ApeKz Fe3r Yeah, obviously Metamorphmagi don't have a place here. -.- It takes time to learn where everything goes in an animalistic body, but also with the natural prowess of a metamorphmagi they should be able to make such changes. In the book whenever they introduced polyjuice potion they were very clear on the fact that you can't use it to turn into animals. However, they never made such a clarity with a metamorphmagi. :O So obviously J.K. Rowling meant for metamorphmagi to be able to transform as such, and left the rest to our imagination which has been apparently stunted in some people. but yes... Metamorphmagi shouldn't even be allowed if they can't be used to the degree in which they were fully attended for. Once again there is no citation for this but this from Wikipedia: "But there is no canonical indication in her books or interviews that Metamorphmagi can completely change their bodily appearance into non-human forms."

Tairu Khime Aruil I have zero clue about what the discussion is. I just wanted to point out that it's funny how until males started showing up, this chatterbox was all giggles and compliments. Yes, but there is also no canonical indication that they can't. (On my phone, no spelcheck.) When Hermione used the poly juice potion with a cat hair she only gained cat like features. Meta's have only been shown to be able to do partial feature changes in terms of animals. Which would lean one to think that the polyjuice potion was invented in an attempt to copy meta's. This also puts the Ani into a position where that ability was created to do what the meta could not, or simply because people wanted to take on the apearance of an animal. Since this guild is also trying to potray the HP world as accurately as possible if it wasn't explicitly stated that it could, I would avoid it. You also have the numbers to think about like proto said earlier.

yeah, I understand where you're coming from Tairu.
In terms of this Guilds stat system and such for balance you'd need the meta's to only have cosmetic changes. However, in actuality they should be able to change into complete animals.

Lol I was joking with that statement. razz I'm honestly just studying the HPU thoroughly in an attempt to find a species that would be more convenient for my character. For the sake of moving on; I'll ignore the pety attempts at a forced come-back. You know who I'm referring to, and what posts, so don't play dumb.
I HIGHLY doubt, that Proto will miss these "subtle" hints. ((And I'd still like to know what Language translates Morph into Many)).

It's ok, Ra-nee. We're dropping the Metamorphmagus trouble. We know extra abilities weren't supposed to be really for anything beyond minor uses (Artemis talks to her pet runespoor with parseltongue, but that's about it).
Hmnn. You guys will have a hell of a time explaining to me exactly how the lineage tree works. =d Best of luck?

I know you weren't attacking me Rach. I got the smilie in your post. I was simply just trying to end the discussion. I'm not mad at you or anything nor am I holding a grudge ;p you made your agreement, shared your views and I understood them. The dropping my metamorph character was decided before I read your post sorry if you got the impression i was offened I typed that shortly after walking up

Although Proto knows i had already gave up and decided to drop the issue since in PM we have already moved onto other thoughts and discussions. smile
