"Where is my tea and my breakfast? Plus Claude I need to get dressed. Sebastian usually does everything, but he's not here today. I'll do my lessons after lunch so that I can fully concentrate on conducting my business.

"Very well young master," Claude didn't smile as he brought in the tea tray. "Here is your morning tea. Your breakfast is ready." While Ciel was having his morning tea Claude went to the closet and saw that Sebastian had already set out the clothing he wanted Ciel to wear that day. It was a small reminder of him.
Getting Ciel out of his night shirt and getting him dressed for the day, Claude couldn't help but think that this was what Sebastain did everyday, every morning. The thought caused a small smile to appear on his lips.

Ciel noticed the smile on his face as he helped him get dressed. "What is that smile about Claude? Had a good thought?" He was just being naturally curious for a young boy, because he really wanted to know. He still had a lot on his mind as well. For example how him and Elizabeth just literally broke up. He hoped that she was going to be okay with that..but deep down he knew they wouldn't end up getting married together anyways. He always knew that deep down. Their fate was determined the moment he got tortured by those awful people and made a contract with a demon to pay them back.

Claude had to think about his answer for a bit before responding with a soft "Yes, It is." In the back of his mind he wondered how long his good mood would last, oh the thing with Sebastian being turned over to Grell for the day was merely unpleasant now. But Ciel had to power to make his day a tough one, thought he now knew all that is to know about running the manor in Sebastian's place.
"Do you want company for breakfast?" He asked as he did the last button on Ciel's tweed vest. When the boy blinked up at him he continued with. "Sebastian had noticed how well you and Lady Isabella are getting along....something about a chess game?"

"Okay." Ciel nodded his head as an answer. "Yes we played a rather interesting form of chess the other day. It was truth or dare. That is why you and Sebastian were dancing an Irish jig. Yes I would like her company for breakfast. Bring her and her breakfast in here as well."

Ahh so that was it...
Claude bowed and left to do as ordered.
Bella had worn the white shirt from the boy's pirate outfit and the red velvet skirt from the party dress, She still felt that is was somewhat improper to appear in the same outfit every day. Her black hair ribbon was now a neat bow at the shirt's collar and the blacks gloves on her hands was a striking contrast.
Hearing a soft knock on the door, She turned around. "Enter."
The Butler with glasses came him, he bowed politely. "Lord Phantomhive requests that you join him for breakfast in his room."
"I will be right there."

Bella sat down at the table that was already laid out with a breakfast of Belgium waffles still warm from the iron topped with summer sweet berries and tall glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice.
"Good morning Ciel." She smiled.

"Good morning Lady Isabella. Did you sleep well?" He smiled a tad bit at her, really curious as to if she slept well. he cared about all of the guests that stayed in his manor. "I also told Claude about our little chess game. Thought he should know."

"Yes, I slept alright." She hesitated a little, having woken up from nightmares during the night. She didn't know what was worse, waking up knowing where she was or knowing how far away her protector was. She bolted out of the bed and her hand was on the doorknob before remembering where she was. Not wanting to bring anything unhappy up She instead turned the conversation to yesterday's game.
She smirked "Giving him fair warning for the next time he has to do another dance?"
Claude who was nearby, glanced up from finishing placing all the dishes on the table, his eyebrow raised. He stepped back. "I will be nearby if you need me..." He trailed off, rare humor glimmering in his golden eyes as he left the young people to their breakfast.

Ciel looked through her eyes and instantly felt like she was keeping something away from him. "Something tells me that you're not telling me the honest truth Lady Isabella. First you hesitated, and second I can read you by looking into your eyes. If anything is ever bothering you you can come talk to me when I'm not busy. Is that misunderstood?" Why do I care so much? I only cared about Sebastian...so why...why? He was confused with his own feelings.

At first Bella looked a little taken back, she lowered her eyes. " I get nightmares sometimes, some nights they are terrifying." The girl looked up at him. "It's very hard for me to talk about...what happened." Pain flitted thought her gray-blue eyes for a second before lowering to her right hand, the fingers of her left gently rubbing through the black fabric of the glove.
For a brief moment her mind took her back to the depths of the castle, the darkness, the screams, the blood, oh god the blood. Isabella suddenly raised her hands and covered her ears closing her eyes tightly as fought the urge to cry out.
I'm awake, I'm here, it can't hurt you anymore,

Ciel could tell that she was in distress and could tell why. Sometimes he got nightmare too about the night his parents were killed, and about all those bad things that were done to him too. What made it worse was that it was on his birthday.
"You're not the only one that...lives in the darkness and has nightmares at night. A long time ago on my birthday my parents were murdered, and burnt in this very manor. I was taken away to be branded, raped, and turned into a form of amusement for them by torturing me with pain. You asked me what Sebastian is to me and he's this. He's my way to revenge on those bastards that did this to me." Ciel then took off his eye patch and showed her the contract symbol.
"He's my contracted demon."

When he spoke Isabella opened her eyes and lowered her hands. "Oh my god....Ciel..." Her voice wavered, it was a tragic story he just told her. Revealing so much about him in so few words.
"That's terrible!" She clenched her hands in anger, hurt and disbelief.
For a moment she seemed to gather up her courage to ask him: "....and when you finally get your revenge?"

Ciel placed his eye patch back on. "Then my soul won't go to Heaven or to Hell. Instead it will be devoured by the demon who I made my contract with. That's why I'm so uptight and strict looking all the time. I haven't really had anything to smile about."

"I-I see." Isabella Torquemada looked at him with a renewed determination. "Then your time on earth may be short, or indeterminate. I suppose I was one of the lucky ones...." The girl took off the black glove on her right hand and showed it palm up to Ciel. "...I was marked to be a sacrifice, both me and my older brother. To be offered up to a demon for someone's need for revenge."
tattooed on her palm was a mark, it looked like an eye but had a white scar running thought it, braking the seal.
"That was when Sammael saved me, but it was too late for my brother....his soul got consumed by the demon."

"I see. Well that would explain why Sammael looked at both my butlers in such distaste. Sebastian is actually my one and only butler. Claude, the one with the glasses, is actually he demon butler of Alois Trancy. I'm just borrowing him for a tiny bit. You should make sure that Sammael has nothing to worry about. Sebastian is only after my soul, and my soul is the only one he's interested in. As for Claude he's loyal to only Alois."
