okay, so I'm sorry to say this, but I think I'm going to quit this guild.
my college life is starting to ramp up in studies and I haven't been all that active here anyway. So, with respect, I'm going to withdraw. I apologize to those who I wasted your time with my long pauses and my short posts. Perhaps in the future, if my muse leans back to sci-fi, I will return. Thank you.

Its alright, but it isn't THAT demanding...its your internet that's slowing it down, most likely.

Nah, it isn't the internet. This computer I'm on currently is just a big hunk of junk. Hell, damn thing changed my proxy server somehow and now I can't use Firefox. And I don't even know what the hell a proxy server is!
Speaking of, seeing as how Presca will be MIA, how does this affect my mission to Earth?

well, unless we get someone else in here to do stuff with us, it most likely won't happen. you should think about making a more normal character to be able to use in the meantime.

I'm thinking we should all take a break from the guild, and make a roleplay using the basic layout, plot, etc, in the regular forums, to boost awareness. We could offer more here in the guild if they joined it, and hopefully net some recruits.

So anyways, I dunno what you guys were doing, but we totally need to get this all up and starting again.
Or something of the sort.
I'm a sucker for this sci-fi stuff, and this is pretty much the best sci-fi guild rp I have found on here.
I'm serious.
I even have alien species' and everything.
Really, we gotta do something. It's too awesome to just let die.
I don't know you guys and this is possibly my first post ever here but man, we gotta do something with this place.
It looks like it was pretty damn epic once upon a time.
Also, I have not yet posted in the introduction because with it so bare, it feels awkward. Just so ya'll know.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome at one point. Then one person stopped posting at one point, and the rest just fell like dominos. A sad day for us all when everything just outright stopped.

The_Dizzy_F-fect Oh my gosh! ACTIVITY! Yeah, it was pretty awesome at one point. Then one person stopped posting at one point, and the rest just fell like dominos. A sad day for us all when everything just outright stopped. Seriously, we were gonna do something huge, but everything was crumbling like a overbaked cookie. crying From the looks of it, it seems to be the structure in my opinion. There's a separate thread for everything. I'm in an rp that's kind of similar, but we've only recently split into two separate threads, and only because what we planned on just wasn't possible with one thread. There's 1448 pages, and 21438 posts. With the new thread, that's another 27 pages and 407 posts added on. I think it may have been the freedom with the creatures, too. There doesn't seem to be any sort of limitation -which makes it difficult. The aliens don't seem to have any sort of background or structure, either. People seem to just be picking stuff and when using aliens, you have to be pretty specific on the species. Where did they come from? What is their daily life like? What's the general appearance? How is their planet run? Why are they out there on the ships? You get the picture. There could have been new planets and species to discover if you started with just one or two species that knew of each other, but it seems that everything was all out in the open at a time where the rp was still rather vulnerable. I think it may have been too much all at once. But that's just me, I've been rp'ing for practically forever and am somewhat of an "rp veteran", so I notice things others sometimes don't. This can be amazing again, all it takes is some planning.

This can be amazing again, all it takes is some planning. You raise some pretty good points. It is always nice to have a veteran around, but looking back, I wish you had come around sooner. Planning is right, but it should be fairly easy. I mean, everything seems to have gone belly-up, so it won't be like we're breaking a story half-way through. However, in terms of renaming sub-forums and all that kind of stuff, it might be tricky since the only who can do that is Warlord, but he's been MIA for awhile now. However, I'm more than willing to get things going again. So a toast to get this place rockin' and rollin' again.

Greetings, my guild brethren!
I sincerely apologize for not getting back to you all sooner. a new shift at work, plus forgetting both my gaia username, password, and the email that they were attached to...yeah, spells out why i wasnt on for so long.
i have read the most recent comments, and I believe we can get this going again. Obviously, this guild has a lot of what we want in it, but with the massive amount of subforums, perhaps it would be best to simply open an enitrely new guild, and just move the essentials over.
Again, glad to be back!.we can do this!
