A wide wolfish grin, Frost took Vanya by the hand... but not before sending a wink towards Siohban and mouthing to save him a dance. Sending the wrong signal? Perhaps, but to him it was just being social. "So many lovely ladies and gents tonight, I might wear out the sole of my shoes if I try to dance with them all." He said. "Maybe I should just stick to my ah, dates? Or did you wish to have some time alone with Mathias?" Red eyes flicked to the boil.
"He seems a bit taken with you I think, and I'd hate to ah, get in the way as it were."

"Next time, try fire on him." Amrita suggested seriously...which was a big thing for her. Generally seeing fire sent her into a panic mode so intense she became less than totally useless. To suggest using it on someone else was...different.
"Nah, it's fine, I can handle him. I've already taken care of him once today." Amrita chuckled, not even trying to look through the crowd to see if Lou had enjoyed the gnome's show. Roch had started to dance by that point, and she had to laugh. "Hey! That's how I always dance! Are you making fun of me?"

"NEVER!" Roch said shamelessly grinning. "But since y'know it-- how about this one instead, then?" he asked, changing it up.

As Roch and Amrita shook their groove thangs, Christof hovered by the refreshment table, trying to look discrete as he watched.
Lan tried not to preen. She tried very hard not to just show how much she just enjoyed getting compliments. Too bad, she was still very terrible at being humble. "That is very true. Sometimes I just forget that not everyone is as blessed as I am." She was very careful not to say everypony.
Tossing her hair back, gold eyes looked to the various mechanical rides. "Truthfully, I have never quite taken part in such halloween games and... things." She noticed the past tense use of his priestess. It was not an appropriate time nor subject to inquire about. "But, to ignore them would only make us the ignorant party. I have found however, that often there are things to be won, and better yet, ways to show just how superior the skills and talents of the clans are." A smile, she wondered if maybe, just maybe, she was letting a single compliment get to her head.
"Perhaps they might benefit from seeing our hands in action?" Lan motioned to the games and rides.

"You wish to dance with me, Yin Cang?" Yin asked with a more dramatic gesture toward the dance floor, complete with a grandiose sparkle to mark his words. "An excellent choice! As you wish." He moved his arm away only to wrap his hand around Alexander's wrist, pulling him toward the dance floor.
Yin's dancing resembled a slightly less violent version of firebending than anything else, moving around Alexander and not even really paying attention to whether or not the zomboil was dancing along.
Talk about liquid courage.

Hadiyya had taken some time to relax, cool off, and mingle with a couple of the band members while the DJ took over. Though with each passing song the urge to get back on the dance floor was raising. Finally, giving in, she made her way over to the hooded figure of the familiar Grue, a delicate hand coming to rest on his arm. What little she knew of the boil made him a pretty good bet for a dance. He was fun loving, flirty, not afraid to make a bit of a fool of himself. Great qualities in a dance partner, or a friend.
"Care to join me?" She was grinning as she circled around him and took hold of his hands, hips already moving in time to the music as she attempted to tug him along with her.

--------------------- The priestess held very still as the tip of each dark finger was cleaned of whatever lingering sugar may have been clinging. If they were in private, she knew where she'd like things to head next, but in room filled with people, the mare would behave herself. With a soft hum of amusement she leaned in to lay the fullness of her lips against his cheek, a lingering kiss, before her head tipped and her forehead found his. "I think I might want to dance," she mused, watching his features carefully for any reaction.
A flick of her eyes took in Shaheen, and Nergui had to admire the chieftain. The other horeswoman was a commanding presence, even here. Vaguely she wondered how she herself was perceived, but it was an idle thought.
Her hands slide along the flat plans of his stomach as she rotated in his lap, grinning at him from inches away. Dancing had never really come up in previous conversation, so she didn't really know where he stood on it, but it didn't matter. He was here for her, he'd made that clear the night she'd requested his presence at her side, and just now.

Alex gave several slow nods of his head, his skeletal painted face brightening with a wide smile. This was probably going to be the best opportunity he would have to get Yin out on the dance floor without the other boil feeling self-conscious the entire time. The music was upbeat, something they could both groove to without Yin needing to hold on to him at all. It should have worked out perfectly!
Except when Yin drug him onto the dance floor and began...whatever it was he was doing...Alexander was again at a loss for words. Though perhaps that didn't mean much when he couldn't talk anyways.
That really couldn't actually be dancing, could it? Maybe it was a weremantis thing he had yet to learn about. Still, if that's the way Yin wanted to dance, then Alex could be a quick study. He watched the boil for a moment, turning as Yin moved around him to continue studying his every movement.
And then he began copying the style, move for move. It wasn't all that hard, really!
If Yin had been paying any attention to him at all at this point, there was a good chance that he could maybe get some ideas for how to teach Alex to fight that might finally stick. It was just plain weird how the zomboil could go from clumsy and awkward and not at all athletic in anyway to moving like he'd been doing this all of his life when there was a dancefloor to move on and music to accompany it.

Tavi wasn't sure how it had happened but one minute he was letting his date enter in front of him and next she was gone! The kitsune's big teal eyes filled with water as he looked around at all the unfamiliar faces. Tavi took a step towards the dance floor to see if Christi might be there but when he didn't see her his knees started to shake violently. Where could she be! Frantically he looked towards the tables then back to the floor only to not spot a single sign of the ghoul.
A dreadful thought hit him and the kitsune began to wail loudly, crying in shame. That tricky wolf had left him! She- she had stood him up! He knew he shouldn't have trusted a dog! "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa." The little red-head dressed as a clown stood near the dance floor bawling his eyes out, unable to stop the tears and sniffles, bringing an all new meaning to sad clown.

Christi's ;; Tavi thinks you've stood him up OTL He didn't see where you went off to ( I didn't read any kind of exit or anything so I'm assuming he came in behind her and lost her in the crowd as she moved to the games tent or whatever lol) u n ub

Zel hadn't actually made it too far from the enterence, so he had started to peer around to see if he could spot Amarus when he heard the sniffling and crying of Tavi. Blinking, he moved over to the source of the noise and frowned. Yeah - it was Tavi alright. Sighing a bit he lifted up his phone again and shot off a quick text.
Text to Amarus
Hey, Ghoulie - change of plans real quick - friend emergency. Save a dance for me, okay?
Moving over to the kitsune, he reached down and ruffled up the other boil's hair.
"Hey, Tavi, sup?" He looked down at the other boil. "You alright?"
Nahm grinned at Yaya as she took hold of his hands, tilting his head a little to the side in an almost birdlike motion. "My pleasure," he answered, allowing himself to be tugged. He had rhythm, and he could dance -
- well, it wasn't exactly the tango, but he was clearly having fun.

Nahm started working it, and Yaya cracked up. It was amazing, absolutely amazing. Not the most technically advanced dance she'd ever seen, but he was on beat, and definitely looked like he was having fun.
So she grinned at him, popped her hips out, and did her own little thing.

Mmur had never been opposed to doing what he was told. Some might have said he had been bred for subservience, but if he had, the attempt had gotten a little bungled somewhere. He entered the tent at Na'ima's side, one moment perfectly docile and silent, the next tugging slightly on her skeletal arm as he pointed at a costumed student or impossible confection. The bevy of bearded ghouls near the door received wide grins. Was that some sort of new style now? The things he had missed while fighting insanity titans.
"I have only attended one prom," he replied. "Last year I wore what I usually do, drank some punch, and talked to a lovely ghoul about her moths." And that had been all. Sad, really. "This year I will do more. But we might start with the punch anyway?" Mmur leaned in closer, looking off at a disturbingly flexible gnome as he addressed the sage. "You look lovely, my dear." He stood up straight again, adding, "You too, Jing!" in a singsong voice.
The soldier had opted for... pants. He had worn them once before when that purple-haired reaper boil had taken them all on a trip to Thanksgiving, but those had been tighter and thicker and there had been shoes and a hat and... it had been a very different situation. These pants were gauzy and light, and the only other pieces of material he had on that could be termed clothing were several lengthy strips of shimmering cloth he had wrapped around his torso. He hoped there would be a breeze in here at some point so he could subtly fling them around, though he doubted that would be the case.

Belladonna was such a charming witch, Mot wondered why he'd not hung out more with her. Alas, perhaps it could be remedied during Prom. Though her suggestion to dance with Kettil was met with a laugh, "Don't say such things! He really would tango with me if you so much as dared him to."
Hel's abundant energy was bright as ever; maybe even more than normal. "Control is a foreign concept to you, I know." He smirked.
Mot gave a light chuckle as Hel publicly shamed her sister, giving the blonde Valkyrie an apologetic smile and hand gesture. "Let's have a dance later, shall we?" Maybe the tale of his missing chaps could be solved in light conversation with her. With that, he headed after Hel and Helmut, and possibly Belladonna, toward the food table.
Not that he even wanted food. Where was the coffee table?
Siobhan blushed a bright blue, hiding her face in her hands as Frost seemed to suggest they dance later.
A boil asked her for a dance!
HER!!!!
"Eyyaaaaaaaaaaa whatdoido...." She fretted, wiggling her hips side to side in excitement.
"Do not lose face! We have prepared for this moment! Remember our training!" And by training, Lottie meant the mountains of magazines the trio had studied the night before Prom.
Popo simply snorted, and played with her hair.

In his gross sobbing and feeling sorry for himself he hadn't noticed the other boil come up to him, so the ruffling caught him off guard and caused the kitsune to leap nearly out of his shoes. Tavi yelped then glared at Zel though tear filled eyes, his tails were now raised, all the hair on which were now standing on end. That had really scared him, mostly because he didn't really expect to be talked to considering he only knew a few creatures. "Z-zel.." He hiccupped and tried to pull his collar up to hide in, only given what type of collar it was that didn't really work out for him.
Red faced and still crying a little he shook his head no and gave a loud sniffle. After a moment to gather himself back he peeked up to Zel and spoke through quivering lips, "a wolf tr-tricked me, I hate prom!" Tavi pushed his palms roughly into his eyes, rubbing them in a circular motion to try to fight the tears. Stupid Prom! He hated it already, sniffling again he tried to ignore the nagging feeling in his stomach as the wonderful foods from the buffet tables seeped back into his nostrils. A small whimper was given before, much like the time they had met, Tavi invaded Zel's personal space and attempted to latch onto his hand. "Nnnn.."
Spinar was just getting away from the music and dancers when his phone vibrated again. After stepping off to the side he flipped his phone open and read over the text message, smirking wide when he seen it was from Rosy. Looking back to the dancing people he felt a little guilty for leaving people hanging but the feeling faded fast.
Tilting his head at the picture the boil drew a blank, "not a very good hint, but I do enjoy a good game.." Grinning now that the real fun started he shot Rosy a single message then headed out, determined to win the game already. [Exit]
