Kat remained silent throughout Calvin's speaking and she tried her best not to break down. She laid her head down on Damien's shoulder, and she shut her eyes tightly for a moment. Kat took in a breath and she opened her eyes to look at Calvin. She might've had an idea about what he meant but still she wasn't for sure, so she couldn't really answer his question. For she wanted to be confident in her answer, and she did not want to sound like a complete and total fool. She took in another deep breath and exhaled softly, wiping away the tears in the lining of her eyes. Finally she piped up but instead of really speaking her answer she decided to put it into the form of a question so if she were wrong that she would not look like a fool. "You mean that we aren't human?" she asked softly, not specifying who. She didn't know if Damien wanted Calvin to know or not.

Calvin then seemed to twitch as she asked him this question. Something seemed to go off in his brain. He snapped. His fingers tightened around the book as his eyes slowly squinted, and in an instant the book was flying at Akimaru. Akimaru's instincts took over as he quickly leapt out of the way and began snarling wildly at Calvin. "Not much of a trait for a dog, is it?" Calvin's stare was peircing, and it did not avert from Akimaru. Akimaru slowly began to back away, trying to get the stare off him as he almost dissapeared into the darkness. "Should I suspect that your dog isn't much of a dog at all? Maybe your boyfriend isn't what you expect him to be? Perhaps, Kat, you aren't the only one bearing a little secret?" His gaze then looked down at his lap as his head hung low. Slowly his words slipped out of his lips as his head rised. "Or maybe you know this. Maybe, you are against me too."

Kat watched this behavior and was actually quite suprised. Kat's eyes went to Akimaru as he dissapeared and then to Damien. A questioning, wondering look in her eyes as if he had answers. Her eyes slowly wandered back to Calvin when he said that last sentence. "Against you? What do you mean? Calvin I'm your friend." she said softly. She walked over to him and kneeled down by his side, her tear stricken face confused and hurt. She looked at Damien again, and took in a breath before looking to Calvin. "What's wrong? It seems as if there is something bothering you." she said softly, her voice soothing and calm. She held out her hand to him and smiled weakly. "Take my hand Calvin. Show me what is wrong." she said softly.

He slapped her wrist to move her hand, but in his strike of anger, his wheelchair tipped over and he fell onto the floor. He glared up at her and then murmured under his breath curses. "Do what you will to me now, but know that there is no honor in this." He hissed at her as Damien began to walk slowly to Calvin, still unsure to exactly what he was doing.

Kat was quite shocked at this action, then she remembered that he struggled with emotions and she remained calm. She sighed as he fell and she kneeled down, picking him up. "Oh just hush up you big goofball." she said, setting Calvin back down into his chair gently. She folded her arms over her chest but she still stayed by his side. "I don't know what you think we're going to do to you. But whatever it is, I would get that out of your head. I wouldn't let anyone hurt you. And I would never hurt you. So just hush with all these 'Do what you wish to me' and 'you are all against me' things." she said, running a hand through her soft hair. She looked at Calvin, right into his eyes and forced a smile.

Calvin looked up at Kat, his eyes now opened wide. They were almost haunting as he then whispered, "Please don't leave, Kat." He was twitching slightly as the red necklace began flashing quickly. There were soon a few loud noises outside his room, but the door then burst open as two men in white coats sped in with a stretcher. They literally ripped Calvin out of her arms as he had lost all concoiusness and set him on the stretcher. They were out of the room before any objections could be made, and Damien began chasing after them out of fear for Calvin.

Kat smiled weakly, "I won't. I promise." she said softly. Before she could even realize what was happening Calvin had been taken away. She jumped up and immideatly dashed after Damien and soon caught up to him. "Hey!!! Bring Calvin back here!" she called out to the men and the doctor. Her heart was racing, she felt worry for Calvin, she looked at Damien. What was going on? She questioned herself in her mind. She shook all thoughts out of her mind and just focused on Calvin, chasing after him. "Calvin!!!" she called out. Despite the fact he was unconsious, Kat still called out to him. Finally Kat caught up with the men and she tackled one of them, and grabbed the other's foot. "I told you to stop! Don't you listen?" she asked, keeping them from moving anymore. "Damien, get Calvin!" she said, struggling agianst the two men's moving against her holding them back and such.

The two men lost their grip on the stretcher and Calvin went flying down the hallway as they fell to the floor. "What the hell are you doing?" One of them yelled as he looked down at her. Damien quickly got on all fours and leaped at the stretcher, barely catching it and getting it to stop. "He's going to die if we don't medicate him you crazy b***h!" The other yelled as he wriggled free of her grasp and got up. He sprinted for the stretcher and quickly began pushing it again. Damien simply followed him, trying to help in any way he could. The man still in her grasp turned to her and yelled, "Calvin has a lung disease! It's terminal! We are just trying to prolong his life!"

Kat just held the one down and growled. "Well jesus you burst in and pull him out like you're going off to kill him. One of you could've just said something to us! God all of you guys in the white are idiots." she said, releasing the other one and just sitting there. She exhaled a breath before getting up. "I can heal him." she said, following Damien and catching up to him. She looked at him, "I feel so stupid now." she said softly, looking at the man pushing the stretcher. She wrapped her arms around Damien, feeling awful, hopeless. She sighed, she could've just killed Calvin because of her own idiocy.

Damien then walked into the room with them as they began hooking Calvin up into machines. Calvin's eyes opened seconds later and he looked over to the man on the side of him and asked, "Charles, are they gone?" The man that was apparently named Charles then walked over to Calvin and said, "No Calvin, they won't leave." Calvin then began to hyperventilate a small bit, but soon relaxed and asked, "Then am I forever cursed?" Charles then put his hand on Calvin's forehead and replied, "Yes." Damien then grabbed Charles by the shoulder and ripped him back quickly. "Why the hell are you doing this? Don't you want Calvin's hopes up?" He whispered at Charles angrily. Charles then turned to him and spoke in a normal voice as he said, "I'm telling him the truth. He has no chance of living in the state that they have put him under." He then left the room and Damien looked over to Kat and asked, "They?"

Tears rushed down Kat's cheeks as she watched this. When he mensioned 'They' the first thing that came into Kat's mind were those ******** up scientists. The ones that took some of the patients and experimented on them. They had done that to her and she had hoped they hadn't done it to anyone else, but her mind still wandered to the worst. She looked at Damien and then she went over to Calvin. "Tell me...Did someone experiment on you Calvin? Who are 'They'?" she asked, looking at him. She kneeled down and laid her head on his bed, wrapping her hand in one of his. "Don't listen to these doctors. They don't know s**t. They told me I was going to die when I was seven. But I'm here. I'll never leave. I promised you that and I don't plan on breaking that promise." she said, looking at him, smiling weakly.

"They're inside of me, and they won't stop until I am dead." He said as he grabbed his inhaler off the counter and quickly shoved it into his mouth. HE pushed the button down quickly for his quick relief and then continued, "They are the one's who did this to my lungs and to me." Damien walked over to him and then grabbed his profile off the counter. He looked it over and then asked, "It says that paranoia is very problematic for you, and that you are active in religion." Calvin grabbed the profile out of his hands and put it on his chest before saying, "God did this to me for a reason, and it is truly sin to try and stop his will." Calvin then lifted himself from the bed and felt for his wheelchair. He tehn realized that it was back at his room and he asked, "Damien, could you please get my wheelchair?" Damien nodded and left the room so it was only Kat and Calvin. Calvin's heart rate began to slowly rise, as he was struggling. Sweat began to form and he hyperventilated as he began to get a sharp twitch going through his body. He then stopped completely and looked up at Kat, smiling devilishly. "Pathetic."

Kat listened silently and she did not respond, especially when he mensioned 'god'. She just sat there silently, eyes falling to the ground. She didn't know how to respond, she didn't want to respond. "There is nothing pathetic about you." she said, quite briefly and blatantly. She ran her fingers through her hair and waited for Damien to come back, her eyes glazing over slightly and turning a grey color. She stared down at the ground blankly, and took in soft, occasional breaths, other then that there were no signs of life from her physical body. She closed her eyes and leaned back against the wall, the cool wall feeling good against her head as she took in a deep, noticable breath. She couldn't argue with Calvin abouth is religion, this was something she had always felt strongly about. One's religion was determined of that person and their beliefs and should be influenced by no one, or anything other then that. And so with that in mind, she said absolutely nothing.

"Not me Kat, but you. You hang on to this "Damien" boy with your dear life. You have lived without him, and now that you've had a taste, you must have the whole thing. Kat, I'm going to kill him. I'm going to kill Damien and there isn't a god damn thing that you can do about it. As long as I am eating away at this boy's life from the inside, you can't even harm him the slightest bit on the outside." Calvin then snickered, but quickly hit his pillow unconcious. Seconds later he rose back up with a shocked look on his face almost as if he had a nightmare and looked over to Kat, emotionless again. "Kat, where am I?"

Kat did not seem bothered by what Calvin had said. She seemed to pay no attention to him what so ever. Her eyes just remained closed and she sat there, silent, unmoving, unthinking really. There was something occupying her mind at the moment. The whispers filled her mind and over took her focus, as she kept her head leaned back against the wall. She could feel them as if they were truely there, in her presence, coming over her like a thick blanket of fog. She took in a lifeless, unmoving breath as she continued to listen to them. Something was clearly not right with Kat, but shere wasn't anything she could do to stop them now.
