Missing ScoreCole cocked his head, slightly alarmed, although he did his best not to indicate as much.
"" Cole queried, leaning forward in his chair. ""
Cole leaned back again, glancing down and away from Knight Rahl.
"" Cole said, gesturing with an arm the weight of her option. "fiance could confirm that...?>"
Cole glanced back up at Knight Rahl. It was entirely possible that Knight Aedos was wrong and that they were not holding Armina Rahl here. It was possible that the Jedi sitting in front of him was an impostor, and thus, not actually a Jedi, at all. There was no way for any typical member of the CDFR, with little to no knowledge of the Force, to be sure. Cole was only betting on Knight Aedos also, actually, being a Jedi. He perceived the amount of two impostor Jedi to be encountered in one day to be astronomical, and witnesses and camera recordings indicated that the Jedi sitting in front of him would be the one, assuming she was an impostor.
Alternatively? Knight Rahl could offer up something that they could verify. Tangible evidence. A story that they could confirm through any number of witness reports. Access to her ship, so that they could at least log her flight path and check video recordings if her ship had that capability. Knight Rahl had yet to offer up any of these alternatives, though. Which meant that she didn't have these alternatives, or that she felt so indignified by these proceedings that her logical thought processes hadn't yet come to terms with her situation. The way this conversation was going, it looked like only Knight Aedos could tell.

[ Coruscant ]
"One," Mina says, growing impatient. She holds up a finger. "I've already informed you I've been on Naboo, and that aside from Knight Aedos, Grandmaster Ronyo can confirm that. I assume your neglect in contacting the Grandmaster as a simple miscommunication rather than blatant disregard of my rights in an attempt to detain me here for longer than necessary."
Mina arches an eyebrow expectantly before raising a second finger and continuing. "Two. The ship I arrived on is a borrowed Republic ship I used first for my diplomatic mission to Naboo, where I was held up by the Grandmaster and some business we had to finish there, and secondly to return to Coruscant. If you check my ship's logs and the corresponding Republic logs, you will find that I left Coruscant before your supposed prison-break and returned after it, and did nothing in between."
"Three. The fact that I have sat here peacefully and given up my saber should be proof enough of my identity. Any Sith would have probably used the Force on you to convince you of their identity. Or they would have simply altered your memory and would be on Coruscant doing whatever they had intended by now."
"Four. My position on Coruscant has always been dual in nature; I am a diplomat sent by the Jedi Order, yes, but I am first and foremost a Jedi Knight, the responsibilities of which includes the monitoring and location of hostile Sith."
"Five. I have more pressing issues to attend to, none of which include answering your questions. If you are quite done with this and are ready to actually attempt some verification of my identity instead of asking me questions you are predisposed to disbelieve the answers of, I would very much appreciate being left to myself and whomever you see necessary to contain me until Knight Aedos arrives."
Meditation -- Mina could certainly use that now, and with confrontation with Isani looming in hers and Kennero's future it was all the more important.

"The big plan? Not so much." Daesha responded, having caught Kal's silent plea for help in the corner of her eye. "Just one of it's many phases."
The Twi'lek stepped forward, hand resting close to her blaster. She didn't want to make it appear as if she was trying to threaten the Toydarian, just that she had no intentions of fooling around about the subject. "As is striking a deal with you." She added, saying it matter of factly. A sly smile crept on her face.
Back when she still participated in swoop racing, she had dealt with Toydarian's before. The most important thing she remembered about them; They liked making profit. Hutt's often preferred not to share theirs.
"Let's say for example..." She started, hoping to lure in the Broker's interest by emphasizing the deal to be negotiable, on his terms. "You sell us Zietta's location for a bargain price." Not the words their kind usually liked to hear, so she was quick to continue her words. "We'll make sure no-one tells of your involvement," She glanced at the Enforcers as she spoke. "and continue with our plan. Should we not succeed, at least you were able to earn some money off of us. If we do... well, I'm sure a Hutt has a lot of extra income they don't share with the team, so to speak. More than we'd need to spend for our... big plan." She hinted at him.
Whether they'd held up to their part of such a deal, she'd leave up to Kal, she only needed him to believe they would. For in the end, he might just be too much a liability to be kept alive.

It was just for a second in which the blonde had wondered about the name the Anzat seemed to whisper so randomly, before quickly squeezing her eyes shut on the Sith's command, forgetting all about it.
So easilly did she fall into the trance of meditation, held by death's hands of which she was unaware. She listened intently to the other's voice, at first simply by hearing, until the voice carried over in her mind and soon after, with more senses than she could remember having.
The feel of it was intoxicating, addictive, that small amount of energy she was given by Mabysyn. She took a sharp breath, feeling for the first time since waking on the Corruo that she was alive, like she was in control, unaware of the power that slumbered deep within being taken by the hungry Anzat in a much larger quantity.
Part of it felt wrong, in the sense that she felt like she could lose herself to the feeling of wanting more, the feelings of wanting to disregard the limits of what she could take without killing the person. She knew the Anzat wouldn't allow for that to happen to herself, not that Irella wanted to do so even if she had the strength for it, but had it been anyone else would she have left it with just taking as little?
She didn't think of herself as a bad person. Even back on the Corruo she hadn't really wanted to hurt anybody and killing anyone hadn't even crossed her mind at all. But when being fed this small amount of energy and having it already light up her senses like fireworks, compared to how dull and numb she had felt at first, she wasn't sure what to think of herself.
A shiver ran down her spine in excitement, this wasn't the time to think about her moral standing and that of which she was doing, for now she simply wanted to experience more of it while it lasted.

Cole sat back in his chair, stunned. For a renowned diplomat (and for a Jed), "Knight Rahl" was doing a terrible job at being one right now. It was her funeral, however. Cole stood up from his chair.
"tried to contact Grandmaster Storm, actually,>" Cole retorted snidely. "can and will be held against you.>"
Cole moved toward the exit, but didn't quite yet turn away from the Jedi Knight.

The Toydarian thought about Daesha's over for a moment, cupping his fat chin in his hand and glancing away from her for a moment. Then:
"That's kind of a weak plan, you know?" the Toydarian said.
"You have a better idea?" Kal asked.
"What do you want with Zietta?" the Toydarian asked.
"If you're not going to help us, then that's none of your concern," Kal snapped.
"How old are you?" the Toydarian asked, exhaling spice smoke out of his trunk.
"How is that relevant, at all?" Kal asked, defiantly.
"Well, if it's Zietta you want, you went about it the wrong way," the Toydarian continued, as though Kal had answered his question directly. "Just because we work in her territory doesn't mean we get to hang out with him. This isn't her clubhouse."
The Toydarian, the information broker, Pendal, took a long drag off of his spice stick and then exhaled it out of his trunk again.
"If you want to get at Zietta, then I'll tell you: You find something she wants, something she loves, and just try to keep it from her," Pendal explained. "That, she hates more than anything."
Now Pendal had Kal's attention.
"It's not a big secret that the Zietta Anjiliac will be hosting a party in her palace three days from now," Pendal continued. "It's very exciting. Very legitimate... What you don't know is that this little party is a very important step for her. It's very important to her future. So, I wonder what an event like this could offer someone of your unique abilities."
Pendal took another drag off of his spice stick and sent the exhalation billowing around the room.
"Why are you telling us this?" Kal asked.
"Well, just because we have to work for her, doesn't mean we have to have her best interests at heart," Pendal answered, deviously smiling.

Rikka smiles. "Actually," she corrects lazily, "It just sucks to suck."
She's about to say more when she receives a comm from one of her brainwashed black ops members still on Coruscant. Joelk found. Nieva and Visum en route. Isani arrived. Knight Rahl detained. Knight Aedos on Coruscant. Contact still unkown.
Drumming her fingers on the control console, Rikka's smile grows even more pleased.
"So tell me, what is it you want to do with your new, free life?" she asks Rokumasu, turning from the console to face him again with renewed cheer.

Kal looked at Daesha and opened his mouth to speak when a loud bang caught his attention.
"Everyone freeze!"
"This is a stick-up! Everyone put your... By the Core!"
The voices sounded raspy. And considering their tones, they were curiously small. Kal barely heard them.
"It's... It's him!"
It was two Ubese, each lightly armed with a blaster pistol in each hand. This had to be a joke.
"It's that Jedi," one of the Ubese said, reaching for a COM unit.
"Uh... I don't think so," Kal said.
Focusing all his efforts on the two Ubese that had decided to storm their little party here, he released the Enforcers, and gripped the Ubese that had grabbed a COM off of her hip. Mercilessly, he crushed her hand and arm with the Force, breaking the bone in several places. The Ubese moaned, and her knees buckled. She dropped the pistol on the ground and moved to cradle her hand. While the other Ubese was distracted, looking over at his partner and not yet realizing what Kal had done, Kal jerked the blaster pistol out of his hand, and flung it away from him, out of his reach.
Kal felt like such an idiot. Coming here had been his stupidest idea ever, amid an ever growing list of stupid things. Kal then gripped the second Ubese by the abdomen and pulled his internal organs, with tremendous force, inward, tearing them away from their capillaries, arteries and central veins. The Ubese was practically dead, and his partner was in shock and disabled. Kal looked back at the Enforcers.
"Oh man, look at that."
The Enforcers, and Pendal, were both gone.
"The party ended," Kal commented, sarcastically dejected.

Hyperspace/ Defender - Meditation Chamber
Before the two could even get started Ronyo felt before he saw Omega standing at the door. The wolf seemed to be waiting on something and with a quick round of communication through the aid of the force Ronyo understood. With a quick smile and chuckle Ronyo made his way past Sam with an upraised finger.
"Sorry my friend, apparently someone from the Republic military is trying to get a hold of me. You have my deepest sympathies while you were Grandmaster."
Ronyo made his way to the holoterminal were the Jedi looked through the latest messages to find one from a Lieutenant Cole, someone he had not heard from in a long time. As he played back the message he could see it had no holoimage usually attached to such a transmission and only the audio log. With a curious raised eyebrow Ronyo played the message from the Lieutenant.
"", the message then continued after a brief pause, ""
An incident...and a force-user apprehended. Not a Jedi or a Sith, the message had said force-user. It was not a term usually used when discussing such matters as a title was almost always present. As far as Ronyo was concerned he had no knowledge of a Jedi at the time of the message being on Coruscant, but then he did have a lot of messages. He knew Mina and Kennero were on their way to the city-planet already. They had a mission of their own but could at least help relay more detailed information should they come across it. It would likely due to respond in turn to the lieutenant as well with the information.
"Lieutenant Cole, this is Ronyo Storm Grand Master of the Jedi Order, I got your message and I admit it is troubling. I may be some time before I arrive on Coruscant but know that two of my Order are liekly almost there. A one Jedi Knight Armina Pahl, who goes by Mina, and Jedi Knight Kennero Aedos. They are on their own mission and have so informed me of its nature and must not be delayed but they can be informed of the information as they might help in their passing and also keep an eye out for any more problems. Both have just come from Naboo so I would say they might even be there as this message reaches you. They are trust worthy Knights that I can vouch for personally. I will send you there information so you will know them when you see them. Good hunting Lieutenant and may the force be with you."
With that Ronyo gave a sigh of relief that it was not a more terrible matter and returned to the meditation chamber. He took his spot up once again with practice sabers ready and gave a smile and a nod to Sam.
"Now, where were we?"

When Cole received no positive or negative response from Knight Rahl, he nodded slightly and left the room, shutting the door behind her and leaving her there, alone. A heavy escort would soon be arriving to take her away... Cole should have been able to see them coming down the hallway as of right now, in fact. Where were they?
"Sir."
Cole turned around and spied an officer standing in front of the viewing room door, waiting to be acknowledged.
"" Cole asked.
"There's a message for you, sir... You should come listen to it for yourself," the soldier suggested.
Cole's antenna twitched upward. That would be the day, when a Lieutenant spoke to him that candidly... Unless he had sufficient cause to be that candid.
"" Cole ordered.
The officer snapped to and saluted briskly.
"Sir, yes sir!"
The officer spun on his heel and pulled open the viewing room door quickly, with force. Cole followed him in. The officer keyed up a pre-recorded transmission and let it play.
"Lieutenant Cole, this is Ronyo Storm, Grand Master of the Jedi Order."
Cole bristled at the title of 'Lieutenant.' Cole was an esteemed Commander, specifically of the First Fleet of the Combined Defense Forces of the Republic. He hadn't earned that authority with ease.
"I got your message and I admit it is troubling," Storm continued. "I may be some time before I arrive on Coruscant but know that two of my Order are likely almost there. A one Jedi Knight Armina Rahl, who goes by Mina, and Jedi Knight Kennero Aedos. They are on their own mission and have so informed me of its nature and must not be delayed, but they can be informed of the information as they might help in their passing and also keep an eye out for any more problems."
Cole felt like a bantha had just been laid upon his shoulders. Grand Master Storm's referral matched up perfectly with Knight Rahl's story. There was no way that could be coincidence. Cole was an idiot. He should have believed the Jedi in the first place. But how could he have possibly known? If people are running around impersonating Jedi, then how is the Republic supposed to differentiate between impostors and the real thing?
"Both have just come from Naboo, so I would say they might even be there as this message reaches you. They are trustworthy knights that I can vouch for personally. I will send you their information so you will know them when you see them. Good hunting Lieutenant, and may the Force be with you."
Cole didn't even flinch at the mistitle, this time. He had more pressing matters to be concerned about. The first of which was checking on that data packet Storm had allegedly sent and making sure that the ship registry he probably had on file for Rahl matched up with what was docked to the Missing Score. And then there was the matter of that knight, Kennero Aedos. He should have arrived onboard by then. Cole turned toward the officer that had led him in.
"" Cole ordered. "And get my security captain, with the lightsaber, back into that room. I want this handled as delicately as possible."
"Yes, sir!"
Cole turned and walked out of the room.

[ Coruscant ]
Deep in meditation, Mina feels a shift in the Force -- and though the captain with her saber leaves the room, she lets it slide knowing she'll have a back in a few moments' time. The Force reassures her; the Knight lets the flow of it carry away her anxiety over the situation on Naboo and her worry for Kennero, leaving her calmer than when she had first landed onboard the Missing Score.
She only comes out of her meditation when the hermetic hiss of the doors opening signals the return of the security officer. Standing, Mina retrieves her saber with a simple Force Pull and attaches it back to her own belt, striding out of the room with a polite nod for the officer.
Every moment counts, now, the Knight thinks because now she knows there are two Sith out there with something seemingly personal against her. Darth Isani, for obvious reasons, and an unidentified Sith who had, Mina assumes, used some kind of Force Illusion to disguise themselves as Mina.
Drumming her fingers against the side of her thigh in thought, Mina heads down the hall in search of Commander Barranks. If she can get him to deal with the other Sith, it'll be that much less she'll have to worry about when she and Kennero head off to hunt down her fiance's fallen master.

The corner of Morbella's eye twitched slightly as she peered at the Darth suspiciously in silence. She'd hardly gotten her words out before he jumped to telling her what she should be doing. The stepping on her toes was noted, but not nearly so troubling as his disregard for her words; I tell you the plan, then you advice, Sephis.
If he couldn't get that much right in the privacy of these rooms then what was he going to be like on the Bridge during command?
Grinding her teeth was a sufficient way to relieve the tension that was building in her at his presence but didn't help when she rose to speak. Directing his attention to the center table, she replied. "Anaxes is our target, however you insisted on presentation."
A discretely placed panel slid aside to reveal controls on the side of the center table, of which she pressed the center button to activate a holoprojection of their former location. The stars of their previous location, as well as the hulking behemoth, the Corruo, lined up before both Gurlanins. It looked nearly naked without its support fleet, but that was how the Admiral wanted it to appear. Waving her hand through the three-dimensional display it shifted to display the next stop on their route: the Javin system.
"Forces that have been spread out for the Empire's uneasy treaty are being called in to the Corellian Spire, waiting for our arrival at specific points on the Spine. Most of these planets are neutral, or are Imperial controlled like Javin and Bestine IV already... others, however.. " Another wave and the systems displayed flashed by; Gerrenthum to Javin, then resting on Kinyen. "This planet, however, is neither ours or neutral. The Gran have allied with the Republic more than once in Galactic History, and though their planet offers little that would benefit the empire the race's indifference to the Empress, and their peaceful ways, would serve an example."
Morbella paused, a wave of self-revulsion waving over her. The orb of Kinyen orbited before her face casting bright, unnatural waves across her frozen features as she steeled herself to continue. "We have the forces to impress Venia, even to attempt to subdue her on Anaxes, but that's not the mission. While we gather forces enough to pass through these systems unquestioned, we're to make strategic stops and take these planets in the name of the Empress. We'll have ships, planets, resources, and we'll have the fear of those we subjugate. We'll have power, and I'm told that is the only thing that Sith respect."
There. The plan she hated, but the plan that she had to love - had to appear to love - in the name of the Empire. "Those are my orders and my mission."

Missing Score.
With a cold aloofness, Kennero piloted and docked with the Missing Score as directed. The moment his feet stepped onto the hard, metal hangar surface any doubt that his Armina was aboard washed away and was replaced with an equally confident determination to liberate her from the premises. Whatever reasons the Republic had for holding her were a nuance, a distraction, and an insult.
The 'welcome mat' consisted of a small number of men, a testament either to the trust that Commander Barranks had for Kennero as a Jedi, or the faith that the man was putting into a prayer. "And your orders are...?" He asked, appearing glib despite the tension in his shoulders and jaw at the tedious proceedings. Everything concerning business with the Republic was tedious to his mind -- which was why Mina was the Knight who had been granted Diplomat status.
When the man at the head of the group informed him that he was to be escorted to the detention facility he relaxed slightly, then tensed again when the officer continued with an 'to await the Commander's orders.' "I don't wait for your Commander's orders, but I will wait for him." Kennero said with as much tact as he could muster, which was not much.
Waiting only for R4 to detach himself from the droid compartment of the fighter, Kennero followed the detachment of security down the winding halls. If he was to wait for the Commander, then something must have happened to complicate matters. Had Mina been formally charged for something, or had something happened? To assure himself and assess the situation, he reached out with his senses, looking for Mina. If he could just feel her reaching for him, and that she was still safe, then this would be easier for him. He was a weapon, a loaded gun, not a diplomat. His place was to board and assault space stations, not be escorted down their halls and await the Republic's man for action.
Finally, as the group enters the detention area, he felt, touched, and saw her. "Mina," And that word is like quicksand, melting away the building violent tension in his coiled body. Her face is the balm, and her eyes a tonic. 'What's happened?' is far too general a question for the both of them considering all that has happened in the past two days, so he asks instead; "What can I do?"

Hyperspace. --------------------------------
------ Though the former Jedi caught the saber deftly enough, doubt riddled her eyes deeper than any wound. She was caught in indecision, but before she could speak of it a message called Ronyo away from her. He left quickly enough and she felt almost immediately the shift in herself at his absence. But she was not alone.
Her eyes drifted to the great wolf that had accompanied Ronyo since nearly the moment they'd both come to Naboo and she smiled. Her padawan had always had an affinity for animals, just as she had in her own youth, and it reminded her of how similar they both had once been, or could be yet. Replacing the practice saber carefully, she went to Omega and knelt beside him, allowing him to catch her scent before moving to scratch behind his ears and stroke his fine coat.
Some things, like the friendship of animals, never truly left and she found comfort in that now. "I had a friend like you once," she said, addressing the wolf as she'd seen Ronyo address him, "Though she was much larger and not so soft as you. Her name was Nala, bravest and smartest of our Rancor herd..." Smiling sadly, Sam moved her fingers gently under Alpha's chin and continued. "She's dead now."
She stayed like that awhile, taking comfort in Alpha's presence, until she spoke again to fill the silence between them. "I think you've lost family too, haven't you?" Her question was soft, but knowing, and she did not need to see the spark of intelligence in the wolf's eyes to know the answer. You've lost family, but you still fight because you have someone to believe in.
As if summoned by her thought, the doors slid open quietly once more and Ronyo returned. She stood with a final pat to Alpha's shoulder, but shook her head at her friend. "These hands have sowed seeds for five years, Ronyo, not wielded a weapon. I know you offer me comfort, but I need more than that right now. Before I can rest my soul I need to rest my mind; I need to have answers."

"Enough."
She cannot even fathom how long the two of them have sat together, feeding off one another, but she can observe the movement of the crew. Relaxed, confident men and women have begun scurrying, hurrying from point A to point B, without so much as a barked order from their commanding officer -- Isani's mercenary. Their scampering prepares her from a drop from hyperspace, and she barely has time to tell the other woman to prepare for the same before the ship shudders almost violently from the faster than light travel.
"Oh Maedris..." She calls gently, then raises her voice when she doesn't catch immediate sight of the Bimm. Well aware that this Merc is not her own, but still annoyed enough to maintain the self-delusion of control, she barks, "Maedris!" Loud enough to be heard by the immediate crewman, and lances out a stabbing surge of power to locate the 'captain.'
In explanation, she smiles to Irella. "Anaxes."
